The installers, Ilya and Max, worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our home, and thoroughly cleaned everything up when they were finished. The installation took place during an intense heat wave, but they both persevered through the two-day job with a smile and a great attitude. A minor issue with the installation came to light a few days later. We called West Coast Heating and Air, and Christian, the technician, came out that same day. He worked overtime to quickly diagnose and remedy the problem, and we really appreciated his dedication and responsiveness. I highly recommend West Coast Heating and Air. I really appreciate Aleksandr going out of his way to help on a holiday weekend, especially when we were in a bind. Great service and great communication. James of Western Mechanical exceeded expectations! It took…read moreabout a week and a half to actually get Western Mechanical service during this last heat wave, but I was willing to wait. The reason? Well, one very good reason is their prices for diagnosis and various repairs are listed right on their company webpage. I didn't have to sweat the cost range, or worry about added charges. Western Mechanical noted their expertise in both commercial and residential units, and James was quite familiar with my HVAC type and brand. The item needed to repair the HVAC was in his vehicle, and the process took only about 1 hour. When he had completed the job, I asked him for his honest opinion about the health of my unit;better to plan ahead than suddenly find I have to replace the HVAC. Fair price. Excellent customer service.

He quickly fixed the problem and had cold air blowing again within minutes, and he DIDN'T CHARGE US ANYTHING! He also gave me helpful tips for maintaining our system and keeping it running properly. Josh's honesty, kindness, and willingness to help were truly exceptional. It's become a long, hot summer here in North San Diego, so thank goodness we contacted Comfort Bros…read morethis past spring to service our air-conditioning system. Even though our AC unit is relatively new, I believe preventive maintenance is important, and we wanted to make sure everything was operating properly before the hot and humid weather arrived. Their technician was knowledgeable, courteous, professional and very friendly, and we were so pleased with the service that we contacted Comfort Bros again the following month to service our water heater. One seemingly small detail that really impressed me: the technicians put shoe coverings on before walking through our home without my even having to ask. We have black granite floors that show practically every speck of dust and dirt, along with light-colored carpeting, so I really appreciated that level of conscientiousness and respect for our home. Bonus points from me for hygiene and cleanliness! During the second visit, they also performed a whole-house inspection and were proactive about letting us know about things we might want to keep an eye on or consider servicing in the future. I appreciated that approach because I'd much rather know about a potential issue early and possibly prevent a larger, more expensive problem down the road. Both of our experiences with Comfort Bros have been excellent. They've been responsive, highly professional, respectful of our property, and thorough in getting the job done, all at what I felt was a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others looking for HVAC, plumbing or related home services. Rock ON Comfort Bros!
