Needed a Milgard window replaced in our kitchen due to condensation between the dual panes. Frontier Windows was recommended by another glass vendor & I'm so glad we went with them instead of looking through that foggy window for another minute. It was super easy to schedule them. They came out to measure & then came out several days later once the replacement glass was ready to do the install. Left no mess behind & final charge was the same price as they originally quoted. Can't argue with that! read more

Frontier windows was the most legit window company to ever work with. Professional, honest, trustworthy, and super skilled at what they do. The team is excellent and makes sure that you are satisfied with the product, the service and the friendship! I had a great experience working with this company. They replaced two windows in my home and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. What stood out most was their attention to detail. They came out a couple of times before the install just to double-check and confirm all the measurements, which gave me a lot of confidence that everything would fit perfectly--and it did. The installation itself was clean and professional, and they made sure everything was sealed and finished properly. Communication was easy, and they were responsive whenever I had questions. Overall, I'd definitely recommend them if you're looking for reliable, detail-oriented window replacement work. I'd use them again for future projects. read more

Frontier Windows & Doors are the absolute best at what they do. This is the second time I've called on John and his team as I've slowly been replacing the original windows in my home - huge, complicated, floor-to-ceiling windows. They helped with the design of the layout, and had creative solutions to a few problems that were uncovered along the way. The installation team were extremely professional, kept a clean work site, and got the job done on time. read more

I had an excellent experience with Frontier Windows & Doors for my recent window and patio door project. Before choosing Frontier, I spoke with several other companies because I needed windows with better noise‑reducing performance than the industry standard. John's experience installing noise‑reducing windows for other residences immediately stood out, and his knowledge helped me feel confident about selecting International Window Company windows and Milgard doors. When I visited the showroom to meet John in person, he took a great deal of time walking me through the products and explaining the benefits. He was clearly very busy, but he never rushed me or made me feel like I was taking too much of his time. He gave me far more attention than I later realized he probably had to spare, and he remained consistently kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. It was genuinely a great experience working with him. The installation crew -- Tony, Walter, and Brian -- were outstanding. They worked quietly, efficiently, and with clear attention to detail. They arrived on time, stayed focused, and completed the job with clean, precise workmanship. John also helped coordinate an additional step I needed: removing and reinstalling my plantation shutters before and after the patio door installation. He connected me with Convenient Drapery (Blinds & Shutters), and they were excellent as well. I scheduled the project with Aura, and Adolfo was the technician who came out. Both were friendly, reliable, and Adolfo did a great job removing the shutters beforehand and reinstalling them perfectly once the new doors were in. Overall, Frontier delivered a seamless experience from start to finish -- great products, great people, and exceptional coordination. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality windows, doors, and professional installation, especially if you need noise‑reducing options or a company that truly takes the time to help you make the right choice. read more

Frontier Windows & Doors did a fabulous job installing a large window in our living room. I called 3 companies to get pricing. They were the only company willing to come out and measure the window! The others asked me to email them the measurement. It took about a month from the time they measured to get it installed. The technician Misal was terrific! The price was better than the other companies as well. They really know what they are doing. It looks beautiful I would definitely recommend Frontier Windows &Doors! read more

Frontier is the absolute best! We've used them two separate times and each time the work is done fast, with friendly and efficient installers. John also went the extra mile to give us the best deal- totally beating out the other quotes we got each time. I can't recommend them enough. read more

We recently bought a property in Chatsworth that desperately needed new windows. Having had a great experience with Milgard at our previous home, we knew we wanted to go with them again for the new house. After requesting quotes through the Milgard website, we were surprised to find that every dealer offered different pricing for the same size windows and installation. More frustratingly, none of the other dealers were willing to come out for final measurements without forcing us to sign a contract first; it felt like they were more interested in locking us in than providing service. Frontier Windows was the refreshing exception. John was the only dealer who gladly offered to come out and measure the windows before any commitment. He provided incredibly knowledgeable and valuable advice on product details without ever trying to upsell us. He was patient with our questions and followed up with a detailed email outlining all our options in writing. The final price was more competitive than the other dealers! Once we placed our deposit, John kept us updated every step of the way during the manufacturing process. When they were ready, he even scheduled the installation around my work shifts so I could be home. On installation day, David and his crew arrived right on time. They were professional, polite, and did a fantastic job. Two of our windows required minor drywall repair, and they went above and beyond to patch it for us, even though it wasn't technically part of the job. They left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. I am extremely satisfied with the entire process. The windows were installed in August 2025, and I'm writing this now in April 2026 after a winter of heavy rainstorms. They held up perfectly without a single leak! I would definitely choose Frontier Windows again. read more

The only reason we are giving this business a star is because the workers who installed our windows did a good job. That's as far as the good review goes. John who was the rep that met with us. We were looking to have all our windows replaced on our house. He was referred to us by a close friend. He told us he was going to include the windows that you can open as a vent for free in 2 of our bathrooms. Plus he also told us that he was going to have the bay window professionally cleaned and a film added to help with the heat since we weren't going to be able to replace them because we didn't want to get rid of the granite splash gard at no cost too. We talked about the bay window numerous times prior to the day our windows were being installed. He at first acted like it was new to him but then went along with it. He told me and my husband the day before instalation that once the windows were done he'd have the bay windows done. So our windows got done and no one on his team knew anything about the vented windows or the bay window cleaning. We called John and he gave us the run around. Told us he'd have a guy come the next day. In the meantime when we went to pay we had decided not to finance it we got the ok to write 1 check for a portion to be paid up front and a post dated check for 2 weeks... Next day a young guy came to the house and started cleaning the bay window with what looked like a scraper and windex. He ends up telling us he did the best he could. I've cleaned that window as good as he did. He didn't know about the film but said the windows weren't good enough to have the film done. So we called John and told him. He offered to help havr the glass replaced at no charge. He gave my husband a number to a guy. We called him and he told my husband John was full of it but felt bad for us so gave us another number. We called him. He came out and got the measurements but we never heard from him again. Next thing we know, they cashed BOTH checks at the same time! My husband was livid and called him. They went back and forth about it. Luckily we were able to cover it. But John ghosted us about that. Never got the vented windows and never got the bay window resolved. We told our friend who referred him about it and he was very upset because he has given John alot of business. He tried reaching him. And he ghosted our friend now too. Very unprofessional read more

I'm so glad I chose Frontier Windows and Doors for replacing 10 windows and 1 sliding door in my home. John was incredibly professional from start to finish--gave me a very reasonable price and kept in constant contact throughout the process. Not only did they make my windows look amazing, but they were also a pleasure to be around and took the time to educate me along the way. read more

We recently had water damage and wanted to swap out our retrofit windows for new construction windows. We used it as an opportunity to change the design of our house. We ordered new milgard windows that look great! The installation was quick and easy and the team did minimal damage to the siding. The milgard windows themselves seem to have a few oversights that would truly make them A+ windows. We opted for white siles on the inside and black on the outside. When looking at the windows from an angle, it's a bit distracting to see the white from outside or the black from inside. They should be able to customize the back the sile to match the color on the otherside. Also, the siles stick out a bit and make a sound when opening/closing. We have a service ticket with milgard to come inspect. Overall price was reasonable and the windows look great, so we're happy with the work done! read more

After getting swarmed by window companies with sky-high quotes and sales pitches straight out of a game show, Frontier Windows was a welcome change. Arthour came by, skipped the nonsense, and gave me a quote that was actually reasonable - no smoke, no mirrors. Just a guy who knows windows and doesn't need a song and dance to sell them. I signed on the spot for 5 windows and a sliding door. From ordering to installation took about six weeks--faster than I expected, especially considering everything was American-made. Misael and his crew showed up like a pit crew, got straight to it, and had everything done in under six hours. No drama, no dragging their feet. They even helped with my new blinds, just because they could. A couple screens came slightly warped (manufacturer issue), but Gor handled it without making me jump through hoops. New ones were sent and replaced, simple as that. Since the install, the house is quieter, cooler, and the AC isn't working overtime. If you're sick of inflated quotes and contractor theatrics, get a quote from Frontier. They're a small, local business that actually delivers!! and no, I'm not here to blow smoke. They just did a damn good job. read more

Do not do Business with this company. The Owner is a thief he quoted me a price for a replacement of bottom of a window. The price was a 142.19, and to place that window in he quoted me 400.00 not even a complete install just placing the bottom window in, so I cancelled the install just give me my material I. Paid for. I gave him half the money for the job but notice what he was charging for install and called him and spoke to John Mutafyan informing him that I didn't want his company to install the window pane for that outrageous charge, of 400.00 for installation of a window pane. After calling for several weeks looking for my window , someone in his office name Gor told me that the reason for the delay was that they was having a hard time getting my window from the manufacturer ( Milgard) and after another two weeks I was told I could come to the warehouse to pickup my window. After arriving at the warehouse where it was very difficult to get in, it was like a dangerous mays, where I encountered a man name Jr who had no idea who I was and where my window order was. After several phone calls to Gor I was told that I would have to paid my balance of 1800.00, which I was shocked to hear this price when I got a quote in my hand of 142.00. So Jr. proceeded to make another phone call and then came back to tell me yes I had to pay the $1800.00 before I could receive my window, yes a single window which measured around 36x48. After several phone calls, Junior came back and said no you don't have a balance, and so I found my window by the time he got back and he told me he said I could take the window to your car. So what I received is Glass with no exterior white structure just some glass pane and it was cracked like they took the white part off the window and gave it to me as just a piece of glass. I'm begging you don't deal with this guy. Still waiting for my refund of 155.00. I have left voicemails regarding my refund with no response. read more

I just had my patio door and window replaced by Frontier Windows. The entire process was easy and seamless. Arthur the project manager was very informative about the type of patio door that was needed, the material, soundproofing materials etc. I received my quote within hours after he visited. Final measurements were quick and easy. Jasmine in the office set up an easy and secure electronic way to process payment. Then Tony and the installers were efficient, clean and my finishing was absolutely beautiful!! The insulation on my windows is amazing. I highly recommend Frontier Windows for their excellent customer service and affordable prices. I contacted several window companies and Frontier gave me the lowest quotes to replace my attic windows. John was very responsive and patient with my requests for pricing on different brands and styles. Installation went smoothly, and I'm happy with the windows. A year later, rain was leaking through the window frame in my living room, and I contacted Frontier again to see if they did window repairs. Even though they don't repair windows that weren't installed by them, John offered to came out free of charge to take a look. A less scrupulous person would have told us we needed to replace the windows, but not John. He informed us the window was fine and provided us great advise on diagnosing the source of the rain leak. Excellent, excellent company. They gave me a great price on replacing an oversized sliding door. We hired this company for a second time based on a great past experience replacing two windows and a slider. However, while they may handle tiny jobs well, it is entirely obvious that the owner, John, cannot handle large orders and does not employ competent staff. Our second project was a major installation of nine windows, a bay window, and a large slider--all custom Milgard Tuscany. It was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Avoid this company like the plague. Gross Mismanagement and Negligence Once the sale was finalized, John became completely unresponsive. The project manager, David, is highly disorganized, unresponsive, and incapable of taking correct measurements or managing his crew. The worst mistake was that they mismeasured the bay window, ordering one meant for an entirely different installation type. It took them four days to install this incorrect, heavily damaged window. They hacked together a temporary "fix" by slapping a ton of silicone on the facade and placing a support stick underneath that actively pulled on our home's exterior structure. This negligence left our house exposed to rain and harsh weather for six months without stucco. Despite knowing the window was wrong in July, John completely ignored our calls for months. It took until October for him to finally contact us about a reorder. Shockingly, he refused to remove the wrong window himself. We had to pay out of pocket to have it removed just so he could pick it up. This shows a complete lack of integrity and pure unprofessionalism. We were fully prepared to take John to small claims court. Knowing the lawsuit would become public record, he finally settled and gave us a refund. Disrespect, Discrimination, and Property Damage As immigrants, my husband and I were treated with utter disrespect. For the first time in our lives, we experienced active discrimination from a work crew. They openly made derogatory remarks about us in Spanish, completely unaware that Spanish is my second language and I understood every word. Furthermore, the installers were the dirtiest and messiest workers we have ever encountered. We had just newly finished our walls and floors. The workers dragged and leaned heavy windows directly against the new walls, leaving dings. They placed them straight onto our newly refinished oak hardwood without any protection, leaving deep scratches. They used zero drop cloths or protection on our furniture and beds to block dust and debris; we actually had to go out and buy RAM board ourselves to protect our own property. One worker even tracked thick mud and dirt into a room where no work was happening, right over the carpet where our 16-month-old son crawls. They also left piles of construction debris outside the bay window that they never bothered to clean up. Horrific Craftsmanship The final quality of the work was horrific. Several of the brand-new windows arrived covered in scratches. Messy, dirty caulking was smeared everywhere. The installation was so poorly managed that my husband had to take four full days off work just to supervise the crew and ensure the windows were being installed level--a job David was supposed to do. When Milgard technicians later came out to fix the mosquito screens, they discovered even more major installation failures. The window latches were installed at completely different heights, and the sliding door heights were uneven. The manufacturer's own technicians openly commented that these installers did not know how to perform basic tasks. We deeply regret trusting John and his team. Do not be fooled by the five-star reviews. If you value your home, your money, time, and your sanity, look elsewhere. John's hypocrisy and vanity are staggering: his ego drove him to respond to this review within five minutes of it being posted, yet he lacked the professional decency to return our urgent calls for four months. It took him from June until October to acknowledge that he ordered the wrong bay window--a mistake his own installers openly admitted to on day one. That tells you everything you need to know about his character and priorities and how he runs the company. read more

John was unresponsive and after months of back and forth, I did not even get a email, text, or phone call that he would not be able to assist. I would not recommend if you are looking for prompt communication or at the very least someone who is honest to say they are not able to take on the work. That was valuable time I could have used to find another vendor. *Update* John did attempt to reach out after 3 months of non-communication, however, it was only after I posted a Yelp review. I am not interested in working vendors that I need to chase down or need to motivation unless I post a bad review. read more

Working with Frontier Windows has been an excellent experience. They offered the best value and service for the Milgard windows I purchased. I got three bids for 12 windows and 3 sliders they were most competitive. While there is no perfect, they went above and beyond to help me correct the issues of the manufacturer. They like me were the ham in the sandwich so to speak between the manufacturer and my contractor. I will say that I would for the next time have them do the installation. I bought Milgard windows and learned a lesson about casement windows. I previously bought Milgard double hung windows at a different place and they are trouble free easy to clean etc. I had a few issues with the casement in the Trinsic series but alls been resolved and I presume once in use full time they too will be trouble free. read more

still missing the screen that came with the door! but now they won't even reply to my texts! they did fix the missing caulking and the seal... Update 4/27/25: finally got the screen installed about 8 months after original install. Partly frontier not believing that their installer put it in wrong and then having to wait for Marvin rep to come and order a replacement... On installation for some reason they tried to just fix the incorrectly installed version... Which wasted my time... Not sure why I had to show them an installation video to prove the screen should open both ways. After all that, of course it's not perfectly straight apparently because the frame isn't perfectly straight... But if I wanted that fixed the installer that day told me I would've had to remove the interior framing they had installed, possible damaging paint etc ...At this point I just wanted to be done .. still got charged the $1000 remaining balance read more
