I just wanted to leave a review to let everybody know what a wonderful experience I had with RKM heating. I reached out to them to see about getting a yearly service and I was impressed with the price, but I was more impressed with the fact that the technician came out was very professional Mo was very communicative. Explained the process. Took photos of everything sent them to me so I can review them. In my experience, most technicians just come in do their work and move to the next call understandably. What I found profoundly better with Mo is that he caught a potentially a serious problem arising he explained what was going on. Showed me pictures to prove it to me. He gave me a quote right on the spot. On the would cost to repair it. We decided to move forward with the repair. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I decided to purchase a membership for future services I can't explain enough how impressed I was. He performed his work and a timely manner had the parts on hand which made everything even smoother. Another thing. I'd like to add when I called in to RKM's office to let them know what a fine experience I had I had the pleasure of meeting a super nice lady by the name of AMY that was very helpful and very willing to help and even enhanced the experience even more if that was even possible so I highly recommend utilizing this company for any future repairs or maintenance. As former US Army soldier I feel that my standards are little harder to meet and they met each and every one of them from the technician to Amy the fine experience I had with Rkm . Thank you for your time, and I certainly hope this helps you make a decision. I feel you will be happy. Have a nice read more

I recently had my furnace red-tagged by the gas company due to a gas leak, and they shut off the gas valve in my attic. I initially contacted an air and heating company I've used several times before. Their technician inspected the furnace but failed to locate the leak and instead tried to sell me a new furnace for $6,000. Unsatisfied, I decided to get a second opinion. After reading great reviews online, I scheduled a same-day appointment with RKM Heating and Air Conditioning. That evening, Zach Troutwine, the technician, arrived and performed a thorough diagnostic of my heating system. During his inspection, he located the gas leak at the connection before the gas valve--something the first company missed. He documented the repair area and other recommended fixes with photos and even performed a soapy water test to confirm the leak. For the second appointment, Zach arrived right on time and installed new hard gas piping, completing the recommended repairs efficiently. Afterward, he tested both heating systems to ensure everything was functioning properly. I was impressed by Zach's professionalism, attention to detail, and honest communication. The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the time and care he invested in the job. Thanks to Zach, my heating system is now safe and working perfectly. Thank you, Zach, and RKM Heating and Air Conditioning, for your outstanding service! James Moore Moore Properties read more

I recently contracted a new HVAC system installation through RKM. Installers Daniel Salazar and Rick Martinez arrived promptly, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. They completed what was scheduled to be a two-day job in only one day, showcasing their exceptional efficiency, teamwork, and expertise. Daniel and Rick were incredibly courteous throughout the entire process. They were always polite and took the time to explain everything to me, ensuring that I felt comfortable and informed about the work being done. Moreover, they demonstrated great respect for my property. They carefully handled all aspects of the installation, making sure to protect my home from any potential damage. Their attention to detail was truly commendable. Another thing I appreciated most was how they managed to keep the noise down to a minimum. Daniel and Rick were mindful of the noise levels and ensured that they did not disrupt my daily routine throughout all phases of the job: dismantling and removal of the old system, assembly and testing of the new system. Overall, Daniel Salazar and Rick Martinez from RKM provided outstanding service, and I highly recommend them for any HVAC installation needs. Their professionalism, efficiency, and respect for customers' homes make them stand out in their field. read more

This review is a little late. My old air conditioner was 23 years old and my furnace was 45 years old so I was overdue for an upgrade. RKM installed a new heat pump system last month including all new ductwork. Zach came out first to evaluate my situation. Marc arrived next to go over the specifics of what the job would entail. I was pleased that RKM handled the permit process and arraigned for the subsequent independent testing by Energuy. The installation crew consisted of Daniel and Chris. The crews were punctual and texted me to update on there arrival timeline. I was impressed that RKMs technicians included a photo of themselves with their text messages as an extra level of security. The whole process took two days and these guys were nonstop in their effort. Great work ethic. Afterword, Daniel explained the whole operation to my satisfaction. There was a third worker, I don't recall his name, who facilitated the removal of all the debris from the old ducting. He was fast and did an excellent job of cleaning up. From the first test run of my new system I could tell it was a vast improvement over the old one. Finally, Daniel emailed me pictures of the new equipment including the new duct work in the attic where I could not get to. Very complete job. read more

Leo came out for our bi yearly maintenance today. After changing the filters and doing a total inspection on my furnace he showed me pictures of all the items he inspected. He also showed me pictures of an issue that had started whereas birds were pooping on the vent pipes and seeds from the bird poop were coming back down the pipe to the furnace. He was able to correct the problem during this visit and also recommend other items to consider in the next year or so. I've been using the Care program for a couple years and highly recommend it. The office staff is very easy to work with and appointments are workable around my schedule. Leo is one of the highly trained technicians that have come to my house and has done a thorough job and trained on how to run my unusual thermostat that came with the house ( other companies in the past couldn't ). Also a shout out to Jynessa who called latter the same day to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the service. (Side note: my appointment was originally scheduled a couple weeks ago and when I got the text the tech was on his way I was in the ER with my husband. I spoke to Jynessa who told me not to worry and canceled the appointment at no charge even though the tech was in route.) read more

We had a really horrible heating and cooling system - it could be "improved" but it would never be "right" - Temperatures were always uneven and heating was expensive enough we kept the house quite cool all winter. Air flow was terrible and if we tried to use good filters, everything got worse. We needed a real solution. Robert worked with us to design a completely new system that would have zoned control, be energy efficient and transition us to an all electric HVAC to take advantage of our solar power rather than propane for heat. There were questions we couldn't even answer until we started taking apart the old system and getting the old equipment out of the way - Robert and the team worked with us to make adjustments and solve problems as we progressed to make sure we ended up with the system we wanted. It was a complicated, confusing and space challenged project but now we have a system thats easy to maintain, the whole house is controllable and reaches the set temperatures quickly. It includes excellent air filtration and a huge bonus is that the new system is extremely quiet - both inside and the compressor outside - Very pleased with the result, the workmanship and the team - Mark V. read more

Had my annual furnace tune-up as a member of the Komfort Club. The tech who did my inspection, Jay Zepeda, was very thorough. He did discover a couple of issues that he brought to my attention. He went over the issues and gave me recommendations on what needed to be done to fix them along with the costs and allowed me to decide what would be the best options for my budget. I appreciated his honesty and never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn't need. My furnace is in good condition and ready for the fall/winter seasons. Bonus points for Jay - he changed a kitchen light bulb for me that I would have needed to climb a ladder to get to AND he labeled my fuse box fuses. I really appreciated his offering to do these things for me. He went above and beyond in providing good customer service and quality work. During the inspection I also met with David Stein to discuss a new air conditioning system. David gave me options and the costs to install the new system. Again, I appreciated his honesty in not trying to sell me a system I did not need or want. I did decide on a new system that fits my budget and will have it installed in a few weeks. read more

RKM Heating and Air Conditioning: Reliable and Professional Service I recently had the pleasure of working with RKM Heating and Air Conditioning, and I must say that their customer service exceeded my expectations. Refreshingly helpful and honest! Amy took my call. Wonderful, personable and helpful. I called Friday afternoon for my water heater. She got me an appointment the very next day, first thing. I was given an email and text reminder and a phone call with an arrival time along with a picture of my tech, Pablo, for security. Pablo was respectful, knowledgeable and very thorough. He found a tiny leak that was causing my pilot light to go out randomly due to tank failure. It turns out, my water heater is still under manufacture warranty. Pablo spoke with the rather unhelpful person from the warranty department and was able to help me get the correct info and pictures needed to start my claim. I would have been in deep trouble without him! They were trying to deny my claim! My claim is now being processed and I have booked a separate plumbing job with RKM to install a new p-trap in my shower because this is the kind of company that deserves my business. They will be my go to from now on. Highly recommend. read more

my water heater broke down and unfortunately it is inside the house which makes it more difficult to work on. i called on a Sunday and Monday they came to see what was wrong with it. Ron as always gave me several quotes and choices and I trust what he is telling me because of past experience i have had with my home air conditioners that the company has worked on and he was always on point with what was wrong. Amy is also always helpful with any of my questions regarding what I am getting fixed or getting installed at the time. Ronny the tech who actually installed it is someone that I can tell you has a solution focused mindset. it was not an easy thing to pull out my old water heater out of the closet and I could hear the guys working with him were doubtful but Ronny kept coming up with ideas and a solutions. yes they finally removed the old water heater and installed a new one. such a great team from quote to finish. read more

My 20 year old air condenser finally wore out. RKM Heating and Air came out and accessed my needs and within a couple of days I had a brand new condenser installed and at a price that was more than competitive with other companies. The office staff was always there to help and provide answers to my many questions. Alicia was involved in the process and kept me updated on what options were available along with the pros and cons of each. Bryan was the technician and despite the weather came out on the scheduled day and made sure everything was installed and working good before he left. He was very polite and knowledgeable and even suffered through all my questions about the NEST thermostat he installed. I have used RKM before and highly recommend them for your heating and air conditioning needs. Customer is first here. Thank you everyone at RKM for the great customer service and quality products. read more

Marc has been easy and honest to work with. He has always kept my family's needs in mind without trying to oversell products that weren't needed. I met Marc when my hot water heater busted and flooded out my previous HVAC unit; Marc came to my home and walked me through each option for a new unit that was compatible with our home size and needs. While we navigated through other quotes making sure we made the best decision, Marc was always there to answer any/all question we had without pressing us to make a decision. Once we made the decision, the installation crew was at our home the very next day to install. When the equipment arrived to our home, it was the incorrect unit, I called Marc and he immediately resolved the issue and got the correct unit to our home without delaying the installation process. It's been an amazing experience with RKM; I know we made the right choice. read more

Sooo happy we went with RKM for our new system! They were professional and extremely thorough. Purchasing a new system can be nerve-wracking, but they kept us at ease every step of the way. All of our questions were answered in detail and they delivered on everything promised. Quick process, only took 2 days for full install of new unit and ducting. Every member of their team has been extremely knowledgable, kind and considerate, which was especially appreciated since our home includes a baby, 2 large dogs and a senior that was very sick at the time. We are so happy about our high tech system and finally after years of waiting to upgrade our home is very comfortable. Our attic is very small and we have an addition that our old system could never keep up with. Even with these challenges, RKM problem solved together as a team and still got our new system installed efficiently. read more

My wife and I needed a whole new HVAC system for our home which we just purchased. We had about 3 or 4 different companies come through and quote us, but we just didn't feel confident with moving forward with any of them. I came across RKM and decided to get an estimate with them hopeful they would meet are expectations noticing how great there reviews looked. i have to say, they exceeded our expectations the moment i talked to Robert. Very nice knowledgeable guy. Made me feel comfortable on my purchase . I knew exactly what i was getting. He explained to me thoroughly which is awesome because anyone would want to know what there money is be invested into . Also there team of guys were very kind, and professional. Our initial contact required updating and retrofitting our four HVAC systems. The final bill was within the original estimate. The technicians were very professional and completed the project in a timely manner. So, do the work and walk away? No way! Received calls to insure all systems were working to our satisfaction. They were. Since the installation we have had the technicians complete seasonal maintenance. Their schedule met our requirements and they were on time and completed the scheduled work. The work order was invoiced properly and all work was fully explained. The office staff is excellent and handles scheduling and billing in a friendly, informative demeanor. I agree with the comments submitted by Michael G. (I do not know him!) read more

I called RKM because I noticed my A/C overflow was leaking water. RKM made me their first available appointment, which was only a few days from when I called. My service technician was Morgan Valencia. As soon as he arrived and I told him what was going on he knew what the problem was and said he had similar problems happen before. He was very knowledgeable about my HVAC system and he took care of the problem like it was his own. He answered all our questions and checked, then re-checked all the work that he completed. If Morgan is sent to your home for any HVAC issues, rest assured he will take care of them quickly and professionally. Thank you very much RKM. You did great by hiring Morgan. Justin & Jesus came on time to do a complete HVAC vent cleaning of our entire 2 story house. They covered all furniture and flooring to minimize dust covering our items. All our vents were methodically cleaned as well as the duct attached to our dryer. They also completely cleaned our furnace. Before leaving, they checked that all was working properly. They discovered that the circuit breaker for our A/C unit was not the correct type; and provided us with the information needed for an electrician to correct the issue. They also fully cleaned up all the locations they visited during the service call. Overall, both Justin & Jesus were proficient and professional, yet pleasant and personable. Both are highly recommended. read more

Morgan, service tech, text me to let me know when he would be arriving, and he was on time to inspect and service our HVAC units. Morgan came in with a smile. introduced himself and asked me to show him the units and thermostats. Morgan took time to take pictures and explain what issues we had (the ones I called about).
