First time here. Great burrito as it was recommended by the restaurant. Added avocado for $1.19. Had the steak. Not sure if it's a good thing as it fell apart as I ate it because it was pretty full. The tortilla was nice and crispy. Also had a notable large amount of rice in it. Salsa is good, they bring you an entire bottle. You order outside to the side of the building. I always look forward to any opportunity I get to eat at Armando's. The food is fantastic, the establishment is very clean, and the cashier/staff are friendly. They have a pretty good selection of food and drinks. I always get the chicken taco plate with rice, beans, and an energy drink. Its a must go if you're in the backyard of Ft. Armando's is delicious. Definitely worth the drive. Our area that we live in has very mediocre Mexican food. The two taco platter I ordered tasted delicious and more importantly, fresh. The whole meal was under $18 for two meals. We also got the chorizo burrito which was pretty big for 4.99. The beans, rice, tacos, and burritos did NOT have that oily after taste, which I really appreciated. The salsa was delicious but not that spicy. My only recommendation is that they should have an extra spicy choice for their salsa. :) The avocados were fresh and the area outside was clean. The SERVICE was great and they were super fast! This is a gem in the middle of nowhere in the heart of Fort Bragg. This is a Mexican joint all the troops said for us to go eat on our way to Camp Mackall. They steered us right. I had the enchiladas they were horrible I wanted chicken but they said they had ran out of chicken for the day so I got steak instead because the beef was ground beef and I wanted authentic when I got my enchiladas they were flour tortillas instead of corn I ask for Pico de gallo so they chopped up onions tomatoes and added a little cilantro and did not mix it up or add lime juice nothing My meal come with a drink so I asked for horchata it was a dollar more needless to say I had to throw my food away I was so mad but calls I drove 30 minutes there just to get authentic Mexican food something told me to leave as soon as they said they did not have chicken read more

Ok - lets start with the bad and there's not much. The parking lot is pitted, the building isn't pretty and you have to order at a window outside before you go in to eat. The food however is great! Eat here! The tacos, gorditas, tortas, and burritos are amazing! Stopped here (since its the only food place for miles around) for lunch between training events, out of a recommendation from a colleague. I wasn't expecting much given that people in the military field don't typically have extensive culinary experience and the recommendation was simply logistical... But I was impressed! Authentic ingredients, they altered orders to your liking, superrrr fast service (great if you're in a hurry!) and lots of seating inside and out (not impressive seating though, this is more informal/cafeteria like style). You order outside next to the entrance of the building, and you seat yourself inside, a lovely lady then comes out and calls out your order. Delicioso! read more

Food is very fresh and the service is super friendly. Covered area outside with a nice view, if you appreciate a Carolina blue sky and fields. My chicken tacos were awesome! I prefer flour tortillas over corn so I was pleased they offer flour-I know I'm in the minority here. My only complaint is the lack of variety. I've only been once, as it's the middle of nowhere, but it was fantastic! It looks like they took over a little (golf) driving range shop, and you have to order at a window, then sit inside or outside on a covered patio. They have Mexican and American (burgers, wings, chicken sandwiches) for breakfast and lunch. The lunch specials are a good deal, I got the quesadilla special. This comes with two quesadillas (I ordered chicken and steak), rice, beans with some pico on top, and a drink. These were some of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Fresh made tortillas, juicy, tender meat and just the right amount of cheese. The sides were a perfect compliment. Highly recommended. I will say, I saw someone's burger, and it didn't look the greatest to me.. I'll stick with the Mexican. Don't let the look fool you, stop by! read more

I was never a confident guy, when I came to Armando's Flat Grill... my life changed. After the first bite of my taco I had 10 girls dm me asking to Netflix and chill. My boss emailed me and gave me a promotion and after I ate I ran a mile at 3 minutes 45 seconds. I tried Armando's Grill when I first moved to the area on a friend's recommendation and it's become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The biggest thing I look for in a Mexican restaurant is good salsa and these guys have it. They make their own and their recipe is perfect. As a matter of fact I sometimes buy a bottle of the salsa to bring home. They use high quality meats and fresh ingredients like avocado, cilantro, and tomatoes. They're locally famous for their Big Burrito but they also have really good home-made tamales on Thursdays and tortas on other week days. They have a few non-Mexican items like burritos, fries and hot dogs as well. The proprietors of this family-owned business are very friendly and the service is always fast. read more
