Mike from A Insulation came out and checked out my attic as I was having issues keeping my living room cool during the summer (large cathedral ceilings with skylights). Mike and his team looked through the entire attic and took the time to crawl through a very small opening into another portion of the attic (the only access point) to specifically look into the living room area to make sure they could provide good insulation coverage. Mike said they could definitely do it and even suggested some other areas that may be causing the excess heat buildup in my attic (roof vent opening size which he was correct and has since been fixed by the original roofers). They did some carpentry work to ensure there was a higher level of insulation in the attic and built a custom box for an attic fan that would ensure no squirrels or raccoons could enter my attic from the roof. Overall it was a great experience, A Insulation (Mike and his team) were very prompt and professional and left the house in better condition than when they first visited. The work done was excellent and the purpose of everything was explained ( I ask a-lot of questions) very thoroughly and professionally. Great guys...I had them come out while I was doing my own insulation because I was afraid I didn't have enough ventilation in the attic. Knowing the problems this can cause, I wanted it fixed before I finished my ventilation. The guys from A Insulation came in and not only looked at my soffits, but did a pretty good review of our ventilation and insulation. Sure enough, the people who did my soffits did it wrong, but A Insulation's team leader, Mike, told me my level of ventilation was pretty good and didn't find it worth it to cut out more ventilation holes. He did find that my bathroom was venting directly into the attic which could be a mold hazard. He advised it wouldn't be too hard to fix myself but provided a very reasonable quote for them to fix it. When called him to come do it, he had three guys come in and got it done very quickly. The guys were very respectful of our house and cleaned up well. Honest guys and very thorough. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. read more

A Insulation was an impressive company from the start with their professionalism and knowledge. From the initial quote with Mike to the finalization of the project, everything was done properly and efficiently. The team of men that completed the project were on time daily, laid out blankets on the floor to not get our home dirty, and worked consistently until the end of each of the four-total work days for two separate attic areas. Everything was cleaned up after each phase of the work. The final product was impressive- very high quality work and materials were used. The temperature difference with having everything sealed off and insulation re-blown was astounding and we are very excited to have an energy-saving home. Our house is 25 year old town house, my attic temperature was too hot in Summer and too cold in Winter compared to the Ground Floor and First Floor with almost 5-8 degree difference. Called A Insulation, booked an appointment for the estimate. The technician arrived assessed the attic and provided estimate for R-38 insulation. Once i checked the estimates, booked the appointment to get the attic insulated. The best part the entire process was done super clean, all the furnitures were covered and few left over foam from the floor was vacuum cleaned to the perfect. Good experience with this company. First time to see something like this done in our home. It was a cool experience. Long hose that go through the house like a big vacuum hose. One guy climbed into the attic which was very dark and looked scary. It was very nice to see. The workers did a good job, they took photos for me to see from before and after. We got 8 inches on top of our existing 9 inches. Most importantly is the price is very fair, good work from them and customer service is good. The installation experts were extremely professional in their interactions, how they took extra precautions, by covering with plastic, to protect the interior walkways they traveled. Very happy with the sanitization / rodent-proofing service I received from A Insulation Crew. I initially selected them based on their Houzz reviews and wasn't disappointed. They did an inspection, then came back for the sanitization / rodent-proofing, then again for a follow-up inspection, and they will be coming back again.
