I had single garden window which needed to be replaced to regular vinyl window. Called around for estimates, however, most co will only accept if more than 3 windows needed to be installed. I was able to get few estimates n I chose to proceed with Finely. Kerri n Chad as a sister/brother team is pleasure to work with. Chad came out and assessed the work needed n gave a reasonable estimate. Once window was delivered, I was called to set up the installation date and was advised that it would be 2day job. Chad and his partner came and went right to work. Completed first days work and returned next day to complete stucco job which was needed since window frame needed to be replaced as well. All the work was done with precision. Even though the window was on the second floor and we have solar panels, they covered them with plastic then with tarp to protect them while working on the roof. Inside room was covered with painters plastic although it wasn't very dusty. Just shows care for details. When the work was completed, Chad and his partner left work area meticulously clean. I have a business that is in an old building, and many doors needed to be corrected from overall use and time. Chad came in and was nice to work with, and was able to fix some pretty complicated issues either with doors jamming or not closing properly. He also listened to my unique needs and was able to help get a manufacturer to make a special order double thumb turn lock for several of my doors. He also installed a new door and window in which he cut into a wall, one side having a mural. If you looking to purchase a new door then this is the company for you. I highly recommend them. My mom was looking for a new front door so we searched on Yelp and contacted a few companies that had good reviews. Out of the several companies we contacted this one was the most responsive. They answered all of our questions, then set up an appointment to measure the door and they arrived on time. After we picked and order the door some unusual heavy rains occurred so my mom wanted to wait until after the rains to install the door. The company said no problem they could keep the door in their warehouse until we were ready. After several months we scheduled the installation. They again arrived when they said they would and did a great job installing the door. We decided to paint the door ourselves. So I removed the hardware and painted the door. When I went to reinstall everything, I had an issue with the deadbolt. We called them and they came out and took care of it. Now the company had already been paid for everything and our check was cashed so they didn't have to help us but they did. Everyone that works there is very nice and very helpful. We ordered 2 French Doors through Finely Finished and had them installed over the past two days. I cannot recommend this. company enough. While the doors did take a while to be manufactured, I have to say, they are well worth the wait. The doors are more beautiful than what I imagined, and they have a weight and heft that befits their cost. You get what you pay for, and even though the quote of Finely Finishes was a bit higher than any other quote, it was worth the money. Dealing with Chad and Kerri is a delight. Chad managed the install of the doors, and he came when promised and left our home spotless when he left. He gave us instruction on how the doors function and they are so beyond what we imagined. And he's just a nice guy, to boot. Kerri handled our payments and coordinated the installation and kept us informed of where we were through the process. Reached out to Finely Finish based on reviews, glad I did. Spoke with Keri and let her know what I was looking for and set up an Appt for an on site. The tech showed up, I think his name was Chad, on time and was very friendly. A few days later I received the quote from their office as promised. I wasn't stunned by the price nor was I over the moon but considering todays inflated costs, I would have to say it was fair. I struggled with which design I was going to go with and a Keri was understanding through the process. I called to let her know what style I wanted to go with and paid the requested deposit. About a week later I changed my mind and called her back and she was very agreeable to reaching out to the manufacturer and try to get that changed for me, she was successful. Product came in within the time frame that was stated (about 4-6 weeks) but took nearly 2 weeks beyond that for the install as they seem to be busy. Chad arrived with another installer and completed the project in less than 4 hours. Their work was thorough, neat and complete. I'm sure I drove them up the wall with all the questions I had while they were installing but they handled themselves very professionally. I'm so glad to have found Finely Finished! I know nothing about doors (like types of hinges or having it painted or stained), and Kerri walked us through the whole process. I also like how she pointed us to the sites where we could choose the doors and doorknobs to get quotes on and made suggestions based on what we liked. Any confusion or worry I had, she was able to clear up. I'm grateful for her patience and understanding. Chad came by to do the initial measuring, right on time and also very friendly. As you can see on other reviews, Chad is the BEST. He actually came out to our house few years back when we had backyard door lock issues. Chad came out, he looked around, and explained that nothing needs to be fixed but we just didn't know how to operate the door system. My husband and I were so touched by how kind and patient Chad was during the whole process and he did not even charge us a single dime. He said he is happy to help and he did not need any service fee. Who does that? So, we gave him a small tip for his trip and great work. I received a quote from Finely Finished back in 2019 for three different doors - my front door, back doors, and a bedroom door. I delayed in pulling the trigger but Kerri walked me through the process step by step and she is truly amazing. Then, we paid the down payment and had Finely Finished order our doors in February. Then, in March, as everyone knows, Coronavirus pandemic hit. I was pregnant and in my third trimester with a high risk pregnancy at the time so I asked Finely Finished if they could keep our doors for us in the warehouse until the pandemic was over. At the time, I thought it would be over in a couple of months. Well.... Kerri and the "fine" people over at Finely Finished kept our doors for SIX MONTHS and we finally scheduled a time to have our doors done last week (in September)!!!!!!! It was obvious that this pandemic isn't going to be over anytime soon so we might as well get the work done. I was probably a nightmare client. Asking the doors to be placed in their storage for six months. Requesting that everyone wear masks at all times. Locking myself in a room and refusing to talk except via phone conversation. But with a newborn in the house you can't be too careful. Well, Chad and Kerri treated me with respect instead of like I was a crazy person. Chad was very kind and communicative and he did a really really great job on the doors. They look great. He worked fast and efficiently but the quality looks great. I had tried to fix these doors before with what I can only call a scammy contractor and spent basically the same amount of money trying to fix the doors and I really wish I had found Finely Finished in the first place and used them to replace the doors. (Lesson learned!). If you are looking to repair doors or windows, I can't recommend Finely Finished enough. It's a family owned business and they treat you with respect and courtesy AND they really know their stuff. I'm very happy with what was the biggest project we've had done on our house since purchasing it five years ago. I make my living as a sliding door repairman. I have been referring my customers here for decades when they have a door that can not be repaired and needs replacement. Because some of the handles and locks have become unavailable for older doors, Finely Finished saves the hardware off the doors they remove for me. I really want to give this company a 5 star rating. They came highly recommended from the Neighborhood App, and when I checked them against Yelp, they seemed like the right company with a 5 star rating. The ordering of the door was actually a very smooth process, but that is where the 5 star rating ends. Where do I even start? I ordered to door in mid July (July 20) and as of today the door has yet to be installed (Oct 15th). After waiting over 7 weeks the door finally arrived for installation (Sept. 24), but after carefully looking at it, it was the wrong door. The installation person apologized and said that they would rectify to situation ASAP. I thought I would at least get a phone call from the company the following day, apologizing for the mistake, and giving me an update, but no such luck. I had to reach out to them several days later by email, and finally someone got back to me, with a half-ass apology and no sense of urgency, and placing the blame on the door maker. Before transporting the door to my house, it should ave been inspected by the company( I have email). I had to cancel several other individuals that were going to do additional work on my house, after the door was installed (ie painter and floor installation). I should have gone with Home Depot quote instead. I would think that after the mistake a company that comes highly rated, they would have done something to make it up ( ie discount), but nothing like that happened. I missed a day from work for the door to be installed ( I could have used the day to spend with my family). The only reason they didn't give them a two star rating was Chad and the other employee that installed the door. They were very professional and did a great job installing the door, once I got it( Oct 30). Yes, ladies and gentlemen, from July 20 to Oct 30 it took, for me to finally get my doors (over 14 weeks). I can honestly say I would not recommend this company to anyone, and will also put it on our neighbor app, so that the individuals that recommended them can be aware.
