Outstanding service, The experienced team arrive right before 8am, my family was notified a week before the start of the job and a day before they arrived. This was a pleasant experience in a house with children under 5 years. About he job: the house is over 40 years old with , very old foam and batts covered by plywood. The team of 4 experienced men, climbed up all dressed in safety gear and masks ,they quickly and safely removed the plywood on 900 sqft, then vacuumed out all the dirt..they then sealed many holes with a special foam, added galvanized nets to protect from rodents .they then sanitized the attic before laying the full attic with brand new R38 fiberglass clean looking insulation. I had a reputable company make an appointment this Friday to get insulation installed in my attic, the day of, they said they could not make it out I ended up canceling them from the job. My house's air ducts in the attic have been neglected for years. There are leaks ever which ways so no A/C was coming down to the house. Rather cold air was cooling the attic. Also I had mice issues. There're noises in the attic and it's very annoying. I was glad that I found Tito and his team. His son Jairo does most of the communication and his father Tito provides the expertise in the area. First, I had them remove all the old insulations and rodent proof the place. Then I waited for a month just to be sure these ****ers are not there anymore. It took a full day and five men to clean out my attic. They filled a truck load of old insulations, mice droppings, and other dirt that accumulated over the years. Tito provided the lowest price after shopping around on Yelp, Google, and CL. He sealed the attic holes with foam the prevent mice coming in and stapled wire mesh as well. After one month I don't hear any more mice noises in the attic! I'm not sure where they come from but it's not in the attic any more. After a month, I worked with Jairo and he and his team came and installed new air ducts. They did a professional job tying all air ducts above floor and cutting right size of air ducts for efficient air flow. Overall, I'm super satisfied with Jairo and Tito's services. They were easy to talk to and did a professional job. Also, they cleaned after themselves and workers were no scary looking. (You just never know what kind of men are hired for this job). I give JH Rodent Insulation 5 stars because of their work ethic and determination to get the job done in 1 day no matter how hot the weather is and obstacles that occurred during the job. Let me start with their work ethic first. Tito the guy who seemed in charged of the job and his 2 workers got at the scheduled time on time! I do not know about you but I do not know many companies that arrives exactly on time to start the job even though it was over 90 degrees outside. After showing up they quickly started to cover their walkway from the entrance of the house to where the attic is with the plastic sheets including the walls, doors and our alter was covered so it will not get dirty. They even took the time to make a wall with the sheets so they could have their privacy when working. They even update you of what they are doing constantly. Once Tito and his 2 workers finished, they took their time to clean up all the plastic sheets and any kind of mess they made. The workers even took the initiative to spray down our drive way with our water hoes after everything was put away in their truck. I do not know many workers who's work ethic is like this, so color me very impressed! But right before they left, I checked all the lights just in case they all still worked and there was 1 that did not work. So I told Tito and he apologized then immediately got with someone took come over the same day and fixed it without extra charge because he understood it was his fault and he took care of it. The workers are very determined to get the job done because not once I heard them complain about the heat, and they took 1 lunch break in the over 90 degree weather but in the attic it's actually close to 120 degrees. Even when the workers insulation vacuum machine broke down they were still determined to get the job done. Now typically especially in that heat, when something like that happens the workers would pack up and call it a day and come back some other time when the machine is fixed to complete the job. I am extremely happy with JH Rodent Insulation. I installed a new Heat Pump on my roof. To do this properly, the old duct work and old insulation needed to be removed. There were far too many rat dropping and I had an active rat problem. JR Rodent Insulation removed the old ductwork and the old insulation and they sealed the entry points where the rats were coming into the attic. Once the new Heat Pump and ductwork was in place they installed R19 insulation in the area where the attic space was limited and R30 where possible. Now the temperature in the house remains warm on cold days and cool on hot days. This is an amazing team - they are organized, clean and friendly. I highly recommend their services. read more
