I had a pretty bad crawlspace situation earlier this year involving a skunk getting underneath the house, along with the odor, flies, and contamination that came with it. Leo and his team at Leo's Home Solutions came out and did one hell of a job. Their team was incredibly coordinated and completed both the crawlspace and attic in a single day. The attic didn't have any infestations, but they carefully identified potential entry points and blocked them off to help prevent future problems. In the crawlspace, they completely removed all the trash and animal remnants, including droppings, then sanitized the area with a lemon deodorizer and bacteria-killing treatment. They also fully replaced the mesh lining on the vents surrounding the house, including both the crawlspace and attic vents. Had a very unpleasant experience with this company, I opened Yelp just to warn others and give my feedback to the individual/ owner who was here for the estimate. Before calling them out for an inspection we had 4 other inspections done by other companies in the Los Angeles area, we decided not to let him know and to just listen to what he had to say , additionally, we've had these services done at our other homes previously by other companies so we are familiar with the process . I had him over for some attic rat dropping clean up along with some maintenance of attic insulation that had degraded over time and rodent proofing. He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. He struck me as a straight-forward, honest, meticulous guy, who's putting everything into his small business. I later learned that he worked for another big exterminator for eight years before striking out on his own, so he brings all that experience to the job. The work was flawless. It all began when we found a rat in our toilet. I called several rat solution companies, but Leo was the first to heed the call. Great attention to customer care led me to a first great impression with Leo. Leo Home Solutions was the first company I called to go over our rat infest problem in our attic, garage, and crawlspace. And glad I did! I interviewed 4 other rat proof companies and made decision to go with Leo because of his thoroughness, detailing the process from start to finish, plus the great communication with him since Day 1 this past November. He's very personable and empathetic which was a huge plus. Because of the holidays we started this huge rat war project this early January. Leo and his crew were professional and respectful with my personal items in my garage.
