We keep coming back to El Chapin because it's one of our favorite restaurants. My wife is from Guatemala, and she says the food tastes just like home every time we visit. The service is always fast, friendly, and welcoming, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere in the heart of downtown Aberdeen. We also love the salsa bar with its fresh vegetables and toppings. If you're new to Guatemalan food, it's a little different from Mexican cuisine and isn't overly spicy. Our favorites are the churrasco, the pollo en pepián, the delicious coffee, and the fresh cookies. We highly recommend El Chapin to anyone looking for authentic Guatemalan food. read more
