Second Update: April 2026 I had trouble reprogramming the electric roller shades myself (Somfy), so I reached out to Neil. He sent me his installer, Ron, who went above and beyond to get what I needed. We figured out that the motor needed replacement, and we got a new motor free of charge. The customer support is really incomparable. Update: January 2026 Some of the extenders broke so I reached out to Neil. He sent us the replacement quickly with no charge. Excellent after service! We had a great experience with Neil and team. Like others who have reviewed, we received a flyer from the Window Blind Connection (along with several other vendors) at our home. Since we were in the market to update our window shades, we did some quick research and ruled out the ones who had poor reviews (from Yelp of course). Then we contacted three vendors, including Neil, for quotes. Of the 3, one (large, national vendor) came by to do measurements, but did not provide any advice, so we felt like we were left on our own. A 2nd did a call, but really told us that, given our price range, we should do mini blinds, and really did not give us any advice on anything else. Neil came in person, did the measurements and walked us through the pros and cons of our selection. His pricing was also the best of the three quotes that we received. We told him we needed a week or two to decide. No problem - after we thought through it, we decided to go in another direction (shades + cellular instead). We called Neil and asked him if he could still use the measurements, but we wanted to go in a different direction, and could he let us know his advice on our new selections. Neil insisted that the only way to make a good decision would be to see live samples, so he made a second trip to our home, and this time we looked at our new selections in our home, and selected the colors. We also had a bunch of special requests given the thickness of our windows, and he patiently walked us through the pros and cons of each choice and provided his own advice on the best solution (without being pushy about it). We put down the 1st part of the payment, and also were told our ETA would be 4-5 weeks, and the product came in right on time.Gabriel, on Neil's team, called to schedule an appointment to do the install. Neil had told us it would probably take about 3-4 hours. Gabriel did a great install in much less time than that, and he cleaned up and vacuumed after his install. He also installed some existing shades we had (that we had not purchased from the Window Blind Connection) as promised. We think our newly installed Roman and cellular shades look and function great, and Neill also called as a follow up to make sure we were satisfied.
