I recently had Aerify Heating & Air come out to service our furnace. The problem we were experiencing is that our furnace would run for a couple of minutes and then would automatically turn off. Aaron thoroughly diagnosed the issue, explained to us that the filtered needed to be replaced in order to allow enough airflow entering the furnace. Our furnace had a heat detector that would automatically turn off when the furnace overheated. Luckily we had an extra filter and he replaced it for us while he was at our house and provided us recommendations on how we can properly maintain our furnace. I was extremely impressed with Aaron's expertise and honesty. Our family been thinking for years on installing an air conditioner in our home. With the recent fluctuation from Heat to Cold we noticed that the heater was blowing out cold air instead of heating the house. We reached out to our Home Warranty Insurance and within 3-4 days they had Aerify contacting us to schedule a date and time that would work on our schedule. The day before the scheduled date we received a reminder email listing the time and name of the company scheduled to check my heater. The next day the gentlemen from Aerify gave me a call and text letting me know they were on their way and their eta. On their arrival they spent a few minutes speaking with us to allow us to explain our version of what had happened and what we had experienced. They were very patient and listened to us. They were very efficient and quickly found the problem and within an hour or 2, we had heat. read more

I sat at home for hours waiting for an Inspector, when the Inspector told me I should have been provided their name and phone number to schedule with a short window. And, unlike what they advertise on their website, they are not a 24/7 business. :-( read more

Beware using this company and letting them into your home. Appointment was set through my home warranty AHS... now they are threatening me with sending me to collections because i have 2 heating units not 1. And technician inspected 2 units... notice that we were not aware of anything. So, 2 weeks ago per Aerify's request I called my home warranty and informed them that i had 2 units and that AERIFY asked me to call them because they inspected 2 units, and if i didn't let them know that AHS will not cover me in case of a future claim. Home warranty said ok, noted. Today I get a nasty call for this unprofessional girl saying that i need to call the home warranty again. Because there is an invoice,i explained i had already called. That Aerify needs to contact AHS and get their payment through them. She then said she could conference them into the call. SHE THREATENED ME SAYING: I AM SENDING YOU TO COLLECTIONS! she said she had a signed invoice, i asked to see it. This lovely lady emailed me an invoice with my name and a "signature" SRA whatever that is, not my initials and NOT my signature... if they are willing to lie, threaten and forged signatures... I'd think twice before hiring them or letting them into your home.they should loose their license! Conculsion, AHS talked to Sandra and they cleared the problem. Due to home warranty requiring me to work with this company i had to wait over two weeks for them to come out to check what i had already had two other techs tell me was wrong. Was hoping the unit didn't have to be replaced, but since it did went through home warranty. However, after waiting for them to come out and give me the same results as the others they said it would be a 24-48 hour turn around before i knew what was going on. 9 days later my Home warranty can now start the process. So basically if you're dealing with this company expect everything to be prolonged and then to leave nasty dirty finger prints on everything they touch like your thermostat. Update 2 weeks later my ac has been installed, if you have new carpet and do cover it don't worry they will drink soda on your new carpet! Then they will inform you that they forgot this or that and have to wait for another tech to come out who also forgets a second item. Then when you cal to follow up they like to state that oh that was a miscommunication it's not their responsibility. Communication with this company is absolutely horrific! read more

We are working with our Home Warranty and Aerify came out to evaluate our unit. The tech was here for 3 minutes and told us that it needed to be replaced. Then reported to the warranty company false statements about our unit and never mentioned any of his findings while at our home . We have 2 AC units and will never use Aerify the tech told us 1 thing and the home warrant another then wanted us to contract with them. This company wants to charge retail and be paid what the Home Warranty covers. read more

Our home warranty set us up with this company twice. (We paid the service fee twice) The first time they came out we had our HVAC on video messing up (it makes this awful noise and stops cooling the house) they told us nothing was wrong and to call again when I happened next. The next time it happened we called our warrenty and they set us up with Aerify again. They came out did a look and this time decided they would replace something. Well now 2 months later (all of this occurred in 5 months) it's happening again. It's unacceptable. I called to see if they would send out a tech again since we have already paid twice and the issue still isn't fixed and was told I only had 30 days from the last time their tech was here. I called Aerify to come out and take a look at my AC problems. I need to replace my furnace. They provided me a few very vague estimates, that did not break down the labor and parts costs and did not provide me which make and model of furnace they were even quoting me on. It took me some effort just to get the furnace models and I informed them I wanted to do my own search for a better price on the furnace and needed a quote for the labor. It's been over 2 months now into this hot summer. I guess I just sunk the cost of the diagnostic visit for no reason (supposed to be refundable from work). I wanted to support a small business but they are unresponsive and they know I've requested this detailed estimate that should have been provided that way in the first place. I'm going to have to call up one of the bigger heating and air businesses to get anything done. read more

They have a teaching website that activates when the technician is on the way, very useful cause I have to be at work and this way I knew I had to head home. Our a/c broke down in the middle of a summer Sunday in El Cajon, and I figured we were in for a wait. Fortunately First American got us connected to Aerify, and by 10 am on Monday, we had a Wednesday appointment. I'm not totally sure what happened on that fateful first visit, since we were at work and my mother met the repairman. But the unit was on when we got home, so we took it in stride. Unfortunately, when we tried to turn the a/c BACK on Friday afternoon (just after COB), it was dead again! We spent another weekend in the pool, and Aerify was back on the phone with me by 9 am Monday. I worked from home Tuesday afternoon to make sure we got what we needed this time. By the time he left on Tuesday, we had a lovely new control panel, no more short circuiting, all covered under our home warranty. Two weeks later, we're still happily air conditioned (and trying to figure out how to set the new system!). Everyone I spoke to at Aerify was nice and accommodating, and despite the extra sweaty weekend, they got the job done. I'd definitely do business with them again. read more

Was assigned Aerify through my home warranty (American Home) and I'm so grateful for finding such a honest and professional HVAC company. From the moment I submitted my claim, I immediately checked the Yelp reviews for Aerify. I can honestly say, they exceeded my overall expectations. Aerify's customer service was professional and respectful. They had flexible scheduling according to my work schedule. On the day of my repair I was notified via text that my technician was 30 minutes away and included a real-time GPS tracking location. My technician (Ismael) arrived early and was very honest and knowledgeable of my A/C issues. My worries of my evaporator going bad was eased when the constant exterior leak (emergency drain) was due to a clog in the main drain. Also, the lack of AC flow into my master bed was due to a broken restrictor plate (which he removed). No markups here and my AC-issues were fixed just like that. I am extremely satisfied with Ismael and Aerify's overall customer service. I highly recommend Aerify for all your HVAC needs. I definitely will be requesting their services again through my home warranty again in the future! read more

This is an abysmal company. They are unprofessional and do not stand by their work. I had to use them to replace my HVAC through my home warranty company. They had 4 guys in my living room for 9 hours, doing nothing for a significant portion of that, but prohibiting me from leaving or getting anything done. They didn't provide me with any of the paperwork, likely because they installed a different unit than they quoted. They tested it for about a minute before leaving. This was in the late Spring, so it was not until 6 weeks later that I went to use it, and it doesn't turn on for more than 1-2 minutes before shutting off. They refused to come back out, citing only a 30-day warranty on their work on a brand new system! Every HVAC I've spoken to since has been horrified when I tell them my situation. Needless to say, I have litigation pending, but please save yourself the headache of using such a horrible, low-class company. read more

I contacted the company for a "tune-up" on my A/C. The home warranty company selected Aerify to do the work. The technician was about 30 mins late but at least he called me to give me heads up. I appreciated the call. They removed the filter and showed me the problem. I was having reduced A/C flow due to excessive dirt on the filter. The only problem I had was I was the one who had to get down and vacuum out the A/C which was a challenge and vacuum, wash, and then dry my reusable filter. My current health problems made doing these tasks difficult. In fairness, I guess the annual A/C cleaning promo did not include learning the filters and cleaning under the A/C closet. My recommendation is to make sure you read the fine print of any special discount offers. The technician was a nice guy and respectful. Not his fault for the parameters of the discount promo. read more

While the home warranty company dragged their feet and infuriated me, Aerify and their crew helped us work with the situation to have it remedied. This is probably the worst company you can ever come across in the industry. There is a big SCAM going on there, and you should be aware. The lady who answers the phone is rude, incompetent, and has the worst attitude possible. If you still don't believe me, just dial 619-734-9949 and she will answer the phone. That is her and she runs the all show at Aerify. She never tells you her name. I was referred to them through warranty (the Old Republic Home Protection) to fix the heating/AC issues that we have been having. Their Tech came and did a shady/questionable assessment on the issues and sent a huge quote to the Old Republic Home Protection for repair. I was willing to pay the heavy repair costs because that is how much I wanted to get the issue fixed. Today when I called to confirm the appointment which was scheduled for Friday 12/3/21 the lady who answers the phone, told me that they can not perform the services until I pay upfront the full amount. We are talking about $3,500 here that she wanted me to pay upfront before she can confirm an appointment with her Tech team to come over. She insisted that I mail out the check for the full amount before she can schedule an appointment, and I said no, I can not do that since I haven't worked with them in the past, and have a lack of trust sending out payments to a company I don't know. They are never honest. Btw, they charge 2% on all credit card transactions. In my case, it would be ridiculously expensive considering the bill was already $3,500. I asked if she could waive the 2% or at least reduce it by half, and she said, I quote "we are in this business for money and we can't afford to lose money". BEWARE OF THIS AERIFY. COMPLETE SCAM THAT ONLY PUT THEIR INTEREST FIRST, AND CARE LESS ABOUT CONSUMERS. read more

Not one star deserved. Worse company ever!!! Had to go through Aerify due to the home warranty. Aerify came out and suggested we needed a new unit, yet failed to check the attic where there was a leakage. I informed them to check the attic and they said they didn't need to and didn't have time. Unit arrives three weeks later and they install it. AC goes out again within two days. Have to wait another two weeks to get an appointment and get them out here. I informed the company that they never checked the attic and they were adamant that they did check the attic. Literally went back and forth that they didn't but apparently the workers lied on the work order that it was checked. They finally come out, check the attic and confirm there was a leak and a part needs to be replaced. Will take 2-3 weeks for part to come in. Fast forward 3 weeks later, part comes in and they install it. Two days later AC goes out again. Two months without AC thanks to Aerify who doesn't Verify that their job is complete. This company is doing this on purpose to charge for every time they come out. Informed the warranty company that I'm done with this company and to put them on their black list. Just called about my NEW A/C that was installed less than 2 years ago. Imagine my surprise when I discovered NO Filter!! they informed me that that is not A part of the "Warranty" service" of which I paid $16,668.00 in co-pay. Using First American Home Warranty, I was first referred to All Appliances. The service guy reviewed my problem and decided to not continue with the job. Later FAHW referred me to Aerify. I was at first wary since other reviewers were not good. However I have my own opinion with my personal experience working with Aaron. Firstly his diagnosis with my heater problem was correct. The original installer improperly wired the wall heater unit. Secondly he was able to correctly rewire the unit and thermostat. Just using good ole voltmeter and experience he used good analytical skills. Thirdly he was straightforward and honest. No upselling or anything else. He says he does about 10 jobs a day so we are not his only customer. Next step is to replace the thermostat for one unit and hope it will go well.
