This dealer did not call me when my gun was ready for pick up, but the worst of it was that when I did go pick up my rifle there was significant damage to my scope cover which is broken, it also now has four new scratches on the finished wood stock. The man I bought it from recommended this place for transfer of ownership but I will never go back or recommend this place for this purpose. Since I had to leave it without the case it was placed in a safe with other long guns with no care to the handling of it. Rob is the best. Got into the hobby in 2009 and been going to him since. Prices are the best and location is convenient for those in the East Bay. You're looking to pay twice as much anywhere else. He may come off as rude and unprofessional to new customers, but that just his demeanor. When you get to know him, he's actually pretty funny. He's been in the FFL business for many many years and probably burnt out on answering the same questions for that long. Best is to do your research on the FFL process before resorting to him with the basics. The one thing I'll comment on is the lack of security there is on packages that are waiting to be picked up. The firearms are kept in the safe in his office, but all the ammunition packages are just left out in the room next to his office right next to the front door exit. Why go anywhere else for transfers? I travel a whole hour to get to RMB. Are there closer more convenient places to go? Yes. Do they also charge out the wahoo for transfers? Also yes. I came to RMB to take my Ca Firearm Safety Test and to purchase. Now keep in mind I am not writing this review on my behalf, but on behalf of all the others that were there to purchase and take their tests. Short and simple the owner is a complete jack ass and rude to everyone who was there. He was extremely disrespectful to everyone who was waiting and especially to some of the customers whose English was not that great. At one point he said "Speak up! Ohhh it don't matter I can't understand shit you're saying anyways!" Even though he didn't give me any trouble, I will not be coming back. I have no tolerance for this type of behavior. I feel I am taking advantage of Mr. Blank's time since people are paying bucks for some classes outside. In addition, Mr. Blank lectured me about laws around home defense, what and what not to do with home defense weapon. even though we met the first time, he made me feel like he is friend I know for a long time or a senior member of my family who like to educate youngsters.
