I ordered a gift card May 13th online as a gift to my daughter for Mother's Day (I do not live in NC) and the communication was terrible. I did not receive a confirming email or text but the money was removed from my account so I knew they did get the order. After 11 days I emailed and called them again as the gift card had not been received and I wanted my son-in-law to pick up the card but no one answers the phone or returns voice mails apparently. My daughter did receive the gift card in the mail after Mother's Day and I was charged $4 to mail the gift card. Yesterday (July 9th) I received via email a receipt for the gift card just about 2 months after purchase. Not impressed.

Ordering requires navigating a slightly awkward counter-service bottleneck that disrupts the otherwise relaxed flow, but the friendly, welcoming staff more than compensates for the logistical hiccup. Beyond the taps, the kitchen yields pleasant surprises; a hearty chicken salad elevated by a sharp, house-made vinaigrette proved remarkably good.
