Called Same Day when my 28 year old AC gave up and so far I have no regrets. Alan was the…read moretechnician who initially diagnosed my issue and explained the challenge, the coolant was no longer legal in CA. Alan was very knowledgeable and I never felt pressured. Concerns with my gas heater led me to decide to replace all. Michael came out to speck a new system. He did a thorough walk through and we reviewed options. I never felt pressured. BTW, this was not through Home Depot. I settled on a Daikin heat pump & return air. The following week Moises and Gilbert showed up to install. In one day they removed my old units and installed new system. It worked great when they left but 45 minutes later an error displayed on my new thermostat. Moises and Gilbert returned the next day and did some troubleshooting. Thought they had found the problem and left with the unit running. Ten minutes after they left it errored out again. Came back a third time and meticulously traced all lines outside, in the attic and under my house. Apparently the drain pipes in my almost 60 year old home were no longer at an adequate angle to properly expell the excess water. I thought I was going to have to engage a plumber. But Moises and Gilbert cleverly solved the problem by installing a small pump on the unit. They did not charge me for this and it was well after 6:00 pm when they left. If not for their tenacity and creativity I'm not sure where I would be. It's well over a week and my system is running great! I'm very happy with my new unit and very, very happy with all the tech's involved, especially Moises and Gilbert!

Our vents were blowing out lukewarm air so we called his company after reading all the excellent Yelp reviews and by recommendations from friends. Oscar came out to add refrigerant to the system and explained that this would be the most economical test first, before doing extensive troubleshooting for leaks, pressure, etc. After 2 nights of running the AC, it didn't fix the problem and my 2yr and 3 yr old kids were up both nights crying from how hot it was in the house (The thermostat said 86 degrees, but it felt even hotter). I called Oscar and he was SO helpful. I could tell that he truly cared. He came over later that day before we had to put our kiddos through another unbearable hot night. He troubleshooted the problem and I am HAPPY to say that we all slept perfectly that night!! He truly went above and beyond, and it shows how willing he is to help his customers. Then we had a similar issue with one of our rental units that we own. Again, he was so accommodating to work with our female tenants and their busy schedules. He fixed the problem and was MORE than reasonable with his price. They really enjoyed having Oscar in their home and that always makes you feel more confident to recommend a safe and respectful company. Buyer Beware!  They don't make good when they make mistakes…read more I am very disappointed with Allegiance Heating and Air.  We have spent about $20K with this company.  We bought a new HVAC and dehumidifier.  We also had them move our air handler and reinstall.  Basically, of all the big things they did almost everything had to be fixed. 1.      A tech came to my house and had only one booty in his van.  He opted to put on one booty and walk in my house with Henry's Roof Tar on the other shoe.  My carpet is permanently damaged.  I paid to have it cleaned and, in order to get reimbursed, I had to sign a release.  $450 is all Allegiance paid for this mistake. I should have never signed that release.  I should have made them replace my stairs carpet which they offered but construction in my house at the time was not an option. The stains return over and over again. Now, they will not compensate me by cleaning my stairs every couple years or comp my air filters for the rest of my maintenance contract, which might cost them at most around $1000 over 10 years and would have made me a happy customer.  I proposed the filters being comped as a courtesy to us and Kassi McCrory, the controller, ignored my follow-up email requesting this after she had told me there was nothing more they could do.  I have no recourse other than to warn other potential customers.  $20,000.00 is lot of money.  Doing business with Allegiance has been a HUGE hassle. 2.     A duct was lying on the attic floor for a whole season. When we had our system installed, the lead tech specifically told the installers how to attach the ducts to the unit in the attic.  They did it the easy and incorrect way.  I did not ask for any money for this expensive mistake as I'm sure it added substantially to my energy bill. The lead tech was very frustrated with the installers as he had been very specific. 3.     The techs could not reinstall our air handler correctly. They were here for 6 hours on a Friday afternoon.  The two issues were low coolant and incorrect electrical hook-up.  These are not difficult to diagnose.  It was during a heat wave and we had to suffer with a low functioning AC for an additional few days due to poor training and lack of skill by their technicians.  The lead tech had to come back and fix it the next week. This service was $1,500. We have been good customers.  We have been patient with all these mishaps but I am livid that they will do nothing to make the stained stairs situation right.  I have covered all of these events with Kassi.  I don't feel heard. I've had about 5 tech personnel visit my home whose work had to be redone. The only capable person was Laurence Calhoun. He had to fix everything. I would not recommend Allegiance Heating and Air.
