First the positive- The receptionist who answers the phone is very nice and professional The bad- Had them do my home AC Tune up and they sold me on their membership club while doing the tune up $498 cost fo the visit First time I used 1 of my 'mini split' ac units- It did not work (this was several weeks later as I was out of town- the very 1st use after their tune up) They came out and told me my Gobi draining pump on the mini split had to be replaced- $805 w the club discount I called and asked to talk w the owner as this charge was outrageous and they should have credited me some portion due to the fact that my unit worked fine before the "tune up" and did not work after Called the next day- they said she would call me- she did NOT call back I subsequently called a Mitsubishi gold star dealer- their charge $505 Also had their plumber come out to drain my tankless water heater. He told me it was installed imporperly as it needed some extra relief valve- I called the manufacturer and they told me the valve was inside the unit and you don't put one on the outiside- Not Needed I asked him to look at a kitched garbage disposal that had to constantly be turned on as it was not draining properly He said he needed to come back and put in some other line under the sink. I had another company come out and they said it was simply the rubber drainer that was holding back the water and food- no issue w anything else!! In order to replace two appliances in my garage, I needed to install new water supply valves for the washing machine and a gas valve for the dryer. Terry received my urgent call on Saturday, and had two plumbers at my house on Monday morning. They did an excellent job with the necessary replacements, and went above and beyond the call of duty helping me get the appliances ready for use. Called these guys because of good Yelp reviews and the company is in the same city. Noticed a leak around my AC unit the night before. I let them know it hadn't been serviced in a while and probably just needed cleaning. Anyway, they hunted around and finally told me that I needed the coil and condensor replaced and estimated the cost at $5,000. They also said if I wanted to wait they could replace the coolant at $260. I told them no thanks I will get other estimates. In walks George later that afternoon from GUK Heating and air. Changes the filter, snakesvthe drain. Clamps a tube, checks the condenser. Out the door at $165. I think the technicians need some training or did they think that they could pull something like that on me? No thank you. read more

Responsive service with fair pricing! We needed to replace the washer outlet box & valve assembly in the wall of our laundry room in preparation for the delivery of a new washer & dryer set. This typically involves opening up the drywall to facilitate cutting the pipes going to the valves, removing the enclosure, installing the new valve & box assembly, then closing up the drywall. I contacted several heating & plumbing services for quotes, and their prices were at or above the price quoted by Ed, AiRight's technician, but all of them wanted an additional fee to do a basic repair of the drywall that was almost as much as the fee replace the assembly itself. And by basic, I mean replacement of the drywall section that needed to be cut out to remove & replace the existing outlet assembly. Ed was able to keep the drywall removal to a minimum but still replace the assembly. All that's left is for me to do is apply some drywall mud & tape to fill/cover the seam, sand & texture coat it, then paint the repair area - all of which is pretty straightforward. I received several calls, but only a few would give me any type of estimate over the phone. Some of the bids were astonishingly high, even though I told them I had all the parts. I was in a time crunch, as installation of the sink had run late into the week and I needed my kitchen as soon as possible. Terry at Airight Cooling, Heating and Plumbing, Inc. called me back after business hours (within 30 minutes of my request) and asked me a few questions about the job. He quoted me a price range over the phone that was very reasonable, and also told me he could have a plumber at my house first thing in the morning. Chris was the plumber Terry sent. We completely remodeled our upstairs Master Bedroom and Bathroom and could not have had a better experience. Vince Kovac was scheduled for just the plumbing but he is really a master of all. Not only did he complete all the new plumbing and electrical, to include built in shelving, waterfall showers and custom linear drains for the high end finish but all the plumbing for the custom tub. He also pulled out an old window and installed a new one that looks great. Once that was completed his next project he took on for us was the custom 6x4 foot porcelain wall tile that he cut to perfection to make it look like one piece. Next project was the closet. Once again he didn't disappoint and completely re-configured our closets for a single entrance with a Murphy hidden door and provided even better space. He recommended a switch for the lights to come on by movement and turns off automatically and did the same for under our new bathroom sinks. So nice you never have to search for a switch anymore. Lastly, we then asked if he could door flooring. Not to my surprise he said absolutely and laid 1500 feet of new flooring as well as retile the fireplace to match the bathroom and the transition looks incredible. Custom work on each project. He was always on time and worked literally non stop while on the clock. Always cleaned up after each day. Now our Master Sweet to an absolutely beautiful part of our home. My toilet was clogged with bathroom tissue. I tried many times to unclog it myself, but not even the vinegar/baking soda method would work! After checking Yelp reviews, I called AiRight and they were able to send someone within an hour to take care of the issue. The charge was $100, but it was a lot less than an another company that was available that quickly. The tech who did the job was Chris and he was friendly and professional. He said that the work was guaranteed for 30 days, too. He was able to unclog the toilet in about 5 minutes. Yahoo!
