The whole system is fabulous. As is the upgraded electrical panel to 125amps. The old panel was not strong enough to carry the demands of the house. I had breakers always popping off. Other companies who bid on the project said I had to go to 200amp, which turned out to not be true. And I now having air conditioning! Reuven, and the whole team at Clear, were a great with value, follow through, communication, installation, trouble shooting and in letting me know about grants that helped pay for the upgrade. Adrian was very knowledge about the systems that were compatible with my unit, as well as how we could configure the unit to be tucked into the attic and hung onto our back wall (couldn't do the floor since it's an open alley and homeless people are an issue). There was a few delays with getting the product, which was communicated well by Adrian and his team, as well as a phone call was received by the owner. Then, they didn't show up for the service prompting me to call. The public phone numbers I found were disconnected and I had to call multiple numbers to find someone. Finally, they came out and serviced our properties. Next, we had a huge AC issue at one of the locations. When we finally got a hold of someone, they sent someone out diagnosed it, but it took almost a month to get parts and do the repair. Instead of reaching out to us with updates, we had to follow up with them almost weekly. The final straw was another issue that came up and they just ghosted us after multiple text messages. I am not sure the final maintenance was done because no one will call back. good luck with these guys. When they show up, the service seems fine, but getting a hold of them or getting updates was a nightmare

I'm sure this cut some costs with remove/setup, but based on some research this is ideal as the weather can get down below 40 degrees where I live. We went with GVK due to this, the fact he took the time to answer all questions thoroughly and honestly, and they were able to install the next business day; got a quote on Friday afternoon and scheduled me for Monday to install the new system. The price was also very competitive with the other options. We did have a delay in starting as they had a mix-up on install dates and had to postpone one day. However, George called and apologized and offered a discount for the mistake and to charge our current system to help keep the house cool until they came out the next day, which I think reflects how he runs a customer focused business. When he did come out that day I had more questions about the setup and based on our discussion we changed the coil for more flexibility in moving the unit in the attic one day. It was pretty clear that George runs a solid business; he double checked they left no trash after leaving, his workers made sure to set up mats everywhere they worked inside, they let us know when they would be using louder tools (as we have a baby), and they stayed until the unit was fully installed which meant they stayed pretty late. I couldn't recommend them enough. George is really easy to work with, does a great job on the customer side and also steps in to do the work himself which is all reflected in the impressive reviews he has.

I Had Hani GORGIS company install a mini split. When I started using it, it continued to burn out…read morethe outlets because he spliced an ext. cord to connect instead of connecting to my breaker box. I'm not a licensed electrician nor have any knowledge of how this job is suppose to be completed. So after having another electrician look at the job he was shocked to see the fire hazard of how it was connected for power. And mentioned how it was supposed to be connected to the breaker box. And to call them back in to complete the installation job correctly. I was to provide the materials and the technician, Najah Gorgis, was to install the mini split. but instead of explaining what he might need to connect the mini split to the breaker box (which the other electrician who advised me said was suppose to happen) Najah Gorgis asked for an extension cord and wired the unit together hap hazard resulting in outlets burning up when plugged in and causing a potential fire rather than letting me know if additional materials were needed to connect to the breaker box like it's suppose to be. Because of my lack of knowledge in this field, I'm still not sure what all was needed to do the job correctly & safely, but for the record the mini split is only 8 feet from the breaker box and would have gladly ordered or picked up whatever was needed. So in short, if you're looking for a job to be done correctly and safe, these aren't the guys. They don't have your back and will put you at risk for a fire nor will they tell you what is needed to do the job correctly. When I called them back they asked for double the amount of money initially paid for the installation to correct the problem. I'm a single woman and a disabled veteran and it's hard enough surviving in San Diego but I suppose It's a hustle and I fell in it. So not AC for the summer. Choose a better company than these guys if you want a job done safe and correct.
