I had Sherwood Shutters put plantation shutters inside my home 30 years ago and the original seller went out of business. Some shutters had paint peeling so I contacted Shutters and More to repair and repaint them. My experience was fantastic and they did much more than I expected and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!! read more

Highly highly recommended. David came out, measured, understood exactly what I wanted. Delivered a bit early, thankfully. And Adolfo did a beautiful installation. Pros from the first call through completion. The shutters keep out heat and sun and made a stunning difference. read more

I hired Shutters and More to install shutters for two bay windows. I got pricing from several other companies and theirs came in the most competitive. During the initial visit they came out to take measurements. I let the employee know that I specifically wanted the mid rail of my shutters to line up with the mid rail of my windows (they are the type that slide up to open) so he took extra care to make sure everything matched up. A few weeks later they returned to install the shutters. I've had them for about a year now. I recently called them for a warranty repair (a couple of the frames were rubbing together, likely due to settlement) and they came out within a week and fixed them free of charge. Overall just a very solid experience. They're a responsive, no hassle company and their products are well priced and good quality. read more

This review is a little late, but I want to share that this company installed plantation wood shutters in my living room in July 2009. They have held up beautifully. They still look new. I only had issues with the plastic hardware cracking and needing to be replaced. I called the office and asked about the cost of just the hardware. To my surprise, the person I spoke with didn't ask how many pieces were broken; he asked for my address, and a few days later I received the hardware. The replacement hardware he sent was generous. Now, that's what I call exemplary customer service and satisfaction!! I will call again soon for another quote. read more

We contacted Shutters & More on 8/17/23 to request custom made shutters for our guest room. We had ini blinds in there previously and they never fit right, didn't close all the way and were just horrible. Shutters & More came out and measured the window and provided us with a very reasonable estimate for their custom made shutters. Fast forward to exactly 5 weeks later and they called to see if we'd be home today (9/29/23). They came and took down the old hardware & installed the new shutters, and did so within 24 hours of the call. The shutters are just lovely, perfectly measured and so well made! We are very happy with this company and the work they do!!! We will definitely use them for our kitchen and other bedroom shutters. read more

From my first phone call, to the completion of my shutter installation, Shutter's & More was fantastic! They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, kind, and delivered an exquisite product! My parents had hired this wonderful company for their home, many, many years ago. I hired them for shutters for my home in Woodland Hills, in the early 2000's. They were so great then, that I decided to use them again, for the home that I just purchased in Camarillo. David was exceptional! Everything he said that he would do, he did! Perfect measurement, gorgeous product delivered! Antonio did the installation. He was considerate, professional and thorough. A true expert. I highly recommend Shutter's & More. They are the best of the best! read more

A max of 5 stars? I called after no response from a Yelp provider listed ahead, thinking this was a chain or a franchise. The phone receptionist was exceptional; reminded me of the level of service that was provided in the old days. An appointment was quickly scheduled and Claude was right on time and got the specs and the estimate (very fair) done quickly. We lost our home in the recent fire and the house we moved into had no shutters, drapes, etc. The work got done quickly in 2-3 weeks (a lot of shutters) and better than the phone receptionist and Claude was the installer Antonio. He is da bomb! High quality product and we're now living in a very pretty little house... with some privacy! Beyond highly recommended! read more

Shutters and More has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with at every step... from the estimate, installation, and any repairs if ever necessary. This is how all businesses should be run! Aside from the fact that these quality shutters are Made in the USA, I would say a big reason why you should go with them is that they take obviously take much pride in their work, and any warranty claims are dealt with very promptly and without any hassles. Shutters are a huge investment, so knowing that Shutters and More will always stand by their product should put your mind at ease! There's a reason they've been around since 1966! read more

This company does first rate, highly polished work. Very friendly and prompt, and the all-important craftsmanship is top-shelf. From Claude, the initial contact, to Antonio, the installer, the work was done promptly and very professionally. And their prices are very reasonable! From first contact to install, I had a great experience with Shutters and More. Decided to upgrade to shutters when our Hunter Douglas blinds were deteriorating after only a few years of use. Wish I had invested in shutters from the start. Such an improvement. read more

This is an excellent company for shutters in this area. We liked Shutters and More for its long history and experience. The staff (David and others) were so friendly and helpful, making the whole process stress-free. We got our shutters in time and everyone in the family said, "wow," many times over. My favorite is the sliding shutter door in the bedroom. Thank you for making our home so much more enjoyable. read more

Claude came out to measure for new closet doors in the guest room and master bedroom. I received the estimate right away and he told me it may take up to 12 weeks for the product to arrive for install. I was in no hurry so that was fine with me. I decided to replace the guest room closet doors. Claude contacted me in 11 weeks to say the items were in and to schedule an install date. Antonio came out [on time] the day of the install, worked diligently and completed the install in an hour. By the way, they remove and discard your old doors for you which was a major plus for me. I could not be more happy with the quality of the doors and the installation work. I'm extremely happy I chose Claude with Shutters and More. read more

I just used Shutters and More for the second time and once again am completely happy with their work, timing, professionalism and price! In fact I have just ordered shutters for the rest of my home. These guys actually make the shutters and install them, not farm it out. It reflects in both their workmanship and pricing! Highly recommend! read more

This company is head and shoulders above all other shutter companies! Their quality and beauty is spectacular and amazing! They are beyond expectations! Even though they are not the least expensive, they are totally worth it and clearly a superb product! This is a multi-generational family business. Claude, the owner was responsive and considerate with the payments! David is the knowledgeable courteous caring sales manager and representative. It was very reassuring to see him re-measure our windows, several times, in order to be accurate and meticulous! David also participated in the shutter installation, personally! Antonio was also meticulous and focused with the installation! They did a fabulous job! After waiting for several weeks for the shutters, I saw the tremendous quality of these shutters... Beyond any other shutters that I have ever seen! There were a couple of minor details that I wanted to adjust and David immediately agreed to resolve those issues for me! He had a very positive attitude, every step of the way! Both my wife and I continue to appreciate and enjoy these shutters, more and more each day!! Everyone who has seen them, are really impressed by their beauty, quality and luxury! Everyone went the extra mile, especially David! We love our shutters, immensely!! The fit and movements are perfection! BTW...we had every window in our home done and we're so happy that we did that! Both my wife and I give this company our highest recommendation!! J. We used Shutters and More 20 days year ago at our old house and loved their work. We moved to Wood Ranch recently and David and his crew did exceptional work again as always. After the shutters were installed on all the windows and sliding doors, we decided they looked so nice that we needed to replace the old doors and windows. This caused some measurement changes and need for removal and reinstallation of the shutter doors, but David very graciously assisted in solving the issues and re-installed the shutter doors quickly at a very reasonable price. Their service and products are second to none. read more

Over 25 years ago I had beautiful plantation shutters with leaded glass installed in my house in Woodland Hills. When I recently moved to Camarillo, I wanted those shutters again but couldn't remember where I got them. Thank goodness for Google. Sure enough, Shutters And More is still in business and I have my beautiful shutters again. They do such a superb job. Beautiful wood--not that heavy pressed stuff. Their shutters are built on their site and the installation in my home was perfect, and I know that they will be just as beautiful in 25 years from now. Thank you Dave and team! read more

After 20 years, our shutters still look amazing! The workmanship and quality is true perfection. David just replaced our rollers on our slider and also replaced the magnets on all of the windows. Our family had an unusual request: Shutters with vertical slats instead of horizontal ones. We had these installed on a few windows years ago, but that company no longer offered this style. My mom called a half dozen or more shutter companies and was finally referred to Shutters and More. They happily listened to her request and said they could do a the job (while other companies looked at her strangely and dismissed her request.) What's more, the price was reasonable and competitive. A crew came to measure our windows one day, 3 or 4 weeks later they came back to dry fit the shutters, and a week later they came back with the shutters painted and ready to be installed. They fit perfect and look FANTASTIC! They even had to notch one for a built in cabinet, and it looks great. The crew was professional, efficient, polite, and tidy. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for unique (or standard) window designs. read more

They really are worthy of the great reviews they get on Yelp. Called and left a message. Got a response the next day. David came out, measured, discussed, and priced. Color selected (various shades of white!). We were looking to purchase the mid-Century small slat shutters, which Shutters & More do make. We opted for the 1 7/8" vs the older 1 1/4" slats because they were 1/2 the price, and frankly, they look spectacular! They do quality work with quality product. They also accurately give you a time estimate for the making and installation of the shutters. And they look so much better than the old college dorm Pier One off the rack coverings we previously had! read more

This place is bonkers great! The craftsmanship and skill used to design and install my new shutters were truly second to none! I basically called with just an idea of what I wanted for a large picture window at my new place, and had no idea if it could even be done. Dave stopped by for a consultation and not only said it was something he could handle, but walked me through every aspect of the build. From scratch, Dave was able to build something that I only had in my brain and that to me is not just construction, but true artistry. I honestly think if I told him I wanted shutters in the shapes of unicorns that shoot rainbows out of their horns he would find a way to make it happen! I'll let the pictures do the talking, you can see the before curtains and then what Dave was able to create from the materials of the universe; something truly spectacular and the centerpiece for the whole house! The quality of the finish and wood is unbelievable, I cannot recommend these guys enough. Gave me an initial quote and stuck to it, even though additional parts and labor were needed. When you go to a group of craftsman like, this, you should expect the best and that is exactly what I got. Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the fit, finish, and quality of work. Thanks so much guys! read more

Thank you to Claude and the shutters and more team. We installed 8 shutters on various sized windows and a larger shutter on a door and everything looks and works amazingly well. Everything was top notch from the measurement to the delivery process. We had seen these shutters at a friends house and even though their offices are a little further north than we would typically shop (we must have passed 4 other shutter stores on the way there) - we are extremely happy with the result. An A+ result that was right on budget and it fits the décor of our house. Thank you! read more

I purchased six Bermuda exterior shutters and they have all warped after being primed, painted, and installed. This happened with a week of the shutters installation. They tell me now that they do not guarantee outdoor shutters for outdoor installation, which does not make sense. They only guaranteed them to be in good order when they leave the shop. They did meet that criteria as far as I could tell. I would not have accepted them when they were delivered if the slats were warped. They have made no effort to remedy the issue. So, that was over $3K down the drain for the shutters and another $2K for the painting, framing and installation. They were professionally painted so they can't pas the blame on to the painter. I really think the wood that they used was not suitable for outdoor use given how poorly they have held up. I gave them a one star rating since yelp requires at least a one star rating. I would have given them a No Star Rating. Their shutters may be fine for indoor installation, but avoid this place like the plague if you want outdoor shutters. read more

We are so glad we stopped in the showroom and met with Claude Sable, General Manager. He took the time to listen to our needs, show us samples and options, and even gave us glimpse of their on-site work room where we saw local workers fabricating and hand-finishing the shutters. Outstanding company! We just moved into our new house and decided to add Plantation Shutters to all our windows - 38 of them! I got quotes from 4 different companies. Shutters and More wasn't the most expensive and they weren't the cheapest - I went with them because I had a really good feeling I was going to get really great shutters and I did! They delivered everything they said they would. My shutters are beautiful and I am extremely happy. I've had shutters installed in several homes in the past. One time I went with the cheapest company and got really cheap flimsy shutters. This time I went with the company that I felt would make the best shutter and they didn't disappoint. My job was a two day job - they were on time - fast - and did an awesome job. I highly recommend this company for shutters. read more
