My new color! House is all done now! My neighbors are jealous! All stucco is repaired and looks stunning!
    Kimberly A.

I definitely love it! My house looks better than brand new! It was built in 1945, and it has never, ever looked this amazing! It was all done in only 7 days! Incredible I just wish I had done the Cool Life exterior coating sooner. It is classy, refined and sophisticated now. No more looking like a hot mess. No more looking like a faded, worn out, cotton candy pink puff. No more looking unfinished and just a project that I was going to address "someday". I picked this color back in 2018. So finally after 5.5 years of just being a paint sample card in my purse, it is a stunning reality now! I am thrilled that Approved Contractor was able to custom match the color I wanted. My house had a lot of damaged stucco around the base, the termites ate some parts of my undereaves, but it was all repaired and restored! Jared made it easy to say yes. He is professional and by the book. He got me an amazing deal, and took care of financing the project in a few minutes. I had gotten 4 bids total, and the other 3 were a waste of time. Approved Contractor takes care of everything, and their price was the best. This transformation is gorgeous! As a widow and single mom, my daughter and I really appreciate all y'all have done for us. Thank you to Chuy, Javi, and the nice guy that installed the pedestrian garage door.

Approved Contractor completed my house painting in about three weeks' time. The steps were: powerwashing, sanding, patching, siding replacement, priming, painting, clean up, and touch ups. I am very happy with the results. Our curb appeal is significantly improved. Our neighbors keep complimenting the project. The value was great-- I got quotes from three companies and not only was this the best-- there is a lifetime warranty on the materials and is transferable once. Labor warranty is four years. Total expense was under 30,000. Approved Contractor's team is very responsive and helpful. The office, the foreman, and the crew communicate together very well. The on-site crew was polite, considerate, and definitely enjoy their jobs. It seems like a nice company to work for. The crew did not mind working around me when I needed to do yardwork during the project. The foreman was great about continuing the project when I went away on vacation. There was also a portopotty on site which was very thoughtful to keep the interior of my house clean.

I hired Approved Contractor to replace my aging wooden French doors. Right from the start, Jared the business owner, was professional, no-nonsense, and gave me valuable advice about my options. I actually learned a lot from him. All the interactions with his office staff as well as the tradesmen that performed the job were all professional, honest, and highly skilled, and the end result was just beautiful! There was a long supply chain delay, months, in between ordering and install, but Jared's office, especially, Kimy, kept in touch regularly, letting me know they haven't forgotten our work and would be starting asap. That went a long way with me! Thanks Kimy! I've had my fair share of experiences with contractors, both "pretty good" and some downright, nightmarish! I have to say, this has been the single best experience from beginning to end that I've ever had with remodeling and it's due to the high standards this company upholds. On top of that, Jared is a nice guy and really knows his stuff. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who demands quality and professionalism. He doesn't do crappy jobs, so don't ask for the cheap version that will cause regret later. Jared, can't thank you and your crew enough! Really appreciate you all!

Excellent experience from start to finish! We had all our old, and single-pane windows (about 23) and doors (3) replaced at our house. We first met Mark, who came to our house; he thoroughly reviewed our windows and answered our questions without pushing us to sign anything. We met with the owner Jared before we decided to move forward. The communication with the office was excellent. The lead time was ultimately longer than initially planned (but this was expected given the state of the supply chain in 2022). The installation was fantastic. Lalo and his team came for about four days to our house and did an extraordinary job. Lalo explained everything we needed to know about the process to accommodate our working-from-home schedule and our two indoor cats. The resulting work is phenomenal, and the difference in the house is very noticeable between our old and new windows. Overall I would highly recommend Approved Contractor!

Look at the transformation of color and Ipe wood siding! As with any construction projects there were a few hiccups but the final product was an A+. I also have to admit that the price Jared game me for more than fair, especially in comparison with other contractors. His workers were professional and adhered to my high expectations! See the final product and where we started...Job well done...Thanks Jared!

They also replaced our side gate and entry and made sure it had matching locks with the pool. I definitely recommend them.

I do NOT like paying a contractor overhead. I am a time and materials person. I like "control" over expenses. So for me to hire someone to install windows and doors, has never happend. But I had a unique problem area in my home, I decided to seek out a contractor. I have a large atrium type living room that gets very hot from direct sun exposure and whose large picture window/sliding windows and french doors, leak during every driving rain. I got a predictably high bid from a large - well known window replacement company. After hearing CDW's annoying ads for about a decade now on KNX-I decided to give them a try. I was so skeptical that CDW would be a better bid that I almost canceled. Glad I didn't. CDW sent a personable, low key-no pressure, knowledgable person. He did a great presentation on the values of upgrading in this particular case, AND the price was 1/3 less than the "other guy". From the signing of the contract, It took four weeks to manufacture product and set installation date. Installation was completed in one day with a team of three installers. They prepped by covering all interior/exterior furniture/ surfaces exposed to possible work dust. They were friendly, worked diligently and answered whatever questions I had without attitude or hesitation during the day. Their attention to detail in the finish/caulking was great. Looks perfect. All I can say is-I am super thrilled with the product, personel, and the installation. It looks beautiful. Huge upgrade for our primary living space. Could not be happier. I hope all is well when tested during the rains.

And God help you if you do not agree to their $200 made-up service call fee, because they they definitely won't give a damn! If I knew I'd get screwed like this by this company, I would have paid more and gone with a company who actually stands behind their product. So when all else fails, threaten them and give them a deadline to repair their products under warranty within 30 days. If they do not do so, get it fixed by any other company and then take legal action and go after them for however much you paid out-of-pocket. Eventually they'll realize it's in their best interest to come out and keep their promise rather than cough up thousands of dollars for another company cleaning up their mess! Trust me, get a lawyer and get it done right...and DO NOT fall for their automatic responses by ownership about "oh call us and we'll make it right." It's all BS!

Our salesman, Michael, was great and the most helpful throughout the process. However, the bad experience started as soon as work was set to begin. We were told we would have a "project manager" which seemingly didn't exist. I believe that was suppose to be Allan. We were working from home at the time and I only got to speak to Allan once. Not sure how many times he came on site. I'm not sure whose fault it is, but the itemized estimate for the work was inaccurate from the beginning which was frustrating because although to my knowledge we paid the right price, the inaccuracies felt like we were jipped. There seemed to always be a reluctance to give a full itemized estimate of the job, which, when you're paying over $25k for a job shouldn't be an issue. Somewhere during our project the admin, Sandy, left UHR, but her replacement seemed more organized and communicative, but we were already frustrated. Skylights: we had two skylights installed and the plan was to install them prior to the new roof being put on and knocked out all at the same time. However, the subcontractor hired for this job by UHR fully expected to pop into Home Depot the day before install to get the skylights and they weren't available. While this may be the norm and they're usually available, we felt it should've been planned better. So, the entire roof was finished and then they had to come back a week later to install the skylights. Roof: roof install was OK. We have exposed beams inside and there are areas in the house where the beams were missed and roofing nails punctured through the inside. Not a huge deal, but shows they didn't complete take their time. (See photos) An area of roof slopes down into the house and a cricket needed to be installed. First, how this wasn't planned for in the first place was beyond me because the slope was obvious. Second, we were charged an extra $300 for the install of it. This isn't bad and I understand cost, but we things keep adding up and adding up, it gets frustrating. Professionals should have been able to know that would be an issue from the beginning. MISTAKES: During the install, the workers disconnected our AC unit water sources which caused the water to leak into water heater. UHR later came back and reconnected, but a hole in our ceiling was made initially to try and fix it and they did a horrible job patching it up. (I didn't notice this until after they left as it's a guest room and we don't go in here often) FLASHING: I'm not sure if it's normal, but when installed the flashing was right to the roof and side of the home, GREAT. A few months later, it started going out (see photos) LEAKS: we've had a couple storms since the install and no issues but in the most recent winter storm 12/28/21-12/30/21 we started having leaks in a few places. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Re: the leaks - since the leaks I've called UHR 3 times and left two voicemails and haven't heard anything back. I texted Michael (not sure if he's with UHR, but he didn't tell me otherwise) he said he would let someone know to reach out and nobody has. Hoping someone responds to this as we still need service for the leaks and possibly flashing.
