I hired Shutters and More to install shutters for two bay windows. I got pricing from several other companies and theirs came in the most competitive. During the initial visit they came out to take measurements. I let the employee know that I specifically wanted the mid rail of my shutters to line up with the mid rail of my windows (they are the type that slide up to open) so he took extra care to make sure everything matched up. A few weeks later they returned to install the shutters. I've had them for about a year now. I recently called them for a warranty repair (a couple of the frames were rubbing together, likely due to settlement) and they came out within a week and fixed them free of charge. Overall just a very solid experience. They're a responsive, no hassle company and their products are well priced and good quality. read more

This review is a little late, but I want to share that this company installed plantation wood shutters in my living room in July 2009. They have held up beautifully. They still look new. I only had issues with the plastic hardware cracking and needing to be replaced. I called the office and asked about the cost of just the hardware. To my surprise, the person I spoke with didn't ask how many pieces were broken; he asked for my address, and a few days later I received the hardware. The replacement hardware he sent was generous. This place is bonkers great! The craftsmanship and skill used to design and install my new shutters were truly second to none! I basically called with just an idea of what I wanted for a large picture window at my new place, and had no idea if it could even be done. Dave stopped by for a consultation and not only said it was something he could handle, but walked me through every aspect of the build. From scratch, Dave was able to build something that I only had in my brain and that to me is not just construction, but true artistry. I purchased six Bermuda exterior shutters and they have all warped after being primed, painted, and installed. This happened with a week of the shutters installation. They tell me now that they do not guarantee outdoor shutters for outdoor installation, which does not make sense. They only guaranteed them to be in good order when they leave the shop. They did meet that criteria as far as I could tell. I would not have accepted them when they were delivered if the slats were warped. They have made no effort to remedy the issue. So, that was over $3K down the drain for the shutters and another $2K for the painting, framing and installation. They were professionally painted so they can't pas the blame on to the painter. I really think the wood that they used was not suitable for outdoor use given how poorly they have held up. I gave them a one star rating since yelp requires at least a one star rating. I would have given them a No Star Rating. Their shutters may be fine for indoor installation, but avoid this place like the plague if you want outdoor shutters. read more

Long overdue review! We love our shutters! The order was delayed due to COVID but it was worth the wait. I only wish they had communicated with us better in regards to timing. The order was supposed to take 5-6 weeks and we had to keep calling to check up on the order after the 6 week mark.
