    Quick professional response to my yelp request. I liked the thorough explanation of services via phone call. They came next day and provided great service with no surprise charges. The technician cleaned out 25 years of dryer vent mess I had no idea existed and cleaned up very well. Definitely recommend.

    Got their coupon on Groupon (8 vents for $199) and they matched it by asking for $25 per any additional vents. I scheduled and Kiel came by and was thorough and honest. (So far, 5 stars) I asked him if he would be able to clean my laundry duct while he was there and he said ok but unfortunately, after the laundry duct cleaning, our dryer stopped working and we ended up buying a new one, only to find out that it's actually the air duct that was blocked after the cleaning. It turned out I had an extra fan that I didn't know about and when he cleaned the laundry duct from the outside, something happened to the fan and we ended up buying a new dryer thinking our drier was busted. (-3 stars so 2 stars at this point). I had my husband call a different company (only to find out later on that he called the same company ) and we were sent Sean who re-cleaned our laundry duct from both sides and, luckily, realized the existence of the laundry duct fan. He helped us fix the situation by removing the broken fan and patching it up. (5 stars so back to 5 stars...) since we called specifically for the laundry duct, he replaced our old laundry duct with a fire-proof one. Since it's the same company, I feel a bit let down that this wasn't offered the first time around. I don't even remember if Kiel cleaned from the laundry side. (-1 stars.. so 4 stars) The fan from my duct was uncommon so it's unfortunate that it got messed up during the first visit. Kiel was nice and cleaned the rest of the house very well and I don't blame him for not knowing about the fan, but it was very inconvenient (not to mention expensive as I bought a new washer/drier because we thought that was the problem and time consuming) trying to figure out what happened so I can't give this place a 5 star review. Sean saved the day and saved me rating this place a 2 but I can't give them a 5 because of all that I had to get through for a solution. I had to not only find out the hard way that it was the duct that was the problem after buying a new dryer unnecessarily but I had to pay to redo the laundry duct cleaning and also to fix the fan problem by having it removed and the duct patched up. Without my very specific issue, I would have gladly given them 5 stars. Its just unfortunate that this happened to me. Maybe next time I need a cleaning I'll call them again. I hope they learn from this and teach their employees about the fan for other people who have them (I attached a pic of the fan) to prevent the same issues for other customers.

The technician was here for some time until he "found the issue", but before he did, he tried to sell us on a new unit, stating it was recommended because our unit was not going to last much longer. Our home is only 13 years old, so we proceeded only to do the suggested repairs: a small leak which he taped up and added some freon, which cost $1,600. Exactly two weeks later our AC stopped working again. It was the same issues of the house not cooling, so I knew it had to be the same issue. They sent Adam out the same day. After analyzing the unit he stated, verbatim, that the previous tech "was not honest with us and performed a repair that basically didn't do anything to fix the issue". He even said it was like "filling up a tire with air that has a bunch of nails in it". Mind you, he also stated the first technician no longer works for them. Adam stated the leak was actually much bigger and not what the first tech had even touched. He said however, that our "only" solution was a new unit that would cost $16-18k. This whole process took about 10 minutes at the most, which made the first visit even more bizarre as the first tech was here for a couple of hours and was in and out of the attic, house, etc. At this point we were honest and let Adam know we were thinking about it and going to get a second opinion. We had a senior HVAC tech (who also specializes in commercial HVAC) come out a few days later. He told us a new unit is NOT necessary and FIXED our issue. He also stated that our unit looks good for another 15 years and was actually in great condition. My husband has been trying to get a refund and after 3 weeks, we are still being given the runaround, are being avoided, and have not been refunded. He requested the refund based on the fact that not only did they misdiagnose the issue the first time- but a second time, as again, we were told it was not repairable. My husband has talked to 4 different people all who say the same thing or offer a new "supervisor" to talk to. Yet we never get a call back and my husband just continues to contact them instead. 6/23 he called, and was then called back by Richard from a blocked number. He was very unprofessional and was telling my husband: "things don't work that way" and that they "have to meet in the middle" and that whatever my husband was stating was "here-say". This company not only falsely analyzed the issue once, but twice, as two different techs were not honest on two separate occasions. That, and I would have been conned out of $16-18k. Not to mention I've had to pay for proper repairs, now costing me more than double regardless. My AC is now working great with no issues after having another party repair it. I have pictures, video, and receipts of everything that was performed by my new tech to ensure that my machine was repairable despite what the company had said. I plan on taking the company to small claims court immediately, as no one has cared to resolve the issue and they refuse to have the owner call us. Had I seen a couple of other people here have had this issue also- I would have never used them! It's a shame we almost fell victim to a sales scheme.

After the level of service I've received from Edgar and his team, though, I felt like they deserved the recognition. I've now had two experiences with this company, and both have been outstanding. The first time, my AC wasn't performing the way it should after another HVAC technician had replaced my blower motor. The system was running, but it just wasn't moving enough air throughout my two-story home. Something still didn't seem right. That's when I called Edgar. He came out, took a look, and within minutes identified the issue. He told me, "It's your motor. It's not blowing strong enough." He explained that he could tell right away because the airflow wasn't what it should be, especially for a two-story house. He said I should really be able to hear and feel the air moving much stronger than it was. What really impressed me was his honesty and professionalism. After diagnosing the problem, I asked him what I owed him for coming out. To my surprise, he told me not to worry about it and didn't charge me anything. I ended up contacting the previous HVAC technician, explaining what Edgar had found, and requested a refund for the motor. I then purchased the same motor that originally came with my system and installed it myself. Sure enough, the moment I installed it, the airflow improved immediately and the system started performing the way it should. Edgar was absolutely right. The second time I reached out, I was having an issue with my AC condensate pump and drain line. I wasn't able to get an immediate appointment because they were booked up, but the technician I spoke with was still incredibly helpful over the phone. He took the time to answer my questions and point me in the right direction. Following his advice, I disconnected the hoses and used my shop vac to clear out the drain line. It turned out the problem wasn't even the condensate pump at all. Once I cleared the line, everything started working properly again, saving me from replacing a part that didn't need to be replaced. Both experiences showed me that this company genuinely cares about helping people, not just selling repairs. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional, knowledgeable, honest, and willing to go the extra mile. As someone who works in the trades myself, I really appreciate companies that operate with integrity. Edgar and his team have absolutely earned my business going forward, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy HVAC service.

This isn't the case with RASP HVAC because the service isn't being provided by a "company" but by the man himself. My brand new AC system installed by the home builder started with a leak that left us with issuing a warranty claim after the first year of operation. The warranty repair never sealed the leak and we ended up with a sweltering home in the middle of summer in just a couple years. I found RASP HVAC on Yelp a few years later and after taking to Joseph thought he might be able to find the leak. Even though he wasn't able to find the leak, Joseph went the extra mile to check every component in the system and even some that aren't so obvious or easily accessible. Knowing he couldn't find the leak, he gave me a discount on the recharge. Although I'll have to continue to deal with my home builder's sloppiness, Joseph's honesty and integrity is what sets him apart from all others in the HVAC industry.

They had recommended replacing everything, Hvac units, ductwork AND furnace- times TWO because of our dual units. They Advised to get everything replaced instead of repaired because just the individual repair would be a weeks possibly months long process?? Uhm ok??? So yes- I found myself searching all over Yelp for second opinions. Our service call thru our home warranty out the window - We figured that we might as well replace them seeing as they were going on 20 years old. Within minutes of my yelp search- I found RASP HVAC with all their glowing reviews. Joe the first of several to be able to come out and give me an estimate. I almost stopped the rest of the scheduled estimates after his visit. Why? He was refreshingly HONEST- he wondered why I wanted a quote for ductwork and furnace- because to him- Everything looked fine- and if it were him- he would just do the HVAC Units. WOW. Not to mention he came in at little over 1/3 of price we had been quoted. Everyone else who came out didn't come anywhere close to his pricing. It also was a neat fact that he had some insight into our need to relocate the new hvacs around the corner of our home due to our future pool building as he had his own recent experience to draw from. Overall, my husband and I were both pleased with our choice and how they turned out! Did I mention there are SUPER quiet compared to our last ones?!
