Interesting business model. I was seeking someone to flush my water heater and (hopefully) remove the loud calcium deposits (pebbles). Saw the great reviews for Heat Busters on Yelp, so I called. An AI robot answered my call and proceeded to schedule an appointment for me without even first inquiring what area I lived in. On the appointed day, I received a heads-up call from Victor, then I was surprised to see Victor and Aaron drive up in separate large work vans. I swear, flashbacks to Colepepper Plumbing's "All-Upsell-All-the-Time" business model flooded my mind. I mean, isn't a water heater flush a one-man job? No way the company is going make enough to pay for two employees & two work vans for the price I was quoted. I braced myself for the coming upsell. Near my water heater, Victor noticed my air conditioning unit and made the obligatory pitch that they could perform a check of that system, also. I politely declined and, surprisingly, any mention of additional services stopped there. They emptied my water heater and inserted a vacuum hose into it to collect whatever pebbles they could. Even used a video camera inside there. In the end - probably 90 minutes - I paid the quoted price and Victor and Aaron went on their way. Both really nice & knowledgable guys. And afterwards, my water heater ran quieter. It's been a couple months now & I can say that I am a satisfied customer. Weird business model, but good service. read more

Heat busters installed the Aquafer Water Source in my home. This was an excellent recommendation when I asked about my old water softener that had quit working a few years ago. This unit uses no electricity and filters to your whole home. Eliminates hard water scale, chlorine and a whole lot more things, making your dishes, laundry and bathing water much safer! I was very impressed how quick it was from the time I called them to when they installed it. Extremely reasonable labor costs. And they have also done maintenance service on our HVAC system! Aaron came out quoted me on Tuesday for a tankless water heater and came out on Wednesday- did the job with his assistant Victor in the 6hrs he anticipated. They came across a road block of a bad pipe but he stand firm with the price he quoted me. You will not find that with any other plumber. They will be quick to charge you another dime! He provided the best price with the same equipment compared to 5 other bids, he responded to my questions quickly, all the docs and payment were on-line with pictures for future reference. I was scheduled the next day I signed the documents, He started the work at 4 and was done by 630. The best air conditioner/plumbers. Great integrity, they did a wonderful job with a difficult situation at my house. It took a day longer than planned, but I wasn't charged anything extra.
