Arrived on Saturday evening without a reservation and we were seated immediately. We had the chicken fajitas, beef chimichangas, chicken and mushroom quesadillas, and shrimp burrito. All of the food was tasty. Nicely decorated with an abundance of unique Mexican themed artwork. Prices are very reasonable. We will re-visit when back in the area. Highly recommend. read more

Service is great. Large selection on the menu. Love the chicken tortilla soup and the taco salad. Celebrating a birthday is fun. Birthday person gets to wear a charro hat. Nice ambiance read more

Highly recommend! LOVED the chicken tacos and my friend enjoyed their flautas. The queso had a good consistency (not watery) and they also have a yummy spicy house salsa (if you ask for it) in the back! Particularly enjoyed their beans as well. I'll be back! read more

Giving a five star review to offset some of the 1 star reviews that I believe is an unfair rating. With that being said this is a great Mexican restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. GREAT prices comparatively. I mean, $10 fajitas on Thursday? Come on! Fajitas were seasoned well and had great flavor. Refried beans were great. Cheese dip is very good. Only thing IMHO that lacked was the salsa. Needed a little bit more salt (easy fix) and I would love cilantro in it but that's just preference. Booths were nice, bathroom was clean. Nice decorations. Loved it and will be back. Quit leaving 1 star reviews bc you had a semi-bad experience with service ONE time. Get a grip folks. read more

We stopped by tonight driving through town. I am not sure why this place only has any bad reviews. First the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious, portions were great and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was great. Lastly, the service was above and beyond. It has been a long time since I could say we have had service that good anywhere. Jessy was fantastic making sure our meal was great and interacting with our family. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! read more

I came here on the review of many others, fully open for a positive experience. I mean every Tuesday they have $1.00 tacos. What an awesome deal!! As I walked in it was dirty, but that doesn't bother me much. We get to the booth and there is old food crusted to the side of it. It's something that can be fixed. We get a rag and it gets cleaned up. Problem #2 fixed. Half of my food comes out and the remaining people of my table go without for the next 20 minutes. I went to the kitchen after being there for over an hour and find out they haven't started our food so I told them not to worry about it. The kitchen was more about getting pick up orders than the guest inside. The table next to us was there long before us and they still had not received their food. I paid for the drinks and we left. I hate writing bad reviews but the staff needs some work at this place. If there is a next time, I'm hoping the next showing is better. read more

This is the only Mexican restaurant my wife and I go to in Moore County. They have great food and the best prices. You can't beat their taco Tuesday special and their drinks are also priced well. It's locally owned and you will see the owner regularly taking orders and greeting customers. Highly recommended! read more

a carthage staple!!! great people, great food--what more could you want!? the chips and salsa are classic and delicious, i always eat too many before my food comes out! on tuesdays, they have $1 tacos that you will be SO happy eating. one of my favorite dishes is the arroz con pollo (ACP), who'd be upset eating chicken and rice absolutely smothered in queso!? read more

The food my family and I ordered was delicious. The cook did an amazing job seasoning the food

A festive atmosphere and good Mexican food served in adequate quantities at a more the reasonable price, more than enough reasons to give it a try! read more

We came to Carthage to shop in antique stores. Since it was lunch time, decided to eat first. It was a bit challenging to find a restaurant. We came across this place and thought why not? It was clean and the staff was friendly! The prices are so reasonable! They brought us chips and salsa which is standard at a Mexican place. Nothing standard about the chips and salsa! Some of the best I've had for something so basic! Chips were warm, right thickness and perfect amount of salt. The salsa was delicious and flavorful with some heat but not overpowering. I ordered meat trio fajitas. Omg! Moist, wonderfully grilled with amazing seasoning! It was perfectly balanced! Even if I wasn't shopping, I'd come back to eat here! With tip was under $20 for the two of us! read more

Great place to eat!!! Taco Tuesday is our favorite, always great friendly service and you get your food fast :)

I really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. I had steak with poblano peppers that was delicious. My son got to enjoy a virgin pina colada he said was the best he's ever had. Taste to value ratio very high. read more

The people were nice, the restaurant was clean but the food had zero flavor. Chili relleno was a chili with cheese on it with tomato sauce. No flavor, no spice just greasy bland sauce. Lots of food for your money but again, no flavor. My partner had chicken quesadilla and it had boiled chicken in it without any seasoning. YUCK. On the plus side, chips and salsa were good and it was very inexpensive. I won't be going back but if you want very Americanized Mexican food it is ok. read more

The food is good & In convenient location. My problem with them is their menu. Call me old school but when a price is posted on the menu, that's what I base my selection on and what I expect to pay. It feels like a bait & switch & I leave feeling cheated. Not cool. read more

The best Mexican food I've had. Large selection and very vegan friendly! I highly recommend the guacamole.

Food was good, but the service was pitifu. Waitress saw that the glasses were empty and didn't t bother to come to ask us for refill. Also order some extra food and desert and the waitress never brought them. i would never waste my time in visiting that restaurant again. read more

I come here often and always have a wonderful experience. While visiting today I ordered the tortilla soup. WOAH! That was so so good. I actually want to know their exact recipe. So if you decide to go definitely try the soup, you won't regret it. read more

The food is great, but we called to do a pickup order and called every few minutes for about 3 quarters of an hour. Don't advertise a service you don't plan on delivering. Definitely not calling again read more

We ate there tonight and thoroughly enjoyed! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly. Service was fast and accurate. This was my first time trying....will definitely be back again!! read more

Asked for queso twice and never received it would have asked a third time but besides getting our order and dropping off the food we weren't spoken to or acknowledged again. $8 for microwaved mushrooms from a can in the mushroom enchilada didn't do much to redeem the experience. read more

Driving by and kept seeing a full parking lot so tried it out. Delicious authentic food including real deal tamales. Huge selection of anything you want plus the staff and kitchen will let you customize whatever you want. Fast and fun service from hardworking staff. We don't usually order alcohol but tried a margarita and it was perfect. We have returned many times for Taco Tuesday and Fajita Thursday. Portions are so generous that we usually have to take some home. Glad to find a place that is comparable to what we were used to in Mexico and California. read more

I ordered 2 bean burritos, and let me tell you I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! I got it to go, well instead of bean burritos they gave me dough burritos. There was literally nothing in the burritos!!! For almost $9 I got dough...never again read more

Love coming to Casa Garcia! My wife and I are regulars, and we are always seated quickly and have drinks and food very quickly. Food is great and $1 tacos on Tuesdays are fantastic! read more

Our first interaction with our server should've been our clue to run. She didn't know what horchata was and asked what queso was. Seriously, wtf? The steak ranchero was unseasoned near with a bland, greasy red sauce. No spice. No flavor. Asked for sour cream 4 times before it arrived. When told by me that the good was bad and service worse, there wasn't even an apology. Spare yourself the disappointment. read more
