Short Review: Great work/value and genuinely exceptional customer service. Matan, Tony, and his team did an amazing job on my attic. The attic work itself was perfect. What they impressed me most was how they went above and beyond whenever an unexpected issue came up. Catching a hidden leaking pipe to helping me find a plumber within the hour, fixing and painting my attic door, and coming back promptly to address an airflow issue, they consistently made me feel like they truly cared about my home. I'm extremely happy with the service (I'd give /5) and would highly recommend them! Long Review: I reached out initially to cancel when I decided on another quote. That's when Matan reached out to me and asked if he could stop by ASAP. His initial evaluation was very clear as well as his recommendations. He explained all the details very clearly with visual examples as well (booklet, video). For my 820 sq ft small attic (3-4 ft tall), his quote was the best compared to 3 other companies that I had reached out to for the amount of work done. I received the quote immediately after Matan left my place. Matan and his team (led by Tony) completed the home prep, hepa filter, insulation removal/vacuuming, roden proofing, air sealing, sanitizing, R44 blown in insulation (15"), air duct repair, and pulled up air ducts where applicable. They also recommended installing junctions for the open wires they found in the attic, which was a fire hazard. There is a lifetime warranty on the insulation, a year warranty on the repair work, and a 3 year warranty on the rodent proofing! During the visit, Tony + the team were prompt and finished all the hard work in one working day (9am-5pm) When all the insulation was out, Tony told me that there was a corroded water pipe that was leaking occasionally. I assure you That definitely would not have been caught by me... Matan then helped me look for a same-day plumber (within the hour the issue was found) who was able to fix the pipe. He also helped fixed my attic door that was broken and even painted it for me. Tony and his team then finished the work after plumber finished. I really appreciated their hard work, attention to detail, especially in the smaller attic. After work was done/a day later, I had mentioned an issue to Matan that I wasn't feeling any air in the house and that I couldn't hear any airflow. I thought maybe the insulation is that good Actually, it was not the fault of his team or anyone. there was a missed hole in my cassette style air handler in the ceiling where the insulation was getting through. This holes has been there since the house was made so again I want to say it was very easy to miss and nobody's fault. Immediately after reporting the issue, Matan came by to clean the air handler blower wheel and fixed the two holes with wire mesh and expanding foam sealer. This issue would've never been caught without the help of his teams. He did this during his very busy schedule, and made accommodations for me. He also even fixed the air handler door for me as the door seems to be wet. After that fix, he stayed to test the air flow is good and we could hear the airflow again. I hope what you take away from the review is: - Matan and his team really care and pay attention to detail. Not only that, if there's any issues, they will promptly do anything to fix it ASAP. There were so many small details (leaking pipe, broken attic door, air handler door, holes in air handler box on sealing, getting a plumber within the hour) that they helped me solve. Matan kept reassuring me that "I got you" and it is 100% true. I am extremely happy with the service and how they showed up for me more than just the minimum effort. Thank you Matan, Tony, and the team for taking care of me and my place! read more

We had our insulation replaced and our attic and crawlspace cleaned, sealed and sanitized by the team at Attic Guard. The sales process was very impressive, with videos, pictures, clear evidence of insurance and licensing. Scheduling was easy and we were able to get the project completed very quickly. Matan was very communicative and easy to talk to, as were each member of the crew, led by Justin. When the job was done they cleaned up after themselves. They made it easy for us and took care of everything. read more

I have interviewed several companies about attic cleaning and replacing insulation materials. Attic Guard owner Matan won the business with a highly professional presentation and a reasonable price for a thorough service that exceeded my expectations. His team did an excellent job, as I wanted. It's far beyond clean and replacement. The photos and video they showed me confirmed what they had done. The attic isn't a place you want to work there often. Finding a reliable and accountable service is critical. I highly recommend Attic Guard; the owner and team are friendly, considerate, and put customer satisfaction first. read more

Super salesman-y more focused on the pitch than if they were able to do our project - they weren't, and needed to subcontract part of it, despite initially confirming it was all done through them; way overpriced (double nearly every other estimate we got for our project); pushed us to make a decision within a day, but then KEPT contacting us when we said we were going in a different direction (literally 3 emails, two texts, a phone call). Disappointing experience. Update: In the five hours since writing this review, this business has contacted me twice asking me to take it down. INCREDIBLY unprofessional and Super creepy. read more

Above and beyond service!! Reasonable pricing for the services provided. The owner, Matan, came to the home himself to give me a quote and accommodated my budget. I felt like I could trust him, and I appreciated his thorough inspection, clear explanations, and thoughtful questions. I did a lot of research beforehand and even planned to do the job myself, but after finding this company's reviews I knew the task would be better left to Attic Guard and those reviews did not exaggerate. Scheduling, payment, and installation all went easily, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had my insulation replaced, the area sanitized, and a fan and air filter installed into my HVAC unit; all done in about 7 hours. Thanks to Justin and his crew, you'd never know they were there. Polite and professional, they treated our home like their own. Overall, I'm beyond satisfied. I recommend not bothering to look at other companies, you can't beat this level of customer service, quality of work, and pricing. read more

The team was in and out in 6 hours. In that time, they set up, removed all the batts from a 1500 sq ft attic, cleaned up 30 years worth of dust and sanitized, rodent-proofed and sealed air gaps in the ceiling, replaced / upgraded the ducts, and brought the R value of the insulation from R19 to R38. Left the place basically as clean as they found it, and gave us pictures of their work as they went along. Super nice crew as well - definitely recommend! read more

Attic Guard - New R13 - Insulation Installation Near Me - Escondido, California

After a terrible experience with another company that failed to rodent-proof my attic, I called AtticGuard and I'm so glad I did. Matan was amazing: professional, thorough, and truly committed to solving the problem. He even used a drone to inspect my roof from above, which showed me how seriously he takes his work. He checked every detail, sealed every entry point, and explained everything clearly. Don't waste your money anywhere else. AtticGuard gets the job done right the first time and is worth every penny. Highly recommend!! read more

I was very impressed with Attic Guard from the beginning when my wife and I met with Ariella Ernstoff, Senior Sales Advisor. She arrived in less than one hour after I made an appointment. After we talked a bit, she went up into the attic and looked around and took several pictures so we could see what we were dealing with. She then showed us the attic pics and then began explaining what and how the project would proceed. At all times Ariella was professional, clearly speaking about what was needed to complete the project. Her attention to detail was extremely impressive and never once did I feel she was trying to up sales to a more expensive product that I did not need. She detailed the process with insulation removal, rodent proofing, air sealing, sanitizing and insulation of the new insulation. We then discussed the cost, in which I felt was fair but with the addition of a 10% Military Discount was even better. She also offered another discount if we could fill a date/time slot that another customer had canceled, which we were happy to accept. So all that was left to do was book the appointment and pay a down payment, we were good to go. The morning of the appointment, I was sent a text message saying that Tony and his crew would be here at 8:00am. Tony and all the crew were very polite and professional and seemed excited to get started with the project. They first erected a plastic barrier tunnel from the back door to the attic entry and covered the floor to contain the dust. Then they began working on the process steps, as explained above, until the work was completed. After the project was completed they cleaned up and returned everything that was moved to its original location. I was very impressed with the crews work ethic, attitude and their attention to detail as well. Not seen to much today. In conclusion, I just would like to say that I do not give a 5 Star rating easily however, in this case it was truly earned! Thank you so much for a job well done!! read more

I had rat droppings in my attic. Pictures showed how bad it was. I decided to have Attic Guard do the removal. Showed up on time with a large crew. My attic has about 4000 Sq Ft and I live in east county. It was hot!!! These guys worked their butts off in the attic. Thought they might finish in one day, but had a little plumbing problem with the fire sprinklers which required a plumber so it delayed work for a couple hours. Everything was completed except blowing in the insulation, so a second day was needed. No problem. They provided lots of pictures during the process which was helpful showing what was being done. Clean up done and I certainly would recommend Attic Guard to anyone who needs this kind of service. read more

Had great experience with Matt and AtticGuard. I was looking to insulate my upstairs room that gets hot during the day with blown-in wall insulation and Matt really worked with me to get the price and the size of the work right. He first came to my house and did a thorough review of what was already in place and gave me a fair quote. On the day of the installation, Matt and his crew showed up on time, finished the work efficiently, and cleaned up the place well after. From initial conversation to final invoice, everything was straightforward without any surprises. I highly recommend AtticGuard for insulation jobs! read more

Matan and his crew are a pleasure to work with. They do a good job for a reasonable price. If you're looking for a locally-owned company with excellent customer service, this is it. They installed a vapor barrier in our crawlspace and provided over 40 photos of the finished project. They also added on some rodent proofing for free. They are very thorough, and did exactly what they said they would do. I would recommend them.

AtticGuard was amazing to work with. After buying an older home, I realized I needed better attic insulation to keep us cool in the summer. They were knowledgeable and communicative from start to finish. We got a great deal on an unexpectedly labor intensive job. The guys were pleasant and upbeat the entire time, despite needing to work longer than originally thought. Before, during, and after pictures were taken, showing how thorough they were being. When they were finished, a video was taken of them locking up the doors for our peace of mind. This was a great experience. I'd recommend these guys to anyone who needs insulation or vent work done. read more

Attic Guard - Hauling out old attic insulation and debris. - Insulation Installation Near Me - Escondido, California

The services that Attic Guard promised was that by adding several inches of additional insolation in our attic (our main problem was our freezing master bathroom & closet areas) would help to keep the area much warmer. They said we needed insolation in the entire attic & garage too, although the rest of the house wasn't really a problem. The sales person was nice enough, but a bit aggressive. I know we should have gotten a second quote. Overall, their service made "ZERO" difference...especially in our master bathroom & closet. Do not waste you money. read more

Matan, Tony, and team did a great job of renovating our attic to eliminate rat and mouse activity inside our house. Our insulation was about 40 years old and almost down to nothing. Their team came in and removed all the old insulation that had rat contamination and installed new. We notice a difference in our home heating and air conditioning already. The team was very efficient and considerate of our needs. They even replaced the weather stripping on the bottom of my garage door after I had already paid the bill. We don't hear animal sounds in our attic anymore! read more

Would definitely recommend Attic Guard for all your insulation, ductwork, and rodent proofing needs. My attic required sanitation, rodent proofing and new insolation. I looked at a number of companies to do the work and the Attic Guard was the last on my list. The presentation impressed me and the price was competitive. Justin and his crew arrived promptly and worked whole day first covering the working area with heavy paper and plastic. They removed the old insolation and replaced it with new one after sanitizing the attic. They searched for any openings where wildlife could enter and patched them up including the roof. They worked very hard and left the house and the lawn very clean. The guys are very nice, respectful and a pleasure to work with. They also explained well every aspect of their work, answered every question and made videos of their work before and after. If your attic need work look no further. Thank you Attic Guard for taking care of the rodent problem in our attic. We started with a pest company who we value and trust. They were honest when they told us they had done all they could do. We reached out to several attic specialists. Mike from Attic Guard was professional, straightforward and not at all pushy. After talking with Matt (the owner) we decided to move forward with the project. Matt's team was professional. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. I appreciated the photos and explanation of the job upon completion. This company was one of the only ones to offer a 3 year warranty (something we were looking for). I highly recommend this company. read more

I did have a bumpy start when I called them because I got a home improvement magazine with their ad and they said they didn't serve my area. The person who I was talking to called the owner and as it turned out they came out and gave us a quote. I liked how things were explained and how quickly they could get new installation and pest control done in my attic and garage. They put up a tunnel of plastic to maintain control of blown insulation and anything else in our attic so it wouldn't get tracked throughout our house. We had three layers of insulation and numerous rats nest. The crew worked hard and cleaned up prior to departing. What we paid was worth only being inconvenienced for only 1 day. I will share Attic Guard with my neighbors. Thank you. read more

After so much poor service and no results from other companies, Attic Guard was a breath of fresh air. They got the job done right! To out knowledge, we have no rodents in the attic. It's a funny story, I was dealing with rates In The attic! I tried the peppermints bags, call a pest company that was 186$ a month. Worried that this pest was in my attic I had to do something fast, having a very busy life with grandkids, driving one back to his house ( on the 15 fwy) and before I knew it There's a truck In Front of me with writing Attic clean up of rodent... that was IT ! I told my daughter to take a picture of the truck so I call. Once I called the appt was made within a day, pictures were taken ( gross)and I got a senior discount whew. I will recommend Attic Guard in a heart beat!!! read more

We had a NASTY rat infestation under our house. There were droppings everywhere, they had chewed through and broken our air ducts and were running through our vents (to the point where we couldn't use our air and insulation was coming up through our vents), and we were up through the night listening to the rat construction below. Matt came out and took full footage up underneath so I could see exactly what was going on. He was so easy to work with, straight to the point, and had beyond fair pricing. His team was out the next day, and got it done in one day!!! Since they came we are able to use our air, our house smells better, and we haven't heard a single rat. 10/10 would hire them again read more

Very pleased. Staff looks and acts professional. Great price. What set them apart was the attention to detail - they applied foam sealant throughout the attic to maximize energy efficiency, the installed an attic fan, added rodent proofing, and sanitized the attic. I was going to get 3 bids and decide, but after two I was sold on the thoroughness of Attic Guard. The estimator/owner was also very attentive on a customer service level. Great job! read more
