Quick Respnse A/C advertises as the one call to fix any of your A/C, heating, HVAC issues. Well that's not correct. It turns out that they aren't licensed electricians and to replace a simple fuse block in a A/C blower unit I had to have an another company with a certified electrician come in to fix that problem before they could even look at why my A/C wasn't working. Another expense that if you don't have a service contract home warranty would cost you about $200.00 in additional charges. Thank the Lord for American Home Shield. This little discrepancy in their capabilities cost me another week without A/C, which isn't a big deal unless your on a 24/7 oxygen respirator and 90 degree + heat makes it very difficult to breath. So now the electrician is done. Any bets on how long it will take Fast Response to fix the A/C. I am holding my breath, literally. When a company claims they are the one-stop shop for all your A/C, Heating and HVAC issues, they should have a frigging Licensed Electrician on the payroll.
I wish, for once I could write a positive review of a company sent by American Home Shield. They save you some money, sometimes a lot of money, but sometimes the cost to your sanity and health just isn't worth it. It's messed up but calculating the out of pocket costs compared to the cost of AHS, AHS wins but you have to put up with the lousy service, the lousy people they send (Low Bidders), the extended time it takes to fix anything and the lousy quality of the replacement units they provide. Both my A/C unit and my dishwasher are pieces of junk, but they warranty them. The one they are fixing right now is one they replaced a few years ago.
It's all a big scam to suck as much money out of you as they can. What happened to the Jack-of-all-Trades with the licenses to back it up. Those man and women are gone and everyone is a so called "specialist".
If you don't have to use Fast Response, don't.
They electrician from All Fix Services, LLC was a pro. He had the parts in his van and was done in one hour or so. I should have asked them if they can just fix the whole thing. But I neglected to take advantage of the opportunity.
All I want is a company that I can call that can repair or maintain all the major systems in my home. My A/C, my boiler and electrical issues. It seems that companies like AHS is as close as I'm ever going to get.
There should be a local company that can do the job better, with local resources and a community approach to quality work. Interested in making an honest dollar without cutting every corner to the point of being junk.
