I was so pleased with this company! The owner Ed was very thorough in his explanation of services. I had a lot of vents so he did my dryer vent for free. Aaron, the technician was the best! He called me 45 minutes before he arrived. He used booties to cover his feet. He was friendly, polite and professional. He worked continuously for 3 1/2 hours. He replaced my dryer hose free of charge with a more flexible model. My dryer had issues with balance to begin with and needed a lot of adjustment. When it rattled after he left, he returned the next day and adjusted the balance until it was quiet! I was so pleased! He vacuumed my fan cover and fixed my ceiling light which weren't included in the cost. I highly recommend this company and would hire them again. He said I won't need the service again for a few years! I felt I spent quite a bit but I had 13 vents and really needed the cleaning. I felt Aaron was very thorough. Got their coupon on Groupon (8 vents for $199) and they matched it by asking for $25 per any additional vents. I scheduled and Kiel came by and was thorough and honest. (So far, 5 stars) I asked him if he would be able to clean my laundry duct while he was there and he said ok but unfortunately, after the laundry duct cleaning, our dryer stopped working and we ended up buying a new one, only to find out that it's actually the air duct that was blocked after the cleaning. It turned out I had an extra fan that I didn't know about and when he cleaned the laundry duct from the outside, something happened to the fan and we ended up buying a new dryer thinking our drier was busted. (-3 stars so 2 stars at this point). I had my husband call a different company (only to find out later on that he called the same company ) and we were sent Sean who re-cleaned our laundry duct from both sides and, luckily, realized the existence of the laundry duct fan. He helped us fix the situation by removing the broken fan and patching it up. (5 stars so back to 5 stars...) since we called specifically for the laundry duct, he replaced our old laundry duct with a fire-proof one. Since it's the same company, I feel a bit let down that this wasn't offered the first time around. I don't even remember if Kiel cleaned from the laundry side. (-1 stars.. so 4 stars) The fan from my duct was uncommon so it's unfortunate that it got messed up during the first visit. Kiel was nice and cleaned the rest of the house very well and I don't blame him for not knowing about the fan, but it was very inconvenient (not to mention expensive as I bought a new washer/drier because we thought that was the problem and time consuming) trying to figure out what happened so I can't give this place a 5 star review. Sean saved the day and saved me rating this place a 2 but I can't give them a 5 because of all that I had to get through for a solution. I had to not only find out the hard way that it was the duct that was the problem after buying a new dryer unnecessarily but I had to pay to redo the laundry duct cleaning and also to fix the fan problem by having it removed and the duct patched up. Without my very specific issue, I would have gladly given them 5 stars. Its just unfortunate that this happened to me. Maybe next time I need a cleaning I'll call them again. I hope they learn from this and teach their employees about the fan for other people who have them (I attached a pic of the fan) to prevent the same issues for other customers. read more

Once I reviewed the yelp reviews I knew I wanted to give them a try because the yelp reviews were not only amazing but everything that the reviews said about ED and how professional, and kind he was proved to be true Ed was able to schedule me for the next day which was very convenient because my dryer was not drying due to clogged vent. Once Aaron arrived he was very kind professional and very helpful in explaining the process and what to expect. My washer and dryer are under a countertop and the space is very tight but Aaron never complained like other people who had to do some work in the same situation. He had such a great attitude and went above and beyond to ensure my dryer vent was clear and the dryer hose was tightly fasten to the vent which was difficult due to poor construction on the vent. He even took the time to test the dryer vent by running the dryer a few times and adjusting the vent hose because it was leaking a little due to the deformed shape of the vent connection. He didn't leave until he got as tight as a seal as he could given the poor construction of the pipe vent. Aaron was also very clean which is a big deal for us because of my wife's health issues. ---I really don't get all of these good reviews he received. --- is it because he is cheaper??? Actually a couple reviews had issues but still gave 4 stars because it was half the price from their competitors.... Spoke with Ed and setup a cleaning a week or so in advance. He calls me up and tells me the truck broke down the day of just 30 min before they were supposed to show up. His guys can now probably come at 3pm instead of 10:00am. I chose to continue with it and then he asks if I have any foot booties since he know I requested them to be careful with the newly steamed carpets upstairs. I told him No so he made it a point they would have to now stop somewhere to purchase them. Ok let's rewind back to my initial convo where I decided to go with this company over others. I gave Ed my concerns and that I needed them to make sure when they were cleaning the vents they would put down plastic or paper or something over the rugs since they were just steamed cleaned. He said yes they are dust free company and would lay plastic under the cleaning unit and anywhere under the vents. Now at 12:30 he tells me that he doesn't have any plastic or would not even put it down under the machine??? He apologized if he ever told me that and doesn't think he said that to me but he is a small shop and the bigger companies probably do that kind of thing? He said he would only put it over any furniture??? I needed a cleaning company and arranged this a day before I moved in to this townhome and he tells me this now. Seemed like he wanted to not do the job "since the truck broke down" I am now not able to get this completed since Ed lied about how careful and clean they would be. I cancelled because he seemed unreliable even before he started the job. Come on when you say you would cover a couch because of dust but then when I say it's not moved in yet you would tell me well only if there were beds or cabinets I would cover it but if nothing is there I would not. Also, not lay down plastic at least under each return? This is lazy, cheap and seriously a red flag where you can trust this type of company. When they are not prepared or precautious on ensuring how to mitigate a dust free zone and that there one selling point is to clean air duct vents? How is this a cleaning service. Well at 8:50 my doorbell rang and they were here to do the dryer vent cleaning, can you believe that, they actually were here just as they said they would be! Probably the best in home service I have ever had from anyone. I contacted Ed and he promptly got back to me with a quote for 10 vents, and of course, the cost turned out to be higher. Why? Because I can't count, I actually have 14 vents but each extra vent was only $25 more which is cheap considering my vents and ducts were completely filthy. I also decided to have the furnace cleaned and the exhaust fans in the bathrooms and laundry room cleaned which I was quoted $35-$50 depending on their condition and they were each cleaned for $40 each even though they were in awful condition. As an added bonus I got my dryer vent cleaned for no additional charge. It was quite a job as our builders angled the vent pipe down below the slab and apparently put nails into the pipe, which is why I was unable to clean it out myself. Now I can dry my clothes without cracking the garage door. The job took about 4 hours of hard work by James, the technician. I saw all the dirt and debris from when the house was built 32 years ago being scraped and sucked out of the ducts and when it was all over, the exhaust fans were quieter and actually did what they were supposed to do and air was flowing much better than before. The real kicker was when later that evening, the entire system stopped working. I called Ed the next day and he said he would send James back out. It turns out that James was down in San Diego and I thought I might be on his way home but no, he lives in Murrieta so he had to travel all the way from there to Riverside, drive to the auto parts store to buy a fuse with his own money, drive back to my house and fix a problem that very likely had nothing to do with anything he had done. He must have charged me a fortune to do all that, right? Nope, not only did he charge me nothing, he refused to accept the money I offered him for adding 2 hours onto his day, the gas it took him to drive here and back and the fuse he purchased. He even left me an extra fuse in case I had the same problem in the future. I'll not only recommend this company to clean your air ducts, I'll go so far as to say that if you hire anyone else to do this kind of work, you're a moron, or you just didn't do your due diligence. Look at the reviews of this place and compare them to the competition. You don't get a 5 star rating from nearly everyone who hires you unless you're an outstanding business, and this place is by far the best. I can't overstate how great the service, price and professionalism I received has been. read more
