Our AC unit wasn't working well so we got three quotes. George was able to come out same day to give a price and was the only one to suggest keeping the furnace as a backup to a new heat pump AC unit, as our old furnace was still working and didn't need to be removed. I'm sure this cut some costs with remove/setup, but based on some research this is ideal as the weather can get down below 40 degrees where I live. We went with GVK due to this, the fact he took the time to answer all questions thoroughly and honestly, and they were able to install the next business day; got a quote on Friday afternoon and scheduled me for Monday to install the new system. The price was also very competitive with the other options. We did have a delay in starting as they had a mix-up on install dates and had to postpone one day. However, George called and apologized and offered a discount for the mistake and to charge our current system to help keep the house cool until they came out the next day, which I think reflects how he runs a customer focused business. When he did come out that day I had more questions about the setup and based on our discussion we changed the coil for more flexibility in moving the unit in the attic one day. It was pretty clear that George runs a solid business; he double checked they left no trash after leaving, his workers made sure to set up mats everywhere they worked inside, they let us know when they would be using louder tools (as we have a baby), and they stayed until the unit was fully installed which meant they stayed pretty late. I couldn't recommend them enough. George is really easy to work with, does a great job on the customer side and also steps in to do the work himself which is all reflected in the impressive reviews he has. read more

We hired GVK to install a 4 ton variable speed AC unit at our home right at the tail end of summer 2024. We also received quotes at that time from other large companies that are commonly recommended. The quote from GVK was very competitive with the others, and they offered the best labor warranty. Our experience dealing with the owner, George, could not have been better. He listened to what we wanted, gave us honest suggestions on which unit to go with without trying to upsell us on anything (it was my request to go with variable speed over traditional single stage. When it stopped cooling this year, I reached out to have George take a look - we already knew we had an ancient furnace/blower that was nearing a need for replacement and old, inefficient ducting, and it turned out, our ancient a/c coil was also leaking refrigerant. George came to take a look at my AC after I had a shock earlier with a company telling me I needed a new coil and condenser at $5,000. He was very professional and even removed his shoes so he didn't track anything into the house. He got to work, found a clogged filter, clogged pipe, a hose needing a clamp. Just some general maintenance. He checked the outside unit which was fine. Made it out the door for $165! In fact, I dont think I would let anyone but George work on my AC ever again. George made time to come out much sooner and it's lucky he did- there was a big block of ice formed in the furnace area of the A/C and it just started leaking into the wood and dry wall. I was given a variety of dates and times that would work for me. George is incredibly friendly and respectful. No one has ever offered to remove their shoes before entering our home.
