Whether it's routine maintenance or a bigger repair, they always deliver excellent results that I can count on. Recently, when our AC unit started acting up during a heat wave, Sam was the technician who came out. From the moment he arrived, Sam impressed me with his friendly, respectful attitude and clear communication. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, explained everything in straightforward terms so I understood what was happening, and walked me through the recommended repairs without any upselling pressure. His work was meticulous and efficient--he got our system running perfectly again quickly, and even offered helpful tips on how to maintain it better going forward to avoid future problems. What stands out most is how well this entire team, including Sam, treats customers. They've always been courteous and caring with me and my family, making us feel valued rather than just another service call. Sam truly embodies the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone--especially if Sam is available! They're dependable, skilled, and genuinely nice people who stand behind their work. Five stars all the way. Thank you, Sam and the whole team!

One suggested replacing the furnace, which was not an expense we wanted to have to undertake, one said he'd inquire about a replacement motor but never got back to us, and Adam at Global Heating and Air saved the day!! For a fair price he ordered a universal motor and installed it, and the entire HVAC now works better than before. Adam was highly communicative throughout the process and what I appreciated most was his effort to find us an effective but least-cost solution. He saved us thousands of dollars by repairing instead of replacing. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.

The first mini split condenser was fried and had signs of a leak. It was over 10 years old. He called Conor, a supervisor, to talk to us about a new unit. We thought given how busy everyone is that it would be weeks before we could get the split replaced. Conor was able to get to our house in about 30 minutes. Sage serviced the second split while Conor was in route. When Conor arrived he went through the options. We needed something soon with the heat we are experiencing. They carry Mitsubishi mini splits. They had a slot for Tuesday 7/21. We had done our research, so we were comfortable acting quickly. Both Conor and Sage listened to our concerns and made us feel like we were in good hands. For the day of installation Jorge and Aaron showed up on time. They were able to remove the old split and install the new one by midafternoon. Very efficient and respectful. They checked the system out, asked if we had any question or concerns. We have a 115-year-old home, and they were careful in our old home. Our experience with Bob Jensen Heating and Air was outstanding, and I do not say that lightly. Sage, Conor, Jorge and Aaron were great. We would highly recommend Bob Jenson to family, friends and neighbors, without a doubt. We ill add that they have 24/7/365 emergency service.

I…read moreprefer to post positive reviews and if there's an issue I contact the company to resolve it. In this case, Jensen refuses to make it right. My minisplit stopped working after a Bob Jensen technician did routine maintenance on the unit. Before that visit, the unit was operational. After the visit I got flashing lights on the unit. I Googled the sequence of flashes - they indicated that a thermister cable was malfunctioning or incorrectly installed. When Jensen sent the same technician out, he opened the outside unit. I could see that the thermister cable was pinched in 2 places. The technician cut the cable on either side to splice the cable together for a temporary repair. In order to do this very simple splice, he needed to talk to someone on the phone. That person sounded very frustrated with the technician's inability to understand how to do the splice. The tech asked if he should cut off the plug on one end which would have ruined the possibility of splicing the cable for a temporary repair. He clearly didn't have the most rudimentary knowledge about cables. I left at that point and later the tech told me that the splice was complete, but it didn't fix the problem. In the meantime I had been researching how to buy this cable and ordered it since the tech couldn't tell me anything about Jensen's ability to get one. (Bear in mind that the system is sensitive to changes in resistance and a splice may or may not work, so it's necessary to replace the cable.) It was obvious that the Jensen tech didn't know what he was doing, so I contacted a local AC repairman. We examined the splice done by the Jensen tech. THE JENSEN TECH HAD SPLICED ALL 4 WIRES TOGETHER, SHORTING OUT THE THERMISTER CABLE. The local AC repairman correctly spliced the cable and that cleared the fault code, but he let me know it might not last because of the system's sensitivity to resistance changes. In fact, it only lasted a few days and I paid him to come back out to install the new thermistor cable. The only thing Jensen would pay for was the cost of the new cable and shipping. I am out a considerable amount of money from fixing what Jensen broke. On top of that, Jensen insisted that their techs know how to splice cables and refused to fully compensate me even after I showed them photos of the incompetent splice. Then Jensen sent me a letter saying that having an different AC business do repairs could affect my warranty. This is a lie in California because another AC business can do warranty repairs, assuming the unit is still under warranty. Of course, I no longer trust a Jensen repair tech to work on my system and I want a competent repairman to do preventive and corrective maintenance. Bottom line: Jensen won't offset the cost of another company fixing a problem that Jensen created and that a Jensen technician couldn't repair due to incompetence. Also, although I personally saw the crimped cable, the Jensen tech made sure he took it with him - I've little doubt that the tech knew he messed up, but he can't hide his incompetent cable splice because I have photos of it. On top of all of this the technician repeatedly tried to hard sell me a maintenance agreement after I told him I didn't want one. Bob Jensen is no longer a family-owned business. They are owned by a corporation and when you talk to a representative you're talking to a call center. It's apparent that Jensen, under corporate ownership, no longer prioritizes sending out well-trained technicians. They'd rather send a poorly trained tech who prioritizes selling maintenance agreements and then duck responsibility when one of their tech breaks equipment.

We truly appreciated his honesty, kindness, and willingness to advocate for us. Everlast HVAC through 1st American Home Warranty sent someone out in a small car with a small bag of tools. The tech was not able to check for a leak and offered to put in a "stop leak" fluid. I told him that was not a permanent fix and would "gunk" up the system causing more problems. He said he didn't not have the equipment to check for leaks or put in freon and would have to order it. It would take a few days. This senior lady should not have to wait a few days. She does not like to leave her home or her dogs to go to a cool place, and even if she did, it wouldn't help her if she had to returned to the hot mobile home she lived in. She needed an immediate fix. She has a home warranty service through 1st American Home Warranty and they should be supplying proper repair techs not ones that don't have the tools to repair anything. I would not recommend either company. Best 1st American could do is try to find another company to come out on a Sunday. :(
