We worked with David and Ali after a wet California winter made us realize we needed a new roof on over 30-year-old home. David came out in the rain and immediately tarped our roof and made sure that all the leaks were covered. The team as whole were very professional and VERY clean. They made sure to constantly keep the front and backyard clean which was very nice given we have a dog daily. The level of communication was excellent from the home office, the guys on the roof and our project managers. There were never any unexpected surprises and they went above and beyond. Given that we are down in Laguna Niguel and they are in Reseda they always were on time and always made sure that we understood every step of the process. I needed to repair a good amount of stucco and have an entire 2,000 sq ft house painted. Trusted home came out with Sofy, Carlos, and Brian. They were all very helpful and hard working. They gave me the presentation and while I really can't comment on the truth of the claims of the Cool Life paint, the work has been great. The house looks great, I don't know if it's any cooler because of the paint but they did a very good job repairing stucco and wood facia to look similar before repainting. They did a overall great job. There were a couple of minor issues but being realistic it was a great experience and would recommend using this company again hands down. read more

I have had my share of horror stories with so called contractors who do subpar work and disappear when the check clears. I called THC for a wrap-around patio cover and stamped concrete . As with any contractor, I was a little leery and cautious but I became a little more comfortable when I spoke with Howard and Leah. Their customer service is fantastic...and then I met Carlos. Carlos' reputation precedes him. I immediately knew that the job was going to be done right as Carlos oversaw the entire project from start to finish. He kept me abreast of everything, from design to city permits to snags in the inspection process for my city. I will definitely hire THC again for future projects and I will definitely be asking for Carlos again. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the beautiful work done by Carlos and the THC team. They have been remodeling the outside exterior walls and windows of our house for about 2 years. There have been a ton of cons with them but I will say they never ditched us and fixed every single one of their mistakes. I am giving them 4 stars because we worked with Brian and he literally saved them from me giving a 1 star. He is reliable, trustworthy, caring and a very honest guy. After well over $30,000.00 in stucco and siding work, I'm now confident to say that these guys are horrible.... They use substandard subcontractors and do not stand by their work. They will blame the contractors and they keep using the same people. My project was supposed to be done MONTHS ago and they are still coming back to repair horrible work. They'll start strong and with 2-4 'field supervisors' but all that does is confuse everyone as they do no communicate with each other. Now they seem to use the excuse "he has corona so he couldn't come today"..... an hour after they were supposed to show up because their client's time means nothing to them. I've left messages for Howard the GM and the guy in charge of customer service but he ONLY got back to me when I reached out via a comment on their Facebook. They immediately deleted my comment and blocked me from posting more... no wonder they have no bad reviews there. Stucco was cracking days later and after 3 BS "repairs", its still cracking. The faux brick was not only put up horribly but it started coming off of the house less than a month later. HORRIBLE customer service, horrible end result and they are NOT the cheapest... After this experience, I can't imagine recommending them. I usually do NOT put up bad reviews but this has been so horrible and expensive that I didn't want anyone else to go through what I've dealt with. Feel free to message me if curious. read more

They missed two "BIG" spots on the front of my house and the back patio cover needs a second coat as well as the workmanship on the open slats part of the patio cover was very bad! They're scrambled, unorganized, not sure if they gave you a bid or not. It seems all they do is get people to come give you a bid and those people must be independent contractors who tack some money on to get THC paid. Marianne was stressed and very disheveled on the phone. She called me at least three times to ask for the job and tried to pressure me into letting another guy come give a second bid, since "her"contractor never told her what the bid was. Say, what? No, we are going to pass and go with a company who knows what their employees are doing. We agreed on a price and the job was started the following week. Painters were very professional, reliable and neat. Matched the custom color I wanted perfectly! Even used a new high efficiency, energy saving, rubberized paint guaranteed for 25 years......who knew? Also had them install new gutters immediately after the trim was finished. We had a new roof put on this past week. I was kept informed with all the details everyday. They arrived when they said they were supposed to. Their work was excellent! Everyday they cleaned up all the mess and blew any debris left. Also used a magnet to clean any nails. All the workers were very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this company if you are needing a new roof. My husband is a very detailed person and they provided a detail contract outling everything that they would do and they lived up to what was promised which is rare these days. Trusted Home contractors were great, they gave me an honest bid upfront, which means they gave me what I asked for, told me any extras that were involved and the best thing was they showed up when they said they would. I signed the contract on Wednesday, site inspection Thursday, removal of old roof Tuesday where, surprise happens under wood shingles, the crew took it in stride and worked through the 95 degree temps to get the roof sealed in. Back the next day, shielding, shingles, ridge vent, cleanup, done. I let them know the cleanup could have been better and my project manager, Ritchie was happy to send someone back out which I declined, just for next time. Tina in charge of accounting was easy to talk to and gladly took payments over the phone,LOL. I went with Trusted Home Contractors because other companies that bid on my roof didn't make clear they were 2-3 months away from start date (really) and another company immediately dropped the price $5500 when I said I was still getting bids if I would go with them(that still didn't put them in the ballpark). read more

I had my bathroom done by these "contractors" and not even 4 months later the walls are cracking the tile never got fixed that was cracked and broken, it took 2 months just to get them to fix the problem they created with the drain for the shower! Found this company from the cover ad on Top Pros Magazine. I call on a Thursday and left a message that I needed to get a roofing quote. I get a call later that evening from Howard who proceeds to ask me if my husband can be there when they come to do the assessment (which I found extremely insulting). I proceeded to tell him that my father-in-law will be making all final decisions based on the quotes that I am obtaining but that I will be the only one at the house when they arrive. He then asks me what we need done to the house. So I had to give him a full breakdown instead of someone coming out to assess what they determine needs to be done. So he then makes an appointment to come out the next day around 1pm. Well, I guess my roofing needs don't matter. No Call/No Show!!! Here it is on Monday evening and still nothing. Rude, Rude, Rude.
