When I called them about having our clothes dryer vent inspected and cleaned, I spoke with Davie, who was really friendly and helpful as he described what we could expect during a service call. We made an appointment for the following week. Ricky, the technician who came to our home, arrived early (which was fine with us) and patiently and clearly explained what he was going to do. He showed us the photos he'd taken during the inspection so we could see the potential area for repair. He couldn't fix the problem that day because it would have involved moving our water heater--a major undertaking--but he was able to make recommendations about how we should proceed. He didn't even charge us for the visit or inspection, which was unexpected but appreciated. Our 20+ year old air conditioner is near the end of its life and died on us over the weekend. Ok so this review is like a year out now. I found it in my draft area. -- Ok so it is a couple weeks to a month since Davie and Ricky replaced my Air vents in the attic. My AC was feeling much cooler with fresh vents that were insulated vs the torn insulation mess I had. Then I found a water leak in garage. I thought it was my refrigerator. Luckily it was not but it was my very very old unit in garage. Apparently I had a blockage in my piping so AC water condensation was backing up. Ricky came a day earlier was very respectable and professional. He fixed everything but the laundry was leaking slightly. He put more sealant around. I had my AC back on. Next AM I noticed a little water under the piping in laundry room sink. I touched it and it was wet. I called Davie and just told him it was not a rush but he came anyways. He tightened and he noticed the sealant around the sink drain was leaking. Davie came back out and took a look and explained to me what was happening and I understood it. He was patient and clear as before. I still plan to call him when I need to upgrade the AC unit in here. read more

We just moved into our new home in April and with cool temperatures we did not have to utiilize our A/C. But with temps jumping into the mid-to-upper 80s over the last couple of days, we closed our eyes, gritted our teeth (bye barely affordable energy bill) and flipped the proverbial switch. Within a few minutes... nothing. Waited longer. Zip. The fan would occasionally fire up and some air would blow but our house was definitely not cooling. In fact, the temps were rising due to the way the sun angles its way through all the high ceilinged windows all day long. Long-story short, Davie from Cali Breeze came out, found the problem and unfortunately, had to wait to get approval for 24 hours from our landlord. We hadn't slept in 3 days due to the heat, and due to the delay in approval, it was going to be tough to get the right part in time to make it back immediately. But Davie went above and beyond and wasn't going to let us roast for another night. Needless to say, we're very thankful to have our A/C unit back up and running and couldn't be more satisfied. My call was answered by a real human being, who was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The next day, courteous and professional technicians contact me a half an hour before arriving, and once they inspected, my unit gave me a very professional and technical explanation of what the issue was and offered my options to repair. When the repair was completed, they sent numerous photographs of the whole process. Throughout the whole process, I was kept informed. Both listened intently as I described the symptoms of a very high tech and complicated Goodman AC system built in 2020 (So new!) Another couple companies came out with the usual it's too hard to fix or you need a new compressor. Davi came a day early and trouble shot and reset the system.
