We wanted our attic insulation redone and got a couple of qoutes. I would say they were all comparable in cost, the one thing that stood out is that Attic Masters didn't upcharge for higher rated insulation that is what they recommended from the beginning. Juan was very responsive and answered all our questions. The team that came out did a great job. They covered everything to protect the other areas of the house and left no mess. It is very hard and hot work in the middle of summer and these guys were the most polite and upbeat team. They got it all done within a day. One interior wall was not done (wasn't required by code) when we asked they said we didn't need it but they would be happy to come back and do it if it made us more comfortable. The only thing that was interesting was that we were told the ductwork didn't necessitate having to be moved during the initial consult. Juan at Attic Masters gave me a super competitive price for insulation work, and the price was very reasonable. Note: Beware of the various crooks out there who charge way too much! So,.. Attic Masters showed up at my Anaheim home in October 2023 ready to go at 9am. Workers were extremely polite and professional. They laid down plastic on the flooring so that debris would be contained. They cleaned out all the old insulation, vacuumed, and sealed all gaps and rodent proofed before laying down R-38 Owens Corning Pink Panther fiberglass batting. They took a multiple pictures during the different stages, and they were done by 2pm. My wife and I were so extremely satisfied with the work, that we had them work on a rental property we own in Pasadena. Again, the price was hard to resist! Unfortunately it was getting into late November and the roof needed to be replaced first. So Juan waited until December before we scheduled a date. Unfortunately they couldn't get Pink Panther from the suppliers, so they offered R-38 Johns Manville (Berkshire Hathaway) fiberglass batting as a substitute. It turned out to be a better deal I felt. Again the service was excellent, and the work was finished the same day. I highly recommend this company. After receiving a crazy-high estimate from another company for basic spray-in insulation, we contacted Juan with Attic Masters. He gave us a quote several thousand dollars cheaper than the other company. Juan's quote also included removing our old insulation, sanitizing, and filling cracks and crevices. The other company made no mention of these services. Two days later, Juan and his four man crew completed the job. The insulation provided was CertainTeed R38 roll-in. We purchased our home in August and are still in the process of renovating the entire place. We've started to slowly move in and after a couple of nights, we noticed how cold the place was. Heater wasn't ready to hook up just yet during the reno but should it be this cold? We found out that insulation hadn't yet been installed in the attic. Since I couldn't take another night of freezing temps, I sent Attic Masters a Yelp message the following morning to request an estimate. I quickly received a message back asking if I was available to schedule an appointment that afternoon. They came out and were professional. I received an estimate and although it was my only estimate for the job (I typically get at least 2 to compare prices) I felt that it was reasonable based on the previous reviews on here. And another selling point was that they can do the installation the next day! The installers came the following afternoon and did a great job. They were done in a couple of hours where they vacuumed cleaned the attic, sealed open vents and installed all new insulation. I was pleased at how quickly this was all done. Overall it was a good experience and our home is now properly insulated. The issues, during the initial quote inspection we were advised it would be a one day project and It ended up being two days which impacted my plans for the week. At first the company offered to come back 2 days later but that was not convenient for us. I requested for a shift to the next day which they accommodated. During the insulation repair the team did drop one of the attic vents in the master bedroom but caused no damage to our tv fortunately. No high pressure sales. Just an honest summary of what needed to be done. They coordinated the abatement for day one and then the cleanup and rodent proofing for day two. Day three put in all new ducts and insulation. Very nice crew was respectful of our home and worked to clean everything up. They threw in a free attic fan with my job, but since there was no easy access to electrical, it's not hooked up. Will have to hire licensed electrician to complete that install.
