I can not recommend them enough. Not only did they do an absolutely amazing job from start to finish, the price to do the whole job was amazing. The drop in the temperature in my house was immediately felt. There are three bedrooms in my house that would be hot to the touch especially in the summer. Insulation Labs removed and replaced the insulation in the attic along with insulation blown into the exterior walls. Those exterior walls are now cool to the touch even on the hottest days. We were reluctant to replace the insulation on our 40 year old house and found it hard to justify spending a big chunk of money as we already had insulation in our attic and it appears to be working. After having a termite inspection, we were notified that there were pest issues and it was advisable to clean a very messy situation upstairs. We brought in at least 1/2 dozen attic contractors and got a wide range of bids. The high bid was 2X the low bid; each claiming to perform essentially the same service. After checking their reviews and google mapping their office, we narrowed it down to Insulation Labs. Thank you Insulation Labs for being a trustworthy and honest company! I received a quote from a different attic vendor who stated that my current attic insulation was old and needed replacing. They also mentioned that there was evidence of rodents due to the amount of rodent droppings they saw in my attic. Wanting to receive another quote to compare, I reached out to Insulation Labs and was able to schedule an inspection appointment quickly. I was blown away after Jacky inspected my attic. Not only did he mention that my attic insulation is solid and will remain in good shape for another 10+ years, he explained that there are no signs of rodents in the attic. The "droppings" he found were pieces from the roof, which is apparently pretty common to find. Jacky was extremely honest and said that he would not be providing me with a quote. He even added that if this was his own house, he wouldn't do any work to it and would feel bad for having me pay for work that is not urgent or needed at the moment. WOW! Dumbfounded (and ecstatic), I had so many questions of how he came to this conclusion. He was extremely patient with me, explaining how he came to this conclusion. He showed me pictures of how my attic currently looks and compared them with photos he had of attics that had insulation and rodent issues. He allowed me to take photos of those examples so that I will know for the future, but realistically I know that I will be going back to Insulation Labs when the time comes for me to actually do attic work. What was particularly noteworthy compared to estimates I got from other companies is that Dor asked me how long I would be staying at my house as he was able to provide options given my anticipated tenure and related investment cost which I appreciated very much. I called them on Fri to let them know I was going with them and they scheduled my attic insulation for the following Tues. the installers called me when they were about 1/2 hour away. 3 guys came about 8am and finished about 4pm. I recently had my AC system serviced by a local company that I trusted that was acquired by a national company. Our home is about 20 years old although the HVAC system is only 7 years old. After completing the service, the HVAC tech asked to take a look at our attic for an inspection. After the inspection, the tech highly recommended changing out the duct work claiming it was non-efficient, adding spray-on insulation due to reduced R-value, and adding a radiant barrier. Feeling like I was being upsold, I found Insulation Labs and asked for an inspection. Jacky came and checked out my attic, took pictures which he walked me through, and gave me his honest assessment: the insulation was just fine, and adding new insulation to get a slightly higher R-value, was not going to be worth it. He also said the insulation around the ductwork was fine, and if I wanted to add a radiant barrier, I could, but would only do it if I were planning to stay in the house for a good while, so the investment could pay off since it only helps during the hot summer months. Jacky was super thorough in his explanation and asked if I had any questions. This confirmed my suspicion and saved me literally thousands of dollars. We saw a posting on nextdoor recommending IL and I decided to give them a call and schedule an appointment. I was curious to see what the additional costs would be besides taking advantage of the LADWP rebate program. We were able to make an appointment within a couple of days. Oliver was prompt and extremely professional, he provided a quote and explained to us that there was an option to pay for cleaning and removal of the existing insulation. However, we did not need to have it done in order for us to take advantage of the LADWP rebate. Eric and his foreman Martin plus 2 additional workers came today to clean and insulate our attic, and also to do wall insulation for one of our bedrooms. We have an one story house built in the 1970's. Every Summer, we can feel the heat baking down from the ceiling because of the old ineffective ceiling insulation. The one bedroom in question has both south- and west-facing walls, and can get very warm from the heat radiating through the uninsulated exterior walls on a hot day. The Insulation Labs truck arrived around 8:30 a.m. Everyone got their COVID mask on. Eric started off by going over all the work that we have agreed to do in the quote. Then, they quickly setup a plastic "tunnel" from the front door to the attic access so to control the dust and then they split up and went to do various work. They worked hard all day. At the end, they vacuumed the work area and hosed down all the dirt in the driveway. They did not leave until 6:00 p.m. It was surely a long day for them. I have to say that their work is very thorough. After they removed all the old insulation material from the ceiling, they went on spent quite some time vacuuming the ceiling area, sealed all the perimeters around the recess lighting, and sprayed disinfectant in the ceiling area. Only after the ceiling is completely clean, then they went on to install the new R-30 fiber rolls. For the bedroom wall, they drilled many round holes on the inside drywall to inject fiber insulation. Then, they spent a lot of time patching the drywall up very nicely. I am very pleased with the work performed. The price was also very reasonable for all the work they did in one day. I definitely recommend Insulation Labs for the work. read more

Reflective barrier works like a charm and the new rockwool insulation improved sound proofing and heat transfer from the attic to our second floor. There was an issue where I purchased more than what was needed, so there was quite a bit of insulation left. When I questioned management about it, team came out and looked into areas over one room not being done. Because of the strange design of our attic, they could not physically get to that rooms ceiling. A generous refund for that square footage was issued and I could not be happier!
