I've been using RKM for about 5 years now and they always come through. My downstairs unit quit blowing cold air so I called RKM because I really only trust them to do work on my AC. I called around 7:30 they said they could get a technician out there between 1 PM and 3 PM. But the technician showed up early as usual because they are very good and.looked at my unit. He told me that my unit was very old, which I already knew. He told me that he could put a Band-Aid on it and repair it, but it would be made last and may not so they gave me the option of replacing it at a very good cost. Pedro was very good at his profession. I would definitely recommend if you having AC or heating problems to call RKM. I hope this review helps. read more

RKM came to the rescue! Our AC died in the middle of the night in a heat wave, so I used Yelp's project tool to send help requests to multiple businesses. Amy was the first one to call me, bright and early! She was so sweet, letting me answer all questions via messenger so I didn't wake up my baby. Very personable and efficient, and was able to schedule me for same day service. As a mom home alone with a baby, I appreciated the company sending my technician's photo so I knew who to open the door for--a great security measure. Sean finished his prior job early, and headed over straight away! Poor guy worked midday in over 100 degree heat to get our home cool and comfortable again. He was friendly, quickly figured out the issue, and set about fixing it while explaining everything along the way. A couple hours later and the house is cool again, and he left us with tips for how to prevent this problem from happening again. Wonderful experience all around. Everyone was so kind, transparent, and hardworking. Thanks RKM! read more

Awesome fast service and great customer service.. AC went out during probably the hottest day so far this year. Unit condenser stop working, so I hit up yelp and RKM called me back within 15 minutes and worked to help me get it fixed today with 3 hours of it stop working. Most places wanted to book on Monday or later in the week. RKM booked me for an appointment and then called me back to say it would be even quicker for the tech to come out. Pedro came out, tested the unit, diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and then gave some recommended fixes and suggestions to help the unit last as long as it could. He got our AC back to blowing our normally super cold AC in about 20 minutes, plus the dude was ultra nice and friendly. I'm definitely calling RKM if I have any more issues. Thanks! read more

I had issues with my AC right before our first initial heat wave and RKM was there for me. I had several people quote me some outrageous amounts all the way up to getting a brand new unit. Matt came out and was totally honest from the start. I think what I appreciated was that he offered me several possibilities of what it could be and said he'd do what he could before recommending to replace the unit/or if the cost of repair wasn't worth it. That kind of honesty I can totally stand by. Over all I highly recommend RKM for your HVAC needs and you can take comfort in knowing they'll give you the best service and advice possible. Very professional for sure. read more

Jay did a great job servicing our hvac system! He was very thorough and explained everything to us, including any recommendations he had

There was a little scheduling issue with the demo crew arriving late, but the installers got going on prep work and stayed later then planned to get it done in 1 day. All ducts were redone as well as 2 new added. Extra care was made to patch vent borders and all in all done professionally. Clean up was excellent and our house is colder and ready for summer. Great work. Highly recommend. And Mark did an excellent job with pricing the project for exactly what we needed and very friendly. Thanks for everything. read more

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided Matthew, the AC technician from RKM Heating and AC, Matthew recently visited my home to address some issues with my air conditioning system, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, open communication via iPhone text . As always the team at RKM are professional, honest and thorough on the job. We bought our A/C and furnace from them 3 years ago and still works like new, especially with back to back heat waves getting worse each year. This review is for the routine maintenance we get with our membership to their Comfort Club. Sean our new technician is courteous and friendly which seems to be a common trait of every RKM professional. He made sure everything was where it should be. I also appreciate that he documented everything he worked on and checked along with images to provide proof. Thank you again for all your diligent work! read more

My boyfriend and I first started using RKM in 2020 they came out to take a look at our unit that was old and having problems. They suggested, and we ultimately decided on upgrading our system to save on energy cost and overall just have a better system. We also paid for their membership program to get discounts, twice yearly services, and more. But not long after the unit was installed, problems started to arise. We got all new parts installed on a brand new unit, which honestly should have been a red flag, and of course, the AC unit would go out in the dead of summer. There were other issues along the way. Like a one technician at a service inspection appointment, somehow managed to knock a picture frame off the wall breaking it and almost damaging my newly purchased Nest thermostat. Anyways overall year after year, it seems to never fail that summer hits and the unit goes out. But the icing on the cake was this current summer. The unit keeps shutting off outside, but the AC fan keeps blowing, but it's hot air. It's very frustrating, to say the least, especially with triple digit temperatures and a baby in the house. A technician named Matthew came out started inspecting the unit inside then going to the outside at some point a second technician named Terrence Brown shows up and what felt like an hour or more pasted by and I was not given one single update. Finally Matthew starts explaining the issue but I called my boyfriend so he could explain it to him, I listened to him explain and then tell him it's covered don't worry this is 100% on us. Cool, right. Nope wrong, once off the phone, the technician Terrance arrives, telling me the parts aren't covered under warranty and the labor is out of warranty too, etc. I was upset and asked why Matthew just told my boyfriend this was covered and on you, and now, all of a sudden, it's going to cost us thousands. Terrance seemed unbothered trying to tell me he would get an answer Monday (3 days later) or that day, but only "IF" he went into the office. I demanded to get an answer today, so he called, and whoever he spoke to on the phone, he told them, " The customer is here in front of me and wants to know now." No shit, the AC is broken, and the two technicians are giving me two completely different answers. Anyways today I had another company come diagnose our unit. I found the problem right away, and what do you know it had nothing to do with the BS I was told from RKM. On top of the fact that the issue was a clogged water pump and the AC was shutting off die to water overflowing, so not exactly sure how the technicians didn't see this issue and or fix the clog and our paid for yearly inspections. Needless to say, I will be taking my business somewhere else and will not recommend RKM to ANYONE EVER! You guys should pay me back all the wasted money I spent on your pointless service inspections since these problems are a direct result of your incompetent workers! read more

RKM installed a new heating and air conditioning system in my house in 2020, and they regularly service the system to make sure it keeps running smoothly. I recommend their comfort club service for discounts and regular service. The guys were all great. I have had them in my home before and the job was done right and no mess. Travis was most helpful in helping me make the right decision. Instead of piece mealing the job we did it all so I have no fears in the further of system failure. Julio, Terrace and Isiah were great. They knew what to do. The job was done in one day and everything was cleaned up. Please consider this company for any repair or updating equipment. The office staff are also friendly and helpful. read more

I have been a customer of RKM for 10 years - Jay did a thorough review of my current system and provided exceptional maintenance.

$89 diagnostic was comprehensive. Quote was fairly high. Technician was much better at finding the issues than he was explaining the multitude of service plans he was pitching. I'll review again after the work is complete. read more

RKM is absolutely outstanding. I had a very old system and a very loud blower motor that seemed like it was nearing it's end. I called RKM and they sent Morgan about an hour later: Incredible response time. Morgan took a lot of care in evaluating the system and walking me through how the components work. It was clear that he is passionate and excited about the work that RKM does. Instead of just evaluating the blower motor, he also inspected the heat exchanger and other components for potential safety hazards and points of failure. It became clear that the system (~25 years old) needed replacement. Manny arrived as Morgan was finishing his evaluation and started to put together some great replacement and financing options. Manny was great about walking me through the various options and the pros/cons of each option. He was also very passionate about the products that RKM installs. Their pricing is very fair and upfront, and they have great financing options. Felipe and Alfonso arrived the next morning to start the installation/replacement of the condenser, furnace, and coil. They are friendly and super professional guys! They took a lot of pride in their work and did one of the cleanest PVC piping and taping jobs I've ever seen. They even caught a potential issue with how I had connected the condensate line to the sink p-trap for a DIY bathroom remodel I just completed and fixed that: I'm sure that was outside of their scope, but it demonstrates how much they care about how the entire system functions rather than just the units they install. They performed comprehensive testing to ensure the highest quality of the system and sent me a report afterwards. And on top of all that, they left my house incredibly clean. I can't say enough good things about RKM. Every aspect of this complete replacement was a great experience, and it all occurred within about 24 hours and now I have a highly functional new system. Thank you, RKM Team!!! read more

Have been serviced by RKM for years. They do a good job. They have a maintenance program where they come out twice per year to test the equipment, look at everything. We have been using RKM for annual maintenance and repairs for over 5 years. From receiving the text from Jasmine with RKM Heating and Air Conditioning. Telling me that technician Ron Newcomb will be there in 1 hour. About 1 hour Mr. Ron rang my doorbell. I went out to great him and accidentally scared/startled him. We both laughed, I told him I didn't mean to do that. Before I showed him in. I asked did he have shoe covers, he said yes and I have 3 pups but they are blocked off. He said he had dogs as well. He share his dog is 18 years old and blind and deaf. I thought it was cool for sharing something about his dog. Extremely polite, came in greeted my pups. He explained what he was there for and what he would be doing. As it was getting warm outside I offered him 2 bottle water. After he was doing he went over everything pictures included. He then asked me if I had any questions and I replied no sir. I told him thank you and have a wonderful day and offered him 2 more waters for the road. He replied saying he hopes everyone is as polite as me. I smiled and said thank. Awesome, nice polite and not a pushy person!!!!! Phenomenal personality!!! Rock Star!!! read more

Working in my office one day, I heard a slow drip coming from somewhere near. I could not figure out where it was coming from until later that day when I slipped on a puddle in the hallway! I called RKM to have them take a look and they diagnosed the issue within minutes. My tankless water heater in the attic was leaking. I received 5 different quote options, ranging from the "Bandaid" fix to the "Premium Plus" repair with all new upgrades. I opted for a middle option and repaired/upgraded a couple items for a fair price. I was also offered their Maintenance Package for the Heating and Air system, which was performed that same day as the repair. This package paid for itself 4x over! During the Maintenance, Omar discovered that there was a lose connection in some of the wiring in my heater. He was able to reconnect and crimp the wiring at no cost. A previous quote from a different company last year stated that my "motherboard" had died and I needed it replaced at the tune of $800! Not only did he restore my heat that same day, he saved me beaucoup bucks that I could have wasted with a less honest company. read more

Ron, the RKM tech who carried out the maintenance service on my HVAC system under my Komfort Club plan was excellent. He was very thorough in inspecting and testing my system and documenting the results of every step in the process with photographs, which he shared as he progressed and also in a detailed report emailed to me the next day. Ron went over and beyond in cleaning my furnace blower and the area around and under the the filter, finishing with the installation of a new clean filter. The furnace is located in the hall. Before he started Ron rolled out a rug to catch all debris and when he finished he rolled up and removed the rug, leaving the area spotless! I am pleased with the service I receive as a Komfort Club member. the house is a rental. My tenants have never encountered a problem with heating or AC. Thank you! read more

These guys are fraudulent. I had a 3-4 year old townhome that they came out to do an inspection and my heater is in the attic. A few weeks after they came out, my heater stopped working. Hmmm, very suspicious as my home is fairly new. Well, I called them and they replaced the part via warranty, but charged me for service. Also, they gave me an option to fix it today, for an EXTRA CHARGE, hmmmm - even more suspicious. I will never do business with them again, don't let the 4.7 reviews fool you. read more

So, our AC system (the outside condenser) stopped running one day last week. We only had our system for 2 or 3 years so we thought this couldn't be right! My brother knew the owner, Robert, for many years, and so he recommended the company. Wow! These guys are pros and know what to look for to get the system, not only up and running, but they give you tips on how to save money on electricity, as well as saving wear and tear on the HVAC system itself. Someone from the construction company that installed the AC system had suggested that we put ALUMINUM FOIL around the condenser, as a way to prevent our dog from peeing on it! Against my better judgment I did so and the guys that came over COULD NOT BELIEVE that someone working as an HVAC contractor actually gave that advice! Morgan said you NEVER wrap anything around a working condenser, as it can blow the motor. We were so impressed that we signed up with their yearly plan that day! Highly recommend this company! They are very courteous and professional. read more

I found RKM over the summer when my AC unit broke I 105+ heat over the weekend. My own home insurance was difficult to get a hold of and did not have availability right away. My tech Morgan a was great at quickly identifying the problem and providing a timeline solution. Same experience with the heating tech Zach. We decided to take advantage of the membership and have me more than completed satisfied with their service, their techs' professionalism and knowledge as well as that personal customer service you get from their dispatch desk. Additionally we're happy with the value their membership provides with the yearly maintenance inspections and discounted parts. Our tech, Zach, was very thorough and clean. He explained everything he found clearly which made it easy to decide what to take care of.

I really appreciated that Leo was prompt and he cleaned up after himself. I was surprised he didn't have a replacement filter with him but they said there are many different filters. He left to go to their warehouse and brought one back in a relatively short time, but my place is tenant-occupied and it was inconvenient to them. All in all, I will have them service the A/C and furnace to keep things running smoothly. They are very pleasant and professional- things that are important to me. read more

They helped us out when our AC stopped working during a bad heat wave and I am enjoying the fruit of their labor. The good: they fixed my AC in a few hours, saving us from the heat. He came prepared with shoe covers and I didn't have to ask The bad: nothing really. Little thing that I wish was more info during the appointment. He gave me the company's price list and yet didn't exactly tell me what he was going to work on precisely. I appreciated getting the job done but wish I was able to know how much I was going to spend before he just went and did it. I bought the $30 for $50 coupon code on Yelp and told him about it from the beginning, and he said he would use it but then I had to leave early for work and he didn't use my coupon code. Now I end up paying more than $30 rather than saving the $20 I had planned on. read more
