This summer we noticed that every time the A/C came on, people sneezed. Finally we figured out that…read morethere was dust in the ducts (duh!), and looked around for a highly-rated duct cleaning service. When I contacted them for an appointment, I discovered that it is the same company as Chim Chiminey Sweep, who cleaned our chimney last year and did a great job. So we figured we couldn't go wrong by hiring them to clean our ducts and vents. They came today and did the cleaning. They arrived exactly when they said they would. They were utterly professional. I can't easily look inside the ducts to see how clean they are, but I watched them work and I'm sure it all got very clean. They brought a big red machine labeled "Rotobrush"; it looked like a combination vacuum cleaner and spinning brush. The brush loosened the dirt and the machine sucked it all in, so that none of it came out into the air or the room. They worked efficiently and finished when they predicted that they would. They reported that one of our 16 ducts was damaged and suggested that we call a heating/cooling company to have it repaired. The final invoice was for exactly the estimated amount. I couldn't be happier. I asked them how often we should do this cleaning, and they said "about every 5 years". We have lived in this house for 3 years, but I suspect that the ducts hadn't been cleaned for 20 years. No more sneezing here.

Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. Glen and his crew are THE best. Top notch customer service. Glen really took his time and care with us. Very professional, extremely knowledge, explained everything so well, had plenty of time to ask questions, friendly, spent a good amount of time looking over the whole system to properly diagnose our issue of poor cooling/heating in certain rooms (just to provide a free estimate mind you!), and really worked with us by providing three levels of estimates to fix our issue, so we can get it fixed within our budget. All options were very reasonably priced, no gouging here folks! We went with the middle option, and got a complete redesign and replacement/enlargement of our air ducts, including vents (instead of the entire system, even though we're about due for it, but we're crossing our fingers to try and eek a little more time out of them). The team uncovered some additional issues during the replacement process, and just fixed it for us, no questions asked, no extra charge. They showed up on time, protected our floors with drop cloths, cleaned up everything so well after they left, and really wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. These guys get it! Reputation, ratings, and referrals are everything. If I could give more stars I would. We knew who to call now when it comes time to replace the rest of the system when the time comes, and who to recommend to our friends and family. read more

Glen with Max Air was introduced to us by our Realtor. Glen came out to our newly purchased home late February early March; he was excellent, he explained in detail the system which he would install for us. The home needed a full remodel, it was a full gut job inside and out. 6-months later end of August I was finally able to bring Glen and his crew to start the install of our system. He met with our General Contractor and went over the plans. Glen in every step kept me informed, he consulted with us as the location of the Registers and returns; he was extremely careful and was aware of the fact that the electrician had to position the lights in the ceiling. There were 4-different trades working in the house, electrician, plumber, framing, and demo; Glen is definitely is a good team player. Glen has to come back in a few weeks to install the condenser outside, his work is clean and beautiful; we need to do our landscape/hardscape first. I am happy we chose Max Air. read more

Repair to AC unit not cooling efficiently: I used the websites appointment booking option, this was great as it let me upload images of the condenser unit we were having trouble with. It was also easy to follow and book your time slop and the email communications from that were also a pleasant surprise as they gave you a link to a portal to monitor your account. On the day of the repair once again their communication on when to expect them to arrive was perfect. Glen was very polite and easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions. He also explained what was wrong and probable causes of the fault to help prevent the same thing in the future. After making the repair, stayed to carry out further diagnosis to confirm all issues had been fixed before leaving. Payment system was easy to use and very clear. At no point was there any up selling or scare tactics. Just a good honest interaction from start to finish. I would recommend Max Air HVAC to anyone. read more

Forget the white glove treatment, we got the white carpet treatment. They covered everything in clean white drop cloths from the front door all the way to where the work was done. We had a problem last Friday evening when condensate backed up in our AC system due to a broken secondary line and a primary line that was blocked. The result -- water dripping through one of our smoke detectors, which set off a deafening blast that lasted until I could get the unit detached! I searched Yelp and found that Max Air HVAC had many good reviews. Yesterday our furnace stopped blowing warm air. We called an HVAC company and they sent a young man who was here for more than an hour. He took stuff apart, inspected, used instruments, reported on the condition of our system, etc. The furnace started working again while he fiddled with it. The quote was very fair and we had a fast turnaround, with the system mostly installed on day 1 and finished by middle of day 2 (our home had more complex wiring situation). We opted for an all-electric heat pump since we are on solar. We have noticed how efficient the new system is. It uses half the electricity that our old system did. It's been…read moreworking flawlessly, but I thought it would be good to have them come out for tune-up and cleaning and inspection. The technician arrived exactly when they said he would. He did the tune-up work, changed the filter (it wasn't entirely time for a new filter, but better to have him climbing a ladder than me). The bill was about $200, which seems fair to me. While he was here I had him replace my thermostat with a fancy new one that I can control from my phone. He did that quickly and showed me how to use it. I will certainly call them for my next scheduled maintenance. I am 100% happy.
