I made an appointment for them to come out to give me a quote. A week later no one ever showed up and being that time is money I waited an hour and I phoned them back and I asked the receptionist if there was a problem I didn't receive any phone call and I had a no-show. She took my address and phone number down and apparently was thumbing through paperwork I don't think she could find my appointment but she came back to me and asked me if I could wait around and she would contact her supervisor and they would call me back. 24 hours later I still haven't received a call back and I'm not impressed at this point so I don't think I would be using them or giving them a decent rating unfortunately. read more

We had All Type Insulation Services come replace our attic insulation and we had talked to them about adding foam insulation to some of our exterior walls. The work crew showed up later in the morning and we were not told that we had to prep the rooms to add the foam insulation so we had to hurry to move things. In addition to that, we learned that we already had insulation in our walls, which wasn't checked during our estimate. The company will not return our money for this. They offered us a mere $100 credit. We were also not given photos of the attic after insulation was put in as promised. I would not recommend these guys. read more

We went with the bat style due to the pex lines that had been installed by the previous owner, I do plan to go in the attic for misc house work needed and did not want to risk stepping in unseen water lines. I purposely chose to review a week after we got insulation - just because we were so excited to see the difference in temperature inside our house. We live in a 60 year old flat roof house that had absolutely NO insulation in the ceilings or walls. In the summer it would get to be 90 degrees inside the house when it was in the 80s outside (yes! Hotter inside the house!) even if we tried to blast the AC. The winters were equally drafty and uncomfortably cold. We used to wake up every morning to the heat turning on when it got below 60 degrees. Imagine our surprise when the first morning after getting the insulation in our ceilings the thermostat went from 72 to 68 overnight! We now wake up comfortable and are dreading summer so much less.
