John was great! First of all, they do work on the weekends and that is a huge win for anybody that has a busy work week. John himself was super friendly and respectful. He took off his shoes before00000 entering the house even though he didn't need to. He said hello to my mother on the way in and out. He was just a great guy who was friendly and super relatable. Just really good customer service. As for the service itself, he was knowledgeable about how to clean and fix my dryer vent. Despite running late due to an accidental double booking, their technician, Jeff, was very professional. He was able to take off some difficult to access vents to thoroughly perform an air duct cleaning. He also thoroughly cleaned the furnace when replacing our air filter. They are very reasonable priced and even offered really great discounts when I booked. I really appreciated how responsive they were with my inquiries on yelp and they gave me a heads up of when they were running late, gave me a new estimated time of arrival, and they let me know exactly when the technician was heading over. I had an EXCELLENT experience with Blodgett from beginning to end. They were quick to respond and so super helpful. We had an empty gas fireplace that needed fake logs and setup, but we were clueless. Beware! They claim to be family owned. When Jon did my ducts last summer it was very hot, in the 100's. He left the air on and I asked was that ok, he said yes. When you look up the proper way to clean air ducts, it states the air conditioner should NOT be ON when cleaning the air ducts. When left on, it just blows the dust everywhere. He also only cleaned the vents where you can visibly see the inside. I chose to reach into the FLOOR VENTS to see if the vents were thoroughly clean and they were filthy. I complained about it and they agreed they would redo the air ducts and vent cleanging. I agreed, until the email confirmation showed the date to redo the vents, had comments that read, " brake air ducts"! I called and asked what it meant, and they said, that wasn't suppose to be in the email...HELLO??? It appears they were going to "brake my air ducts," !! They just forgot to delete it from the email. Of course i cancelled and asked for a partial refund and they told me they would have to speak to the owners. To date, i have yet to hear or receive a refund. I have since then filed a complaint. Waiting to hear from the Gov't agency about this crooked company. Debbie the sole call owner replied to my yelp review, but not here where it can be seen by consumers or the GOV'T. What a pathetic COMPANY! NOW DEBBIE knows who I am. In her first response she didn't know who I was. She responds after I made the necessary corrections! Consumers just pay attention, after they clean your vents, pay attention to not just what you can see when looking into the venta, but look at the inside within 5 inches into the vents, if you wipe, they are filthy with pincher bugs! read more

After we had the dryer vent cleaned by a different company, the "vent sensor" on my dryer kept coming on. So I had Blodgett's come out and do another clean. The guy that came out told us that someone (probably the last company) pushed the dryer too far back and squished the vent tube.
