SAS and Damien were fantastic from start to finish. I reached out in the middle of a heat wave expecting we'd be waiting a while, so I was honestly shocked when he was able to come out the very same day. He kept us updated the whole time, and his communication couldn't have been better. He was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He got everything repaired quickly, the pricing was very fair, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. I'd absolutely recommend Damien to anyone needing their AC repaired. read more

My ac wasn't keeping up with the heat wave, but I was given a quick and clear explanation of the problem, I was offered a clear solution, and timely fix. Would recommend to anyone! read more

Damien is not only professional, but he's the type of technician that most people look for: Give you the truth on what you need without any fluff or extras that are unnecessary. I only wish he fixed cars too, as I would save a bundle. I have an older AC and he got it going with everything needed. He avoided pressuring me into buying a new one and advised that a tuneup would be fine. If you have an AC problem, please give him a call before getting a new one. He's all about truth. read more

Damien at Superior Air Systems is awesome! We called him and he said he would be out to our house the next day to look at our AC and he was. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes, a freon leak, added freon and we have a cooling working air conditioner now. He's an honest contractor that get the job done. He truely is the AC Whisperer. We will be using Superior Air Systems and highly recommend him. read more

This is the AC whisperer. Damien provides prompt service and he is an expert when it comes to fixing your HVAC. He has a truck with all the tools and parts your unit will need. He is efficient, incredibly talented and very trustworthy. This industry has many providers that will tell you that your unit is not repairable and they upsell you with a new system. NOT Superior Air Systems. They are experts that take pride in proper diagnosis and repair. This company is incredible and their prices are fair for what they do and thousands less since you don't have to buy a new system in most cases. You will be so amazed and satisfied if you use Superior Air Systems. read more

Damien explained everything he was doing to fix my air conditioner in terms I understood. He was on time, polite and I felt comfortable having him in my home. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family! read more

I am very happy I was referred to SAS! Damien was helpful, knowledgeable and repaired my AC within an hour. I had already had a large company in San Diego come out twice and didn't repair! I will only call SAS for future repairs! read more

Damien is an absolute honest guy that makes every attempt to repair rather than replace the heater and ac. I will never use another company for the services he provides. Quick to respond and he is extremely reliable and trustworthy and charges a fair price for the work. I can't say enough good about him!! read more

Damien at Superior Air Systems is amazing. He has now worked on two different homes I own. The first was to add AC to a home that did not have it. He was able to improve the existing heating system improving efficiency and the life of the system and add AC at a price that was extremely competitive. Secondly he serviced a very old AC unit and where other companies said it should be replaced Damien advised making a few parts upgrades should extend the life considerably. Money saved again! The best part of working with Superior Air Systems is they explain things in plain language with the typical contractor run around. There is no pressure just good solid advice and a competitive price. read more

I highly recommend SAS! The owner, Damien is professional, friendly, quick to respond and has reasonable rates. Additionally, he is meticulous and takes great pride in his work. I've referred him to several clients and friends who have also had the same excellent experience with him. As a mortgage lender, I have to be cautious of who I refer my clients to and I never hesitate to refer Damien! read more

Damien has helped me twice with issues with my air conditioning. The first time, a fan had failed, and he took care of getting the manufacturer's warranty to replace it. The second time, I had made an error when I installed a smart thermostat. On both occasions, he discovered the issue quickly, resolved it completely, and explained everything. His price was extremely fair and his service totally professional. I would recommend him to service or install any HVAC system. read more

We just hired and had Damien install a new ac and furnace unit at our home. We had spoken to other ac contractors and received bids. We felt confident immediately with Damien and decided to hire his company. His pricing was very competitive and we could tell that he had a wealth of experience. Damien installed our HVAC system yesterday and we could not be more pleased with his work and professionalism. We highly recommend contacting Superior Air Systems to those in need of ac replacement. It is rare to find a contractor of this calaber. read more

Last week our air conditioner went poof. Black smoke and freon everywhere....I feared the worst had come to pass. I called several people for estimates trying to look at all my options, and Damien from Superior Air Systems stood out among the rest. He noticed things that other 5 star rated HVAC companies didn't even see. He spent time with me explaining everything that had been done incorrectly and how he would fix them. He worked tirelessly getting me 3 different estimates to help me out since it would be an expensive job. He ended up replacing the AC unit, coils, furnace, ducts, and fixing many other things that hadn't been done up to code by the previous homeowners. He was also really patient with my cat who kept attacking the drop cloths that he put down and made sure he didn't get squished by any of his heavy equipment. I highly recommend him for all of your hvac needs. read more

Superior Air was the fourth company I called after more than five years of our brand new HVAC system having constant hiccups every time there was extended heat or extended cooler days. Every time rain was in the forecast, a pit would form in my stomach because I knew our furnace would freak out. The other companies either couldn't figure it out or recommended completely replacing our brand new system. Superior Air figured it out the problem immediately, fixed it and then made sure both our furnace and AC were tuned up to minimize any excessive wear-n-tear. We have not had a single problem since. Damien was smart -- sees the details, sees the big picture, and thinks like a home owner. read more

Damien did a fantastic job fixing our A/C! Of course it went out on a 94 degree day! And he came by on short notice, was very nice and knowledgeable and even cleaned out the A/C for us and fixed the problem very quickly. The price was very reasonable too; with no runaround. Would use him again. read more

Superior, made me a priority in the midsts of the hottest week on two years and when he was swapped!! GREAT customer service and the best pricing I have seen when dealing with heating and air companies!! I will not use anybody else but superior moving forward! Our AC broke when the temperature for the whole week did not go under 107 degrees. I called 14 companies and justifiably so they were all booked up for a week and didn't want to set an appointment. Most companies never called me back. I called Superior, he was booked up like everyone else, but he said he would try to come by and take a look. He called me at the end of his day and came by. We had a leak and he couldn't get to it since the attic temp was outrages. He said he would try and come back the next day. He came back and repaired it!! He responded when he said he would, he showed up when he said he would and he had the best prices!!! Other companies I spoke to, wanted to schedule me a week out and made it a point to tell me that their minimum fee to just come out was 65-85! read more

Damien was awesome. He was professional, efficient and got the job done easily. We needed a repair, he was there the same day within an hour. Great service, worth every penny. read more

Damien was a lifesaver! Our central AC stopped blowing cold air on one of the hottest and most humid weekends of the year. The AC company we normally use said they couldn't fix it because it was an "electrical problem" (turns out it wasn't). Called four other repairmen. Two never came (it was the weekend), the third (from a company constantly advertising on TV & radio) claimed our best option was an all-new $10,000+ system. But Damien came on a *Sunday*, diagnosed the problem correctly, and fixed it the next day at a fraction of the cost. We're dumping those other jokers, and using Damien from now on! read more

Absolutely the most professional and prompt service I have ever experienced by a Heating and Cooling repair company! I highly recommend Damien for any air service needs. read more

Damien replaced two existing furnaces and installed two new air conditioners. We were very satisfied and recommend him strongly. He is a true craftsman. He is very experienced, hard-working, knowledgeable, conscientious, and friendly. He offers great value as well. read more

Damian was amazing. We have had issues with our AC since we moved into our house in March. Another company "fixed" it twice. Yet I ran my AC all day and my house was still 85 degrees. If you are looking for a reliable and quality company to fix your AC/HVAC, Damian is your guy. Completely fixed my AC and my house was cold again in less than an hour!! Fixed multiple issues with the system and I couldn't be happier. He is very straightforward and professional. I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

Our air-conditioning quit on a very hot day and Damien came by the next morning and installed a new unit in a very reasonable time... He was courteous, efficient and did not overcharge us for the unit. I will use him again for any air conditioning needs. read more

107 degrees and our AC died, and I felt like dying from the heat. Damian came over the day I called and repaired our AC in under an hour. He was professional and courteous. Our AC works great now. I would definitely call them again for future repair work! read more

With our lease on a commercial building, we've inherited a nightmare HVAC scenario. A combination of an underpowered/antiquated units and ducts that look like they were commissioned by Sarah Winchester have created a pile of problems. Damien has skipped up a ladder to our roof in the hottest and coldest of weather (he'll actually be up there within the hour... currently 32 degrees). Our unit is so old that parts are no longer available and Damien had actually enlisted the help of a machinist to fashion a part for it from a chunk of metal. Maybe one day the powers that be will decide to replace the machine, but until then we enlist Superior to fight our battles whether it be Wasp nests, funny noises, or worst of all....silence. read more

FANTABULOUS experience working with Damien and his son with Superior Air! Damien has provided maintenance and minor repair work on our existing AC and Heating unit for the past three years. I truly believe it is because of his maintenance program that we didn't have any major problems with our HVAC unit in the past. I highly recommend Superior Air read more

Hot night AC went down, and no one would pick up until we found you guys. Fast friendly service. Damien was nice and helpful, had the parts in the truck. Life saver when its over 100 degrees and your AC goes out. (It was a Saturday came out same day) read more

I was referred to Superior Air Systems by a buddy of mine who manages numerous properties. A year ago, shortly after I bought this place, I noticed that my AC wasn't cooling. I hired a guy to come out and he recharged the system which was very low in freon. He did some leak tests but wasn't very thorough. Just a few weeks ago I noticed I wasn't retting cool air out of the registers. Called on a Monday and Damien responded a couple hours later. Said he could come by late morning of the next day and explained that finding coolant leaks can be difficult. He came equipped with all he needed to trouble shoot the system. Took the time to explain what he was doing and why and also gave me a class in HVAC 101 as I am one who likes to be present and ask questions when I hire a tradesman. He found the leak, repaired it and recharged the system which was low again. Now my registers are providing air 20 degrees below the return air, nice! Spent about 4 hours on my project and added quite a bit of freon for a very fair price. He is new to the San Diego area and relies of referrals for much of his work. I cannot recommend him highly enough and won't think twice in using him again if needed. read more

I have been using Superior Air Systems for many years now. I am a general contractor and often need either repairs, new systems, or need to modify existing systems for my client's projects. Damien, the owner, has always provided great service. The work has always been excellent, and the advice that he offers has been very valuable to both my clients and myself. It is always good to approach a project having all of the facts, and Damien has proven to me that he is very qualified at what he does, explaining the reasons for all of what he does, or recommends. I have never had a problem with any of his installations or repairs, but I know from working with him that he backs up any work he does. I had him do the HVAC for my own home! He also does sheet metal work for roofs and other uses, (crickets, rain diverters, chimney chase caps, etc), Superior Air Systems is the ONLY company that I use for my HVAC and sheet metal needs, on the job, or for my own home. read more

Our air conditioner was going out and we had another company come out to look at it and he told us the compressor was frozen and we needed major work, new unit. We called Superior and Damian and his son Jordan came out and with a few minor repairs in a couple of minutes, they we able to fix it and it's working great! Can not thank them enough. Nice to know there are still some good honest, hardworking people in this world. Will definitely be referring them. read more

A few years ago the contact points on my heat pump froze shut, so I pulled the fuse box so the unit wouldn't explode. I then called Damien at SAS and he promptly came over to make the repair. He replaced the contact points, duel run cap, fuses and added a hard start kit. He was probably here about an hour and the final charge was $764.00. I remember thinking at the time that it seemed very expensive for what he did but he didn't break down the cost of the parts on the repair order either. Probably for good reason because it would have indicated I paid him $500 bucks an hour for his labor. Needless to say, I'm bringing this up now because the outside fan unit on my heat pump expired and I had a friend give me a referral. He works for an a/c company during the day and does side jobs on referral only. Needless to say he replaced that large fan unit and cleaned about 15 years of clogged gunk from the condenser for $325. He was here about 2 hours. I felt so guilty I gave him more than he asked. I realize this rate was very low and not typical but he did mention the SAS sticker on my unit and saw the work that had been done by Damien and when I told him how much I had paid he just shook his head and said he wished he could charge that much...jokingly. So to be fair Damien seemed very competent and professional but if you are looking for a fair rate I would look elsewhere. read more

I recently called Superior Air Systems to check out our HVAC unit at our rental in Loomis CA. They repaired the air conditioning within a matter of hours. I had purchased this HVAC from them some eight years ago. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for their professional and prompt service. read more

I replaced my heat and air system a few years ago. I received quotes from all of the well known HVAC companies. I called Damien as he was a referral from a co-worker. Damien's quote beat all of the others and was for a better unit. He also re-routed some of my duct work to improve air flow to the second story. I was very happy with his work and cost. read more

We recently relocated our business to Rocklin and paid six-figures for a contractor to overhaul an existing HVAC and add a couple of new units. Unfortunately, the contractor left us with systems that generally didn't work properly. After several months and dozens of tech visits, we gave up on the contractor and called Damien at Superior Air. Damien got most systems fully functioning within a day and the remainder as parts became available. We've used Superior Air for service needs frequently over the past 10 years, and this is just another example of why we continue to call them. read more

Our a/c went out this past saturday in 100+ temps. Called Superior Air Systems as they had serviced our a/c approx 5 yrs before. First of all, I got no answer so I ended up calling another company (should have used them from the get-go). Anyways what cost me $283 this time, cost me over $600 with Superior Air Systems five years ago! Also, SAS only changed the compressor and thats it! The other company (for less money) went up in the attic, made sure our a/c was operating according to specs, etc. This guy was thorough. Also, the guy from SAS years ago, left the old compressor (or whatever you call that thing inside the a/c that looks like a soda can) on top of the a/c unit! For months last winter, SAS was hounding me to get my heating and air serviced for a nomial fee. Soooo glad I never took them up on it! I can only imagine how much they would have wanted to charge me for that! I will NEVER use them again! read more
