Railhouse has been a consistent, great brewery over the years. I had moved away several years ago, but stopped in today for a visit. Cute little place! I love industrial places that Have a background so I was excited when I went here for live music last night. It is a good 50 minutes from home so not sure we'd be back often but I really liked the watermelon blow pop sour and appreciated they had sours as I really only drink sours. I loved that they had food, nothing fancy as it's bar food but when I'm drinking a beer all I want is greasy bar food. I had the chicken fingers with fried pickles. This place is pretty small inside but it looks to have a decent patio. Parking was right by the building which I always appreciate! read more

What a great little find as my son and I were coming back from Pembroke!! It's a small little pub next to a gym. There was not much parking, however it was quaint and held to the military theme well. I started with a flight of 5 beers. They were all excellent especially their Orange Blossom Witbier and the Tart Grenade Sour. We had fried pickles who were breaded just right. For my main course I had 12 wings... 6 Caribbean Jerk and 6 Original Buffalo. They were cooked perfectly crispy and the sauces had great flavor and weren't too spicy. The bleu cheese was thick and creamy. The only downside I could see was they only had 2 people working when we got there. One behind the bar and one in the kitchen. While they tried hard to be attentive to everyone and we're extremely polite and helpful, the lines to order were long until another employee showed up. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend checking them out and will definitely stop by if we are in town again. read more

We stopped by last Saturday and it was busy. The woman at bar was a one person band but she excellent at keeping things moving. It took awhile to get our food, I had the wings which were very good. My wife had the burger and said it was ok but the bun was really good. We had a couple beers and they were nice and cold and very enjoyable. We will be back read more

Please hire a qualified f/b manager!! Having one person run the kitchen again on a busy Saturday night is insane. I'm really tired of waiting almost an hour for my food order. Great overall atmosphere. Any bar that has dart boards is great in my book. The food was disappointing...I had the, boneless wings, my son had pizza and my husband had a meatball sub. After a long day golfing we were looking for a hot meal and refreshment and found it here. Most of us had the burgers and those were fine. Chicken wing were good too but they came out really late so they came off the bill. There a large selection of beers from which to choose. Everyone should find something to enjoy. I'd been to Railhouse probably 6 years or so ago, so it was good to get back (My craft beer taste has definitely matured!). As part of my job I help market train travel so having the brewery right beside the tracks makes it more enjoyable. If you bring your children along, they'll enjoy watching trains roll by and you can probably check out the old train cars parked nearby. This is veteran owned, so the decor and such reflect that. The bartender that day was on her own in the front and back kitchen, so she was rushed but was so friendly! There's definitely a smaller town feel in Aberdeen. Railhouse has, I think, 5-6 standard beers which are available year round. They also brew some small batches. The heavens were smiling on me that day as I was able to get an entire flight of sour beers! My favorite. Each of them had great flavor and were light for the hot weather. They also have a good menu, so be sure to take a look at that. We'd have ordered there if we weren't trying to keep moving to visit two more stops later. I would absolutely recommend this place for a drink and live music. I would not recommend for food. Small menu. Had the hot dog and the buffalo chicken sub and the bread just wasn't soft. The fries were so over cooked they almost weren't edible. Again, great place for some drinks and listening to music. Not a place to go to just for the food. read more

Rail House is a brewery clearly devoted to the military community from the moment you walk in, although it may not look it from the outside or in my pictures. The meatball sub was a first time Go at this station. The list of beer crafted here also has a military theme. I didn't taste it yet but I got a growler full of Knights Golden. We were charged for a beer we never had, and to have it removed took almost 20 minutes of transaction errors. Great food if you happen to receive it. I used to work at the hobby shop a bit down and have always had the experience with them that I have to check my food everytime. They have consistently forgotten things like putting sauce in the wraps or forgetting side orders. Today they forgot to put fried in my order so I just got my wrap. Like what? pay attention to the orders only reason I'm leaving this review is because this is an on going issue on their kitchen at least with me and maybe this will help. read more

One of our favorite breweries. Nice folks and a relaxed vibe. Nice variety of product. Mellow atmosphere and they do weekend events as well. Love the k-bar brown ale and the red ale is a favorite. There are plenty of other very good beers too. Food is pretty much of the "bar variety" but that's ok they're a brewery and not a restaurant, which they don't claim to be otherwise. Like this place well enough that we drive past on the way to the beach, which adds about an extra 20 miles just so we can fill growlers for the vacation. read more

It was nice to try their oatmeal stout. Nice and heavy not overbearing on the chocolate. I took a taste of their first beer but it was a little bit late. Not quite like a Marzen that I'm used to. At least this place has a menu for food. It was dark when I pulled into this place and I wasn't sure it was open. I heard some people talking outside as the temperature was perfect and decided to try my luck. The bartender, faith, I was very personable and the gentleman at the bar were very animated. A brewery located in the heart of downtown Aberdeen. This brewery is one of the only breweries in the area that also offers food options which is a major plus. There are limited outdoor seating options that do leave a bit to be desired. The indoor area gives off a dark "sports bar" vibe. Overall it's not my favorite in the area but it a good place to mix it up if you are in the Aberdeen area. read more

Worst customer service I've seen in some time. I had to get up from the table three times to get drinks, the check and then get a to go box. The waitress didn't even know which order went to which person so we had to figure out which meal (several cheese burgers made different ways) went to whom. The staff seemed more interested in socializing than working. Only had bar food and it took almost an hour to get that. We went there when almost no one was there so would I hate to see what they are not capable of doing when they are busy. read more

Came here for a tour at 3 on Saturday and were surprised they were not offering tours that day. They told my gf to hang on to her groupon and use it some other time. So if you go here with this intention, you might want to call ahead. There was only one person behind the bar while we were there and she was quite nice, but it was hard to get a drink during busier times. I love the fact that RB is veteran owned and they have an amazing tribute wall to honor fallen service members. They also have other breweries beers on tap and have a decent sized bar if you want liquor. I didn't really love any of their beers, but the Oatmeal Stout and the Wheat Beer were drinkable. I will also mention I can imagine their Winter in the Pines is quite good on a cold winter day. They had a little left over, so I sampled it...and while it may be totally the wrong weather for it right now, it did have very interesting nuances. I've been here three times now I think, and it's a fun place to hang out. There tends to be a good crowd, but the space is nice and big so it doesn't feel crowded, and the bar is really long, so it's not too difficult to get a drink. They have a good beer selection, including some of their own, and I got a "Pint of Bacon" last time, which was a delicious late night snack. (I'm not sure why they put peanut butter in with the bacon though...ewww). Perhaps what I like the best about this place is the activities. They have Cornhole/Baggo for your entertainment, as well as darts and a monster Jenga set made out of 2x4s. I think this is one of the best chill hang-out spot in the Aberdeen/SoPi area. I waited till my 3rd visit before leaving this review. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a decor that displays the "why". I've been there with my co-workers, family, and then just me and the girlfriend, and all have been a good experience. Bartenders are always down to earth and approachable. They have a large variety of quality beers, and liquor. If you're a newbie to craft beers, thier happy to let you try a few samples before deciding on what's your vice. Awesome spot, will definitely be returning! read more

I've driven by this Brewery multiple times but decided to stop this time around. Glad I did! The beers were awesome! I got an amazing tasting stout while my wife tried a couple of their sour beers, her new favorite place for a few drinks now. We ordered Wisconsin cheese curds and they were awesome! Our orders were spot on with flavor as well. We had children with us and they enjoyed the pretzel bites with beer cheese, their favorite!
