If you're looking for a reliable and honest heating and air conditioning company, look no further. RKM was recommended by our previous air conditioning company (that lost their HVAC technician due to COVID) Dominic came out, he's impressively knowledgeable in every aspect of the company from actually working on a unit, assisting us on a unit that fit our lifestyle and pocket book. Dominic answered every question we had, it was such a pleasure working with him. RKM's employees are wonderful. Dominic, Omar, Brian and Ron were fantastic. If you're looking for a stand up company look no further. Call RKM! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Dedicated team members! read more

The weather was getting hot and our system was going out. Eric came out and assessed our unit! He did an amazing job! He located the problem and fixed it! In a few hours our house was cool. My wife and I were very impressed with his professionalism and the way he took care of us! We will use this company for many many more years! read more

Great service. The service guys were so nice and friendly. I am a new homeowner and honestly didn't even know where my HVAC unit was and they did not make me feel silly. (I'm from Chicago and they are usually in the basement). They came out quickly and we're flexible to my schedule. The dispatcher was so sweet, she was very pleasant to speak with and didn't seem rushed or like she was trying to push anything on me. They wore booties in the house and left absolutely zero mess. They serviced my tankless water heater yearly maintenance today and I plan to use them for more HVAC moving forward as well. There customer service really makes them wonderful to work with. They do respond to their yelp messages to make appointments as well within 24 hours. read more

A voltage issue at SCE's pole outside my house caused some of my appliances to burn out, which included the electronic thermostat. It had been cold at night - down into the 20's and 30's - so I was eager to get it fixed. When I called RKM to diagnose the problem they were booked for a couple days but I made an appointment. The morning of the service call I received an 'auto-text' telling me they were in route, and a phone call from the technician when he was about 20 minutes away. Ron showed up and was very professional, friendly, competent, clean, and respected my property. He determined the HVAC transformer had been burned out as well as the thermostat and promptly replaced it with a new one he had on his truck. Within a couple hours the furnace was working like new and the new thermostat I'd purchased separately (off Amazon - Vine smart thermostat, wifi connected) was controlling it like a champ. Thanks again, Ron! read more

I had them install a Mini-Split System about 2 years ago. This system doesn't quite cool the house like I was told. After paying over $11,000 for this system I am now required to pay them Yearly about $140.00 so that my system is still under warranty. The $140.00 is supped to allow me 1 visit a year where they will come and clean the system. Had them out about 2 weeks ago and now they said I have to pay $440.00 to do a DEEP Clean on 2 of the room systems. So after 2 years this BRAND NEW system, its is going to cost me an additional $600.00. At this rate I am going to spend more in maintenance than I did for the system. There are several other things that I ma not happy about with this company and too many to list here. If I was you, I would look at someone else before selecting them. read more

Excellent service and very responsive. They came to me via a referral and I couldn't be happier. Chris not only installed a new compressor, but provided tips on my old home's system. The work was quick and professional. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Our furnace stopped working during thanksgiving weekend. I called another company and they never showed up when they said they would. RKM sent a technician out the very next day and found the issue within 20 min. RKM gave me some options to prevent the same issue from happening again and they didn't try to up sell me. My house is now warm and toasty. Thank you! read more

The tech was good appreciate his helpfulness and taking the time to explain what he was doing and finding. But being an ex-tech myself and operations manager of a service company, I am very very disappointed in the fact that you charged me $270 for a $70 capacitor, I understand a mark up but that is absurd! Service call fee, labor I understand but when you can't match my warranty item for a few days and sell parts 4 times cost that is a way to never get my business or anyone else I know again. There are other ways to make a profit with out gauging your repeat customers! *******So to all that read this make sure you ask what the part is and model number ahead of time and do your due diligence to avoid being taken advantage of.****** read more

Just had my AC cleaned and maintained by RKM out of Riverside. It was determined that my unit's coils needed a serious cleaning. Richard arrived at the tail end of the expected window. But I knew this because the office had called to advise that his current work order was taking longer than expected. Now for the the meat of this review. Richard confirmed the need and was upfront on the intended quote but advised of the worse case scenario (scary for sure), due to the nature of my unit. However, he was successful in overcoming those potentialities. My system is now working as expected. All this while adhering to my Covid19 protocols expectations. Is RKM's pricing the best? Maybe, maybe not... BUT factor in the quality and thoroughness of the service call. Add the discounts given if you join their "Comfort Club" plus add the layman's explanation of work done and there lays the value. Thank Richard and RKM for bringing the "chill factor" back to my home and family. read more

In response, we were never offered the nitrogen leak test, which your company was going to charge up to $760 for until I called - the second time. There was no dye to be found anywhere, even at the actual leak site. Than you for trying, though. read more

Mathew came out to assess what was wrong with my Air Conditioning system. He was great and answered all of my questions. Ron came out to complete the work and he was also great. He didnt mind me watching what he was doing and answering questions. He was also nice to my dog (more important than being nice to people sometimes). Work was done quickly and now hopefully my AC system is ready for the summer. read more

Air Conditioner went out yesterday and I called RKM and was able to get an next day appointment. When our air conditioning system broke, we decided to replace rather than repair because it was really old. We called more than 20 places and they were the only ones we found that offerred a free site survey. Jynessa, the sales expert was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the different ac units available and did not pressure us one bit to go for a super expensive unit. She haggle with her manager to get us the best price and we got a great unit for a very competitive price compared to other companies. The installers came the very next day to put it in, which was lovely because we'd been with ac for days. Alex, and Julio were their names and they were both very friendly and professional and evencleaned up the floors when they left. I would highly recommend RKM! read more

In short, my AC thermostat went blank for about one hour. I contacted RKM for a second opinion on rooftop Amana unit. First estimate from tech from an outfit in San Jacinto stated the circuit board was bad and wanted $650.00 to replace it along with a capacitor. RKM came out the next day and actually conducted a complete diagnosis and inspection of my unit. RKM tech stated the circuit board and capacitor were both working well? He could not find anything wrong with my unit and suggested it may have been a power-outage that affected my unit temporarily. In todays dog-eat-dog world of less than honest people, It was amazing and refreshing to know honest people with integrity are not extinct. I will be contacting RKM for all my heating and cooling needs from now on. Kudos to RKM for their honesty and. integrity read more

Thank you so much for your help and honest service. I was so concerned that the repairs I needed for my home's heating system would be beyond my budget. Mike came to my home, on time and was very professional. He gave me several options to choose from and I was able to get the repairs I needed right away and within my budget. Thanks RKM. You do it right! read more

Long over due review... My husband and I bought and moved into our house with the furnace red flagged by the gas company. We shopped around and found prices were a lot higher than expected. I read some local business reviews and came across RKM. RKM was able to get us a quick appointment for an estimate. Our tech got held up at his last appointment but gave me ample notice and we rescheduled for the following day. The tech Peter showed up on time the next morning and quickly took a look at the furnace. He walked me through some options and gave me detailed information of the installation process. He also took a look my ac unit and suggested I replace the whole system together for a lower price rather than paying more to replace it separately in a few years. We ended up choosing a 2015 system which saved us $2k. Peter took the time to review all my options for the best price possible. He was super patient and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood the whole process. He was also super professional and was extra careful to make sure he left no evidence of being in my home by using shoe covers, floor blankets and vacuumed up all debris. Peter wasn't there to do the installation but RKM sent two different techs with the same courteous, professional and quick service as Peter. RKM definitely impressed my husband and I in our first new home! They even recently called to remind me we have a prepaid tune-up and it was time to schedule a check up on our system. We have and will continue to recommend RKM to all our friends and family! read more

I called RKM for a heating estimate. Their service coordinator was professional. Even 1 hour before arrival, I received a phone call letting me know. Michael showed up and has booties ready to ensure he wouldn't track dirt in. I really appreciated that. Then I showed Michael my thermostat and he explained the work. He is very knowledgeable and I could tell that he really cares about homeowners. Afterwards we chatted about home automation and other maintenance issues to be aware of. I will be calling Michael and RKM back for all my heating and AC needs. Very professional and lots of integrity. read more

RKM gave quotes to replace and repair a floor furnace that for 50 years heated the entire down stairs of the house but couldn't do either. They then installed a wall furnace next to a fireplace in the far corner of the house that could only heat the bed rooms to a semi comfortable level if the living room was astronomically hot. This was after they had to come out and make adjustments unit in the corner to keep it's pilot light going and fan working properly. Then all they do is ignore any contact you send them. I should also mention they shut the gas off to do this work, turned it back on but didn't light the pilot of the water heater which cost me an additional emergency service out call from another company to get the tenants warm water since I was out of town. Now the tenants are moving out because lack of heat in the bedrooms. read more

I have been loyal to RKM for several years and my technician Mike is highly competent at performing all the tests on the heating and air conditioning equipment. Mike has been here three times total. The pricing is competitive. The office staff aims to please and is responsive. I am not a fan of the online invoices which are too complex and difficult to actually print. On Mike's recent October visit he revealed to me several issues which would require a $1000 investment to fix. Mike pointed out the deficiencies and the pricing to fix them. $1000. Now I would make an educated guess that some if not all of these problems were not new in the last year. I did not press the matter and Mike did remind me that none of the repairs were serious and could wait for a fix. read more

Brent was so very polite an all round great. Love his customer service. RKM will be forever our go to team. I recommend them highly

I researched HVAC companies for quite awhile, through Yelp, BBB, and Google. I finally selected RKM based on other reviews and the services they perform, and I'm really glad that I did. They were very responsive and scheduled an installer the next day. I had an upstairs Master Bedroom that was 10 degrees hotter than the downstairs temperature on hot days. The RKM Installer found and adjusted the air dampers and corrected this issue. I mentioned to the Installer that the air compressor is very loud when starting up. He installed a device to the compressor and now the compressor is much quieter. read more

This place is very reasonably priced and conscientious to their customers by keeping us informed by verifying appointments and letting us know when the tech will arrive. We got Peter; he was on time and very knowledgeable, quickly assessing the issue. Peter was also very patient; we had a girls fun day here that day, and had a sea of little girls and pink toys that he sweetly maneuvered around. Very nice guy. We would definitely use this company again. read more

We just moved to the area and we called around for a quote on a tankless water heater. We met Richard the technician who was so friendly, nice, prompt, and professional. He provided us with the info we need to make an informed decision. He also told us about a program they have called comfort club where they come out and change your air filters and maintain the furnace and AC. We decided to sign up to do proactive maintenance so we aren't caught in the dead of riverside summers without AC. So glad we signed up. We have had the same tech come out to our house each time and they do not disappoint. They also are very mindful of Covid protocols and wear masks and boot covers to keep their customers safe. Thanks RKM!!! read more

Drew and Ron saved me from the heat! They came on time and gave me options on how to move forward with the repair!

I had a recent appointment with this company and I am amazed at the knowledge the technician knew about the heating unit he came to service he took time to answer my questions no hurry he was respectable of the social distancing no pressure to sell me items that I didn't need Robert is a 5 star in my book that is the name of technician will be a returning customer this company is great read more

AC Technician Dominic was professional and informative. He did an amazing job with the maintenance of the ac unit.

It seems that not many contractors do whole house humidifiers in Southern California. I finally found 2 who really understood what humidifiers were. My first contractor gave me a very high quote so I decided to get an alternative quote. RKM gave me a lower but more comprehensive quote. They also found a few things that had not been done properly by my builder. RKM was very patient answering my questions and adjusting the quote to add a WiFi-enabled thermostat. Installation was very professional and the technician explained everything clearly to me and emailed me photos of the installation as the equipment was in the attic. Will definitely use them again. read more

The control for our heater stopped working and we were freezing our rear ends off. I called for an estimate on how much it would cost. The woman who answered the phone was extremely friendly and very confident they could help me. I purchased the Yelp $30 for $50 of work voucher. after the technician arrived. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our entire system was fixed for less than $80! I couldn't believe it! It is rare in this day and age to find an honest company who does what they say they will do in a timely manner. I recommend this company highly. We also need some work on our air conditioning unit and the quote was hundreds less then I received from any other person. This company deserves an A+ read more

Have received only excellent service from this company! They installed a new complete HVAC system about two years ago and everything has been great since. Richard came today to do the spring servicing for the a/c and was very diligent and thorough. Not to mention friendly, knowledgeable, and kind! Ron has been here in the past as well and have been happy with him and everyone. The installation of the system was seamless and followup service too. They both take all the covid safety precautions seriously. No complaints!! Thanks all. read more

Very impressed. We had two attic fans installed today and the entire process was smooth and easy.

Our AC is 17 years old & I was researching either getting a new AC unit or repairs & I had called 2 previous AC businesses before I called RKM. When I called for an appointment their customer service rep was very courteous. Robert was my 1st interaction & he was great very informative on new units or repairs. He gave me more information then the previous 2 advisors or techs. I was wavering on getting a new unit or repairs. He said let us see what repairs were needed & the coat & we would go from there. He did his assessment of the unit & gave me the cost of total repairs & then he gave me a cost for a new AC unit & my options. Due to cost of a new unit & COVId right now we decided on just the repairs. Matthew? came to do the repairs & did a great job. We are signed up for the checkup & review & we are so satisfied with the work that he did. It should last us till we decide on a new unit. We will always go with RKM because of their customer service!!!! read more

This company spent a lot of time coming out and answering questions when we weren't quite ready to commit. We waited a long time to decide, but are very happy with RKM. Our experience hasn't been seamless, but they have been the most important thing to me: RESPONSIVE! That's all I ask of a company (our main issues have had to do more with our internet connection than their equipment). Things happen, but if they respond and get out to figure it out the issue, then I am happy. Yes, without a doubt, I would recommend. read more
