Ask the Community - RMB Enterprises

My ammo supply arrived on Tuesday but I missed to pick up and stored are closed on Wednesday. I have work on Thursday, am I allowed to pick up on Friday or lost the item & money?

Rob is great I have used him for over 10 years. When he moved his office my item I could not pick up. After 4 months later my item was still there. However, I kept checking in with him. Just call him and let him know what is convenient time for you…

    Is it still appointment only?

No... Open M-F 9 am to 4:30 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday

It's now mid-July 2024. Is Rob back up and running...able to receive and process new purchases?

    Yes!

Any update on Rob's new location?

    1376 Minnis Circle

Is RMB back up and running? (5/5/24)

Nope, not yet. Still dealing with the the city business permit. No estimate when he will be back up and running.

What's the ammo receive process ? Do I have to inform Rob prior to it being shipped there or just ship and I get a call when it arrives at RMB?

For the first order it's probably good to call and let him know that you're going to be placing an order. You're going to have to track your own orders and pay attention to the delivery so you can get there within a couple days, Rob won't call you.…

Can you help me remove and install parts?

Go there and there's a gunsmith next door, ask for Jose

How much is the online transfer fee?

as of October 2022, transfer fee per gun + DROS fee is $80 per handgun ammo transfer fee is: $25 (unlimited qty)

Has anyone ordered ammo from gunbroker and got it shipped to RMB? Pricing on getting shipped here?

as of October 2022, transfer fee per gun + DROS fee is $80 per handgun ammo transfer fee is: $25 (unlimited qty)

Are you guys the storefront for the gun company online?

It's the same building address, but different businesses.

Does anyone have experience of purchasing gun from sportsmans warehouse and ship to this dealer? My gun is already on the way but I have no way to track it. What's the procedure?

Dealing with RMB Enterprises is going to be straightforward and easy as Rob doesn't mince words about what is required, timing, and cost. And that is the beauty of dealing with this company regarding the gun acquisition. You will need your driver's…

Does anyone have an email address for this business? Thanks.

    Rmbent@aol.com

Hello still doing private ammo transfers?

Yes, RMB does private ammo transfers.

Do you have the firearm certificate test? Do I need make an appointment to take a test or you have a testing schedule, or just walk-in?

Yes, RMB does provide the exam for the Firearm Safety Certificate. Appointments are recommended.

Will you still be able to do FFL transfers during the shelter in place?

I asked Rob that same question and the answer is yes by appointment

Hi, is the store still doing dros ? If we want to buy firearm from online, is it possible to ship to the store and pick up 10 days later? What would be the price for 1 long gun and 1 handgun? Thank you.

RMB charges a $40 fee for FFL TRANSFER. then the DROS FEE and applicable tax. now i am not sure if it's $40 fee per firearm... you can call him. He is excellent at what he does and can answer your questions. I ordered a firearm from a dealer on Gun…

Will you close due to the 'shelter in place' order? My online order ammo is already on the way to your store.

We're on limited hours so be patient about pick up. Track it and contact me when it comes in. Make sure you're in the DOJ system or you won't get the "instant" check…

Hi. Do you sell optics here? I'm looking for a long range scope particularly a vortex HST 4-18x44 and if so would you be able to mount this on my rifle?

RMB doesn't sell a wide variety of optics or mount scopes. I would suggest purchasing online and looking for instructional scope-mounting and sighting on YouTube.

Should I contact ahead of time for shipping a AR lower here?

Order, track, and come in after it arrives to do the DROS. Thanks,…

I will get a rifle with a pistol from buds. What's the total FFL transfer fees?

I believe it's $40 for fees and about $40 for dros.

With rows and rows of tackle, I am able to find most lake specific lures, weights, bait, hooks, etc. Sometimes I have to go to the store at the lake itself and get even more specific items, but BPS usually has what I need. Whenever I enter the store, the personnel always ask if I need help or direct me to the area where more specific help can be found. Moreover, the store is dog friendly and has dog treats at the ready. Occasionally, BPS will host a Monday club night whereby if you are a BPS club member, you can stand in line to get a light meal and enter a raffle to win items, but I recommend you go early and stand in line or else there will be no more food left.

I used to enjoy shopping at Bass Pro Shops, but my experience with the Bluegreen Vacations…read morerepresentatives inside the store has completely changed my opinion. They approached me and pressured me into listening to their sales pitch, and it felt like "no" was never an acceptable answer. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and extremely pushy. After signing up, I did more research and realized it wasn't a good investment for me, so I canceled months ago. Unfortunately, the unwanted contact hasn't stopped. I continue to receive spam calls, and when I tell them I'm not interested, they often end the call abruptly only to call again a few days later. It's become incredibly frustrating. Bass Pro Shops should reconsider allowing this kind of aggressive sales tactic inside their stores. Customers come to shop, not to feel pressured into vacation ownership presentations or deal with persistent calls long after they've declined. Because of this experience, I no longer plan to shop at Bass Pro Shops. It's disappointing that one partnership has negatively affected what used to be an enjoyable place to visit.

Soooo I have been at this store before but not really a stop for me when I come to the Great Mall…read more My cousins were visiting and they wanted to stop by since there is no Dick's Sporting Goods where they live. Yes, the store is huge. Yes, it looks organized and clean. Yes, there is a lot of sporting items. Yes, there are a lot of brands featured and available. My cousin wanted some Hoka shoes, she saw some that she liked and wanted to try in her size. In order to get your size to try on, there is a tablet on a stand that has you scan the bar code that is on the inside of the shoe that is on display. Once you scan, the shoe pops up, the colors are on display and the shoe sizes that are available. Using the touchscreen and going through the prompts, you request your shoe to be brought out. You also add your name to the request. On the display it tells you that your shoes will be brought out, less than 5 minutes. Since my cousin had a small infant with her and it was feeding time, I told her that we should sit and wait. A minute passes by, then 2, then 5, then 10, then 20. Meanwhile, I see no sales associates on the shoe floor. No one to ask what is happening. There is an entrance in the back that has signs posted to not enter, employee entrance only. Mind you, we were sitting right on the side of that entrance. Suddenly, an employee comes out, calling the brand and the shoe size of the two boxes that he had. People are scrambling to see if the shoes that are brought out are theirs. Nope. Some people are holding on to the display shoe and asking the associate if they could bring their size. The employee leaves to this illusive wall/door. Waiting, waiting.... Now, I am a very patient person but now we are at the 30 minute mark, another employee (not the 1st one that came out) makes an appearance, once again calling shoe brand and size. Walking a bit and swarming. Who knew that so many people were requesting Hoka shoes at that moment too. Why did the screen bother asking for a name if they were not going to use it. More people swarm the employee asking for their shoe size and they leave before I can say anything. 40 minutes....50 minutes, another 3rd employee walks out and brings another stack of shoe boxes with him. Same show, calls out the brand and the size. Nope, not the Hoka's my cousin wants to try on. Finally, I ask the employee, how long from when I place a request to when someone comes out with the shoe, and he said 5 minutes at the most???!!!!!! The most! I told him that I had been out here for almost an hour and no one has come out, he aplogizes and asks what shoe we want. I told him and he promises that he will be out ASAP with my shoe. Okay....promising. Another employee comes out....people swarm, my shoe is no where in the stack. Every other customer that is in the shoe dept is trying on their shoes, deciding and walking over to the cash registers to pay for their shoes. Not joking after waiting over an hour, finally the shoes for cousin to try on comes out. No, they didn't call my name, but since we had prime seating area to this door, i was able to spot the sticker with the shoe style that my cousin wanted. She tried them on....and NOOOOOO! they were too tight, she needed a half size bigger. Ugh, the future did not look fun if we were going to wait soo long to get the bigger shoe size. But, she wanted the shoe and they were leaving the next morning and there was no time to order online or go elsewhere. I used the tablet kiosk to make another request, I guess I had not learned my lesson. Mind you, I didnt see another kiosk and there was a guy that was perusing and looking like he was online shopping while others had to make their request. I did it and the waiting games continued. Waiting, waiting....everyone else getting assistance.... 10 more minutes....20...30 Finally I asked, where are we on the queue for our shoe to come out. He said well they dont have the size 8, so sorry. Um, we have the size 8, she has tried it on, now we need and 8 1/2, oh, sorry about that, I will be back ASAP. Okay....ASAP means different things for people. Finally, an associate comes out, not calling out names, brands or sizes and I see the shoe box. I told him that is ours. He gives it to me. My cousin tries them on and they fit. Long review, yes. But what a nightmare! Why have a process if it does not work and its not efficient. In a perfect setting, sure I can see instead of harassing the sales associates with wanting your shoe size, there is a system in place for them to get the alert and they come out with what you requested. The sales floor is clean since the only shoes out there are the display and not hundreds of shoe boxes. But, what is in place is not better. Personally, I will never buy shoes here. I would go somewhere else to try them on. I also wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone. Unless, maybe you have time to kill. Maybe.

They do cash trade-ins day-of-sale unlike most gun shops in the area that only do consignment. They take the time to properly appraise what you bring in, make sure it's legal for sale in California and make sure all the required paperwork is filled out properly. Their prices are generally fair market value from what I've seen considering it's a cash-day-of trade-in. You'll be waiting for maybe an hour at most here to get paid for selling your stuff instead of the weeks that you would with a consignment sale or what passes for a private-party transaction in CA. Could you potentially get more selling privately or putting your stuff on consignment and waiting for it to move instead? Maybe, but their way of doing things avoids a lot of the multiple trips and waiting time that comes with doing either of those other two options instead in California. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have guns you need to sell urgently or if you would just rather not deal with selling on consignment or arranging a private-party sale yourself.

During the World Cup they were selling a specific World Cup pin that other stores didn't carry or you had to pay double the price for it online. I checked the inventory on the store website and it said they have about 6 in stock, so I went in to grab it. Upon entering I was greeted immediately and found that the World Cup section was directly upfront by the registers which was great, but I wasn't successful in finding the pin, so the cashier tried helping look for it and we had no luck. They doubled check to see if there were any in the back, but there weren't. I was told it's here but misplaced somewhere else and they had no clue. I was on the hunt for this pin and no other locations at Dicks had it except for the Sunnyvale location. I was disappointed I couldn't get the pin, but the people here were really nice and tried to locate it.

Posting this as a cautionary tale for anyone buying shoes at Dick's Sporting Goods - Sunnyvale…read more This would have been a one star rating if not for Xavier in Footwear. Excellent service and attitude. I bought a pair of On Cloud shoes and within 5 days realized they were too big. The issue only showed up in real-world use: when walking downhill my foot slid forward into the toe box. That's not something you reliably catch by taking a few steps indoors. I went back to do a simple exchange (not a refund). The shoes were clean and in excellent condition. The only visible difference was very slight yellowing on the outsole contact pads -- noticeable under their bright store lighting but not dirty, or damaged. At first I was told the exchange would be fine. After further inspection, they reversed course and said the shoes were not "resaleable" due to wear. I spoke with multiple people (each initially identifying themselves as "the manager" before clarifying their role), and after a lot of back and forth the best options offered were: * 15% off a replacement pair, or * $60 store credit as a "no receipt return" value (they said this reflects the lowest recent selling price and excludes clearance). I ultimately took the $60 credit because my time is worth something and I needed the correct size. But the key takeaway is this: If you buy shoes here, assume you cannot test them outdoors -- even briefly -- without risking being denied an exchange. The 90-day return policy sounds generous, but in practice footwear appears to need to look completely unworn to qualify. I'm sharing this so others don't make the same assumption I did.
