I used Progressive Insulation to insulate my home in 1990, when I was building it my house as an owner builder. The framing crew, when they finished, told me that are almost always followed by Progressive Insulation. So I gave them a call and had them insulate my house. Recently I converted my garage from an unconditioned garage to an insulated one. I called Progressive again and Kyle came out the same day. They insulated unvented cathedral ceiling in my garage with 1.5 inches closed cell foam with an additional 8.5 inches of dense R30 batt insulation to achieve a total R-value over 40. I took before and after IR measurements of my roof decking when the sun is beating down on it and already see a temperature change from 104 to 85. My air handler is located in this space, so it should save electric on my AC. The garage is also much more comfortable to work in now. The crews left the job spotless. read more

I initially reached out to Progressive as I was interested in replacing the last 2 windows and 2 sliding doors in my house that the previous owner did not get done and I wanted Amerimax as thats what I put in my last house, I was happy with them, and Amerimax had them listed as a supplier on their website. Well, in a turn of events, they are actually the company who had done all the previous windows and doors in the house for the last owner, so I was able to find out what brand/quality was installed. They no longer carry Amerimax due to a decline in quality, and steered me towards Milgard as a good alt option. Anyways, 2 of my 4 units required some customization as I did not want the standard. They listened to me and built out exactly what I wanted. The order arrived almost a month earlier than anticipated and they were able to schedule install for the next day after arrival. The install guys were great, took their time, and made sure everything was level and working properly. I highly recommend stopping in here and having them quote out your next window or door project, they'll listen and actually come up with what you want. read more

Progressive did a great job for our neighbor who then recommended them to us. Our vintage wood windows were not in great shape and the rest of the house had some cheapie 1980s sliders. Also they were not double paned and we were looking for a quieter, more energy efficient home. We saved up the big bucks and went for Milgard Trinsic replacement vinyl windows. Our salesman, Scott walked us though the choices and met with us twice to answer all of our questions and make suggestions. He worked with the city to get our permits - not the easiest with Glendale. It was close to four months between when we paid our deposit and the 22 windows were installed. The actual installation was quick - only took 2 days. Everything went smoothly, the workers were great. Exceptional experience from sales meeting with Eric Fisher to install with JC and his team. I received bids from 5 other top companies in the area, I chose PI&W because the product was comparable to another local company that manufacturers it's own. The quality of Amerimax is everything I hoped, my younger brother used them too, he's ecstatic over the product and install. Install crew was amazing, they covered everything in sight with plastic, then covered the floor area where they'd be working as well. We hired Progressive to replace all of the windows and the sliding glass door in our home about six years ago - they did a great job. But they haven't stopped there... I recently cleaned the windows and couldn't get a couple of them to go back in properly so they were stuck. I called and spoke to Isaac and rather than sending someone out so they could make money, instead he quickly emailed me a link that showed me how to get them back in place. And he also sent me a replacement part for another window - along with another simple video. Three minutes later everything was working as it should. Congratulations to Progressive for both presale and installation. The presale presentations and support were excellent, providing detail and, when requested, in-shop demonstration. When it came time for installation, the team was able to adjust to my schedule without problem. The installation team was courteous, prompt, and efficient. Their attention to detail was great. They came wearing masks. As an added bonus, they were able to reinstall all of my vertical and horizontal blinds, avoiding my having to quickly get replacements. Honestly, after reading some of the reviews here.. I'm actually really sad to be writing this one.. I'm giving this place two stars because the manager did help us finish out what we needed to, and the quality of product was good. With that being said, this was quite possibly one of the worst sales experiences I've ever had, and our sales rep was probably the absolute worst person I (and my team) have ever worked with. We were given the reps information by a client of ours where we were getting all the interior doors to a house and he seemed very nice and knowledgeable. So, we called him and had him go to another build of ours to measure and order all the interior doors, and then another project for a couple custom closet doors. It all seemed A-OK, but upon delivery of the doors the sizing for the door jambs was wrong on MULTIPLE doors, we had a few improperly sized doors, wnd when we called our rep he REFUSED to take responsibility for it despite the fact that he measured. (Not to mention the fact that we had made an appt with him to meet him for that original measure and as a member of my team was driving to meet him at the agreed time he called and asked for the gate code because he was an HOUR early and didn't want to wait for her to arrive even though she was headed for the AGREED appointment time, which right then should've been a clear indication that this guy had very little respect for others and their time.) After bringing this to his attention, he told us that the jambs only went up to certain size and the jamb sizes we needed were larger than the max offered so that just was what it was, and that if we had them install it then it wouldn't have been an issue and they'd of taken care of it, but since they didn't install them it wasn't his problem and we were S.O.L. I was literally in shock at the response. I will spare you the further details of this interaction. I ended up calling and speaking with the manager and fought with him until he realized it was my name on the invoice NOT my clients, then all the sudden his tone changed and he was willing to help us since they were in breach of their own contract. This ended up being a NIGHTMARE to get it fixed and resolved. We then had another nightmare with the closet doors for our other project where our sales rep clearly didn't give a single **** about us or communicating with us properly. If I had less class I would post the email correspondence with this guy so people could see the way he spoke to us and how rude and condescending he was and the actual multiple insults he put in WRITING to us. The manager helped us finish it out AFTER I forwarded him the entire email chain so he could see everything I mentioned above and that what we purchased was literally exactly what the rep told us to get. Overall, the product was good but this was an absolutely horrific experience with one of the worst sales people I've ever worked with and a manager that doesn't hold his team accountable for their actions. I wish I could say we would give this place another chance and I will never say never, but I actually did ask the manager for a new sales rep that we could trust and he didn't want to give us one, which made it pretty apparent that he didn't care to keep us as continuing clients. Rashaad, project manager, and Pedro Pedrazza were great and his crew who came out did a beautiful job. Their communication and followup is excellent. I had an issue with my electric panel being in the way and they were able to work very carefully around it. Even in the rain they managed to clean up and cover the new stucco with plastic so it didnt get damaged. Looks beautiful. I would advise anyone getting windows to have it done while you are at work. I was home recovering from surgery and for 3 days it was very noisy, while the windows are out depending on the weather it can be really cold or hot. And make sure to have your animals at a doggie day care. Highly recommend. read more

Progressive's bid was the lowest but they had the highest reviews on both Angie's List and Yelp. They showed up on time for both the measuring appointment and the installation. 8:30, Jorge and his crew arrived. Super polite and responsive, they set to the installation of six windows and two sliders. They put down tarps everywhere and over everything. By 1:00 they had windows in and were almost done with the sliders. By 6:30 they had the whole job done, which included all the moulding, which they gave a quick coat of high gloss white paint to. They cleaned up everything, put anything they moved back in place and left the house almost cleaner than when they started. Jorge when over everything with us and made sure were were satisfied. I am an owner/builder and therefore don't have the contacts and experience of a general contractor. When shopping for a Company to do my insulation all I could do was a web search and get a few estimates... Their Sales Rep Dwayne made the decision to go with Progressive one of the easiest I've had to make. He was polite, on time, and extremely knowledgeable, without being overly "Sales-sey". He was extremely thorough in conforming to the building plans and answering any questions or concerns I had. I wish I could say that about the other companies I entertained. Dwayne really excelled later in the process when I had some changes to the scope of work. I remember calling him late on a Friday evening and yet Dwayne dealt with it right then - giving me all the options and following through... over and above expectations. The mechanism Progressive has in place for quoting, job agreement and scheduling is very clear and simple, backed up by a responsive office staff. The crew that came to do the job were prompt, polite and very professional. I was blown away with how quickly they were done, without cutting corners. They left the worksite clean and tidy. I can only speak on the insulation portion of the company that was recently completed on time and with the amazing help of Jose and Beto from Progressive Insulation & Windows. I am not an easy person to deal with when it comes to work being done in my home. I am extremely critical and I want the best. We had Progressive Insulation come out and give us a quote to insulate a complete remodel we are working on. They gave us a good quote and fit us into their schedule which fit our timeline. They showed up on time, and amazingly completed the entire job in 2 days. At the end of each day, when we walked the job site, we were extremely pleased to see all the detailed things they did like filling every crack and crevice with spray foam prior insulation going in. We heard from our friends that they used progressive for their windows. So we got an estimate and it was maybe a bit higher than other bids from "contractors " but we are extremely happy with the whole process. They definitely keep communicating with you through the whole process. Isn't communication key to any company for success. We knew the timeline with the ordering and making of the windows we got calls about installation scheduling. Not once did we have to track down the company and find out what was happening. The peace of mind from the first step from ERIC giving us the bid, to the clean, perfect install by Jorge and his team. They protected the house covered all my stuff. Put multiple layers of protection. They cleaned up after the job. We were ready with a vacuum and rags to dust and clean, to our delight we didn't have to clean or wipe anything. I even did the white glove on the window seals, yep they wiped that too. The crew were professional and careful and along the way the foreman Jorge told us what they were doing and why and what to expect. And encouraged us to ask questions. The peace of mind that the job is done right and the house to be air tight especially during hot days. This review is almost 2 years past due but because of family illness and death I kept putting it off and I greatly apologize for that. In March, 2020, I contacted Progressive after finding out Exodus, a company I hired to install a sliding door in the early 2000s was no longer in business and that the owner now works for Progressive. On a Sunday evening I had a problem closing the door by about 12 inches and left a frantic message on their voicemail. It probably seems silly but it was winter and I had an elderly parent living with me so I was very concerned with the cold even though I did everything I could to cover it up. Before end of business on Monday Progressive came out and fixed the (thankfully) very simple problem and asked for nothing in return. What more can anyone ask for?
