This lead to a more than competitive quote that I was very happy with. The work was done cleanly (I am a stickler for how clean wires are run etc) and quickly. But that is all table stakes in my mind. Where Lior really stood out was when we had a small problem with the install because I wanted to use my existing thermostats. He could have easily ghosted me as he had been paid but he didn't. He remained as responsive as day 1 and had a tech out to fix my problem in 12 hours - I called at 8pm and the tech was there at 8am. Leo, delivered on all aspects of his bid. Leo was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We have an attached ADU and while it was a new build it did not have any insulation between the main house and the unit. We got three estimates and did our own due diligence exploring all options available. We used R-21 Rock Wool insulation and we are very pleased with the sound proofing. Unless someone was using power tools or playing a stereo extremely loud we wouldn't hear them. We tested it out several ways. From the initial conversation about the project, to the process of installation, to the final permit inspection, Leo has kept me updated every step of the way with clear, informative, and effective communication. They removed the old blow in insulation, rodent feces and urine, sealed the attic, and added to Wi-Fi attic fans. Also I pays extra to put down proper bating insulation instead of that horrible blow in insulation. Additionally they found that my brand new $20,000 five ton heating and ac system had inadequate return vents. And that a popular local heating and air conditioning company dud a horrible job of installing the system. From start to finish they provided me with knowledgeable advice and quality service. I only wish they had purchases the heating and ac system from them instead of a polar local company because they would have installed a five tin heat pump, eliminating gas heating and getting government rebates for going electric. Here are the facts about our project to have a whole house fan installed in our condo. Leo and G & G indoor air service satisfactorily completed a whole house fan installation. It works great and we are pleased to have it now cooling our home. Here are my opinions on what happened. Through the Yelp app, our project to install a whole house fan was sent out to numerous local heating and air businesses. Some said they could do the job and some said they could not. Quiet cool gave me a site unseen over the Internet bid For the job after answering a few questions. G & G made an appointment to come out and give me a bid after a site inspection of our condo. The first appointment time came and went with G & G messaging me after their original appointment time came and went that they were stuck in a previous appointment and would be delayed by a few hours. After six hours of waiting, I was told that they would give me another appointment by the end of the day. The next morning they asked if they could come in a few hours to do the site inspection after which They gave me a verbal bid to do the job and I told them that I had received a lower bid. After a few days, G & G provided me with a written quote that was essentially equal to the bid "I received from another company. In my process of reviewing all the bids, I found out that no less than four other neighbors had the quiet cool unit installed from the quite cool licensed company. After some coaxing by Leo and G & G indoor air and some heartfelt decision-making, I decided to give G & G a try because they said they really wanted to do a fantastic job with this project so that sometime in the future when we needed our air conditioner replaced, I would think of them first because of the fantastic job they were going to do. On the installation day, I asked G& G to be there by 8:30 AM as I wanted to do some other things after the 2 to 3 anticipated (as mentioned by the Quiet Cool company) hours of installation. G & G arrived at 11:15 AM. And I found out they were going to be late only because I texted them to find out if they were coming after they did not make the 8:30 am installation time. When they arrived, I found out G and G employed a subcontractor to do the install! after over eight hours of working on the install, they could not finish the job and promised to come back the next morning to complete the install. So much for my day! The next morning, they figured out what was wrong and quickly finish the job within the hour. I sincerely wanted to give a local business this job to encourage them and support them. Although the job was completed, let this be a lesson to ask questions about hiring subcontractors to do a job that they had little to no experience doing and business owners to know the value of keeping their word for their appointment times. Also for not being afraid to tell a local business owner that I'm going with another contractor to do a job that was recommended by other neighbors and Yelp reviewers. Lesson learned. read more

It was obvious that his intent was to provide the highest possible customer service experience. I was not familiar with this business, and found it on Groupon. The price that I received for the services that I ordered was a very, very good value. We are renting the home that we had serviced. It was obvious that the furnace had not been maintained by the landlord for many, many, many years. In addition to the unit being was obviously the original furnace for the home which was at least 20 years old. Gabriel, with no pressure, advised us that we should have some additional service done in order to make sure that the furnace was running properly for our use. We tested the unit and no it wasn't running properly. So, in addition to helping us have the unit cleaned to operate safely for my husband lungs, he also made sure it was a safe environment from the fire hazard it had become. I will definitely use this service again. I was very happy with the results. I was very happy with the manner of the owner and the manner of his employee. My dryer has been taking two cycles to dry a regular load so after researching online, I called G & G to clean out my dryer vent. On the phone, they explained the process and how much it would cost. (depends on length of the vent, but usually $70 -$100) Gabriel and George called to confirm and showed up at my door right on schedule. They took a look at the vent and climbed up into my attic to see what they were getting into. The process involves unhooking the dryer tube and then inserting a device that pushes all the lint together and then it gets vacuumed up inside the vent. It took less than an hour to complete everything and I'm excited to have a dryer that works faster! Gabriel also did a quick inspection of my house central heating/cooling system and found that my air filters needed to be changed and removed them for me to buy new ones. I will gladly forward all correspondences to you to provide transparency. I LOVE Yelp for the reason that we get to provide others with insight and personal reviews. Unfortunately G&G did not work out for me and that's probably for the better. Especially since not once was it mentioned that there was room for improvement on customer service. Again, I tried to give them a try but things didnt work out. Found them on Yelp and loved the reviews I read so I decided to give them a call and things didn't end up working out. Called yesterday and spoke to Gil the manager he was fantastic and detailed. I told him I was referred to them and was quoted $140-200. He stated that the price will vary depending on dryer location and the length of the dryer vent tubing. Called back again today and spoke to someone different. I told the gentleman that my referral didn't pay the amount I was quoted and all of a sudden was now quoted $130. Which is confusing right because now details such as dryer location and length of dryer vent aren't put into consideration?.... (After speaking to Gil the manager, he said that the $130 price was provided as a courtesy but "courtesy pricing" was never mentioned by the gentleman I spoke to.) Therefore I took it as... ok well since we quoted you $140-$200 we can now do it at $130. In the end, I wish things could have worked out better. I really hope the rest of the staff can be as detailed and courteous as Gil the manager is. Just got my air ducts and dryer vent cleaned by G&G. After a 3-bathroom remodeling project our home was filled with construction dust and this cleaning was just what the doctor ordered. Gil was able to squeeze me in the same day I called to avoid me having to wait until the following week. Waiting would have been an issue because using the A/C would throw the dust around just after a very thorough deep-cleaning of the entire house! Gil showed up on time, described the work to be done and got right to work. During the cleaning, he pointed out issues with my A/C filter size and dryer vent offset elbow that were causing inefficiencies with the air flow and lint build-up in the duct. He also showed me the huge amount of lint that had clogged the dryer duct. He suggested removal of the vent offset elbow, and did it as a courtesy. Gabriel and Gil just got done cleaning my air ducts and dryer vents along with the air intake register thing in the bathroom. I am sure there is a more professional name for that thing, and I know they told me what it is called but, I just call it the vent in the bathroom so yeah. Now I can't really crawl inside my vents and see how clean they are, but in the areas that I can see everything looks spotless. My total for the 11 vents cleaned in a 1900 square foot house, along with the dryer vent cleaning, and one air intake bathroom vent thingie was 575 which seems like a decent price to me. Originally I was going to purchase the permanent electrostatic filter as well, but due to an upcoming car insurance bill, I decided against it. To their credit, they never pressured me or tried to oversell anything, they just explained what options were available, recommended that I get the sanitizing of the ducts as well since it was the first cleaning but when I told them I wouldn't be able to cover that, they were still very friendly which I appreciated it. Overall, this is a tricky thing to review since the main reason I got everything cleaned was to see if it helped with my miserable allergies in this state but, I won't really be able to gauge that for a while. So as it stands, I thought they were very professional and accomplished the job I hired them to do along with offering other suggestions like cleaning the bathroom vent, but without being pushy about it. I purchased their Groupon for the vents and dryer vent cleaning and I was able to get a call back for an appointment right away. It took a few weeks, but it was worth the wait. Gabriel and another tech came out promptly at the beginning of the early morning window. They got right to work, and he let us know that our vents had NEVER been cleaned. We just moved in, and had figured as much! He also recommended an additional sanitization service, which we took advantage of. They cleaned up along the way and everything was left as we had it. Although they do not install new systems, he did let us know that our furnace was in really bad shape. I was looking for a reliable , professional and affordable company to clean my air ducts and the dryer vent so I found G&G indoor air services on Yelp and based on the reviews I got in touch with them. Gabriel and his partner did a great job. They arrived on schedule and worked very hard. When they finished cleaning the ducts and dryer duct they also inspected the whole duct work in the attic to make sure there is no air leakage and also taped up some loose insulation. Gil explained a lot of things to me, tips and tricks and general info that's good for an air conditioning and air duct system to run more efficiently. He was super clean, and very respectful of my floors, walls and furniture. He was very careful with his ladder, and when they made a mess (duct cleaning can be messy) they cleaned it all up.
