These guys were great! I had a problem with rats in my attic crawl space which cause the house to constantly smell! The inspector Avi showed up took videos and pics and showed me what needed to be done. The removed all old insulation and all AC vents and sealed off the attic completely then blew in new insulation all in half a day with a crew of about 5 people. A great experience! Worked with Avi on a quote. He was fair and suggested a 2 day approach to ensure that rodents did not return after they cleaned and rodent-proofed the attic. Day 1 was removing the old insulation, sanitizing, and rodent proofing. They then left traps behind all over the attic to see if they caught anything. SuperGreen returned at the end of the week, checked the traps and looked for signs of any activity (there was none thankfully) and then they installed R-38 insulation. We bought our house a few years ago and it had poor blown-in insulation and there was a lot of droppings. So a year since we last hired SuperGreen Insulation, we decided to hire them again to clean our garage attic and crawlspace this time. But before that a little update on the status of the previous work. Last year, after the house attic was cleaned and new installation installed, we noticed almost immediately a change in temperature. While I had been informed that the new insulation would help with the excessive heat upstairs, I hadn't fully believed it until I experienced it myself. And while the upstairs is still noticeably warmer than downstairs, it no longer feels like an unbearably hot sauna! We've also had several people go up into the attic since for various reasons, and I've received several compliments for how it looks. One guy even asked me, unsolicited (he was only up there to check for termites), who did our attic insulation since it looked really good. Needless to say, these guys really knew what they were doing, so when we wanted to do our garage attic and crawlspace, I reached out to Ron again without considering anyone else. As before, Ron got back to me fairly quickly, though this time it was Avi who came around for an estimate instead of Ron. To be honest, the estimate was higher than I expected (much higher than the previous work we had done). While I understand the pricing for the crawlspace, since it was a lot of square feet with some fairly tight corners, the garage attic price was surprising, though Avi did agree to give us a discount. The work itself was as good as the first time. A large crew came on time in the morning and finished everything by 3pm. They cleaned up after themselves very well, and our garage looks cleaner than ever now. After having had multiple issues with contractors cleaning up after themselves this year with the work we've been doing around the house, it was refreshing to have a company that left the area completely clean. Another thing I did like too is that the crew let us check out the attic and crawlspace after they were done, before they sealed everything. Where to start? Avi was amazing and really pursued my business. His response time was impeccable and I was grateful for his patience as I slowly decided what to do. Avi was very straightforward and direct. I requested a quote through a couple of different companies and Avi's was right in the middle for pricing. He also gave me an additional discount to be competitive with the other quotes (always important to do your homework). Out of the different folks I had a quote from, he was the most professional, showing me pictures of the current status of my attic and telling me exactly what the crew would do. We did have a small scheduling hiccup but he called and promptly rescheduled which was fine by me as I was in no rush. The crew came out and did a great job, I was able to go up myself and verify the work and they gave me an email with the before, in progress, and after pictures. I've noticed my home keeps temperatures a bit better now. My only small gripe is that there was a light fixture that was pushed out, they hastily applied something on it which was still visible, but I was able to wipe out the excess so it wasn't a super big deal. My old home had no insulation so I was pricing insulation installation and considering if I could get it installed before the end of the year to qualify for energy efficiency tax credit which ended in Dec. Avi from SuperGreen came to inspect my attic and give me a quote. I appreciated that he took pictures of the attic and carefully explained the installation procedure. I could see there was a lot of debris left over the years by other workers who fixed my air conditioning, roof, electrical, etc. I even had rodent proofing previously, but Avi said there were areas that needed to be sealed. Instead of just quoting a price based on the total square footage of my house (available online as other companies did), he did not include a section of my front porch that had no attic. He shared that their installation team are not sub-contractors and are trained by the company. He was able to squeeze me into the schedule and the 3 man team arrived on time.
