Throughout the entire process, Leo was patient and was very responsive to all my texts and questions There were times that I felt he was just telling me something in order for it to fit the materials they had (I had already done a ton of research online and had a general sense of what I was looking for). As a salesperson, do I blame him, not really but I would have appreciated if it hadn't happen; though, I wasn't going to toss out the entire relationship because of that. Leo ultimately assisted me in getting to where I wanted to get, with all my tens of questions For installation, they came and efficiently installed the shades. I was so surprised how quickly they worked. One of the windows' shades looks like the shade material might be loose (curvature in the shadow that comes through). I was extremely impressed with Lia. She arrived right on time, surveyed my home, and showed me various sample fabrics. And she made suggestions, which helped me. I found Lia to be extremely warm, friendly, and professional. Because I wanted total black out, Lia suggested perhaps I should go with motorized shades. We wanted to install new motorized blackout shades in our new house so we visited a couple local shade stores in LA. I went to Master Blinds office and they showed us few of their shade options and fabrics. We setup an in home appointment and David came out to take measurements. Their quote was a fair price and we went for it. After a few weeks the shade finally came in and we schedule for installation. David and the installers came right on time and installed all shades in about 2 hours. After they left I realized that my kitchen pantry door hits the roller whenever we try to open it. I am not at all surprised to read all the good things other people say about Master Blinds (***for disclaimer my good friend recommended David and Master Blinds and I did not found them on Yelp) I had motorized shades in five different rooms designed and installed by Master Blinds about a year ago (sorry it took me a year to write a review:) and they were excellent in every aspect. Motorized Shades: I'm very happy with all of the shades. All 13 shades look amazing and modern, operate well (with the motorized parts), and do what they were designed to do. In particular the blackout blinds we had installed in our bedroom completely block out basically all light (99%). The light-filtering blinds in the other rooms block out just the right amount of light, and are full privacy so no see through. Consultation: Excellent. David came by for the consultation. He was chill and friendly and also really knowledgeable. He gave us good suggestions for what we might want in each room and even brought samples of different materials. His suggestions were great and led to the end result that I'm super happy with. Installation: Also excellent. The installers were fast and efficient. The install took under 8 hours complete for all 13 shades. Lead Time: Very happy with this as well. Was originally quoted 6-8 weeks but was actually able to get the install done slightly faster than that. (3 weeks) Price: Not the cheapest (for sure not the most expensive) but 100% worth every penny. Recommendation: If you are looking for motorized shades, I highly recommend Master Blinds! read more

Asked for a quote for nursery room drapes. Just simple black out drapes. They came and saw my house in west hollywood and decided to give me a quote for $7800!!!! I already had a few quotes for the same job from different companies and all other quotes were well below $3000!!! Very unethical! Update: Your reply to my comment is very condescending. Obviously I'm not seeking to get curtains from amazon or home depot as they would cost only a few hundred. I have worked with high-end designers to decorate my house and you know so well $8000 for simple drapes to cover one window in one room does not just reflect the "good quality of your work"! My husband and I have moved quite a few times over the years and have used different shade companies, all of which resulted in terrible experiences and unhappy, low quality results. After our friend told us about Master Blinds, we decided to give it a try. From the first phone call, David was extremely professional and responsive.
