This was my second visit to this location. It's conveniently situated right off the freeway, making it easy to access, and there's ample parking available when you arrive. Once inside, you check in and are assigned a lane. The shooting lanes are clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the visit. read more

Excellent time here. Great help, lots of lanes at a affordable price. Offers archery and axe throwing.

Nice place to to shoot and the price is right, customers service was good, they took care of my visit

This was my first time at this range. Heather and staff were extremely kind and helpful with such a great attitude. I observed them treating each one of their customers with the utmost kindness and patience. The facilities here are well kept and cleanly and left me quite impressed. I will definitely be coming out here again. If you're looking for a great Indoor range that not only has great facilities but amazing staff, look no further read more

Closed during regular business hours and the guy at the front desk said it's every second Tuesday or something... he stated it's only open for women. Too bad I left work early the only day I could this week and drove 30 minutes in traffic to make it an hour before closing just to sight in a couple of pistols before an upcoming course this weekend. I couldn't find anything on their website or business hours that stated this to prevented me from wasting my time or making it to another range that sticks to their posted business hours. Maybe designate some lanes when you post business hours open to the public but want to host private events... or update your hours/website. read more

I'll start with the good. The lanes were clean and my group ended up having a whole section to ourselves. Prices weren't too bad either. Now the bad. Just be aware they will check if your rifles are California compliant and they keep your ID until you're done shooting. As soon as we walked in we were met with attitude from the staff. She asked us to read the rules, which we glanced over since we had already read them online. She then made a comment about us just glancing at them and asked in a really condescending tone if we had actually read the rules online. She then started quizzing us on the range rules, including how much time you're supposed to wait between shots. Online it says 1 second, but in person she told us 2-4 seconds because "people don't know how to count." I completely understand enforcing rules, especially at a shooting range, but there's no reason to talk down to customers while doing it. On the way out she was helping other customers and was also giving them attitude about their payment method, so it wasn't just us. Overall the range itself was nice, but the staff really brought the experience down. I would 1000x recommend Riverside Magnum Range over this place. read more

We had my son's 21st birthday celebration there. We did Ax Throwing & shooting. We had da whole back area 2 ourselves & I was able 2 decorate & go all out 4 my son...it was the Best 21st Birthday 4 him...THE OWNER TOM WAS AMAZING..WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

Very disappointed with how the staff treated me yesterday. It's been a long time since I've gone shooting and decided to go with my aunt yesterday. I'm aware I'm very inexperienced, I shot the board and broke it. I let the staff member know and once they looked at it they let me know that I was going to have to pay for it which I had no problem with. They told us to pack up and leave which my aunt and I respected and completely understood. However the staff made me feel extremely dumb, uncomfortable, and embarrassed. Comments like, "aim better" and "wow who shot that" are extremely degrading. I went in excited and eager to learn and ended up leaving embarrassed and put down. Everyone starts somewhere, there is no need to bring someone down for not knowing. Instead I would have loved some tips or knowledgeable advice. Won't be going back. read more

Couldn't be happier with the range! Crystal is the absolute best!!! Couldn't recommend it more, make sure to come when she's here

They are very polite and helpful. Always safety minded. Took my grandson last week. Will be headed over Monday if open!

The range itself is decent - for an indoor range that is. My issue is the stand-off type of vibes given from the staff (primarily what appeared to be the manager). They weren't rude - but it just wasn't exactly welcoming to a first time visitor. We observed how other visitors who have been there before were greeted and treated. The price was fair and targets were cheap. They had ample parking and was easy to access/find. I'd give it a higher rating if the staff was a bit less terse. read more

Best indoor range around, Tom & Alex are always quick to help with any questions/comments i have and overall environment is perfect. Even did my CCW classes here and had 100 questions for Tom during such a busy class and he had the most detailed answers with explanations. overall 10/10, wont be going anywhere else anytime soon for local indoor shooting. read more

My first time coming here went well, staff was friendly and place was well maintained. I got a gold pass and came a second time and staff was pleasant , place was well maintained. I went in today to sight in my red dot and ran into a few issues. Luckily, Alfonso at the front desk took time out of his busy day to help me get it dialed in. He even let me try out his new build, which was an awesome experience. I definitely recommend this place--it's clean, has great airflow and lighting, and the parking lot is much bigger than most in the area. Shoutout to the team at the front desk read more

RISR indoor shooting range, This was my first time to a indoor range in 30 years. Was a little worried about not knowing rules and regulations of indoor shooting. But they made me feel comfortable the second I entered the door. I asked about several procedures like having 2 pistols on the counter at the same time. Pretty simple answer, keep the gun and especially the ammo separated so you don't put the wrong ammo in the wrong gun. They were extremely helpful and treated you with respect. The range was clean and very comfortable (even had AC right above your shooting area). They had much more stuff like archery lanes, gun rentals all of your targets ($1.50 each) $19.00 and $21.00 for lane rental (no time limit) I actually had a great time here. One funny thing that happened, my gun jammed and I could not figure out what it was. Called for the range master who looked at it and said yes, it works much better if you take the safety off. We both laughed a little. I explained I never use the safety and must of hit it accidentaly. Yes, I felt stupid. But nice to know, if you do something stupid (in good faith) they dont make you feel stupid. But bottom line it is a great place to go and you always feel welcomed. read more

I've been coming to RISR for a long time for range purposes, and it is the best indoor range in our area. I have now had the chance to take a course with Tom as one of the instructors and it is a top notch operation. Everything ran smoothly and the entire team at the range was awesome. Donnie with Non-Sheep did a terrific job too. I'll definitely be returning for more courses and recommending it to others. read more

Certain someone here is getting less and less friendly as time goes on. Condescending at times. I recommended a fairly new shooter to try this place and they had a mediocre experience. Pretty sad considering a lot of new shooters are already nervous. Doesn't create a good learning environment at all. read more

A small group of us showed up here, and there seemed to be a little rush of people coming in same time. No big deal, hardly any lanes were taken, plenty of room for all of us. Now, the man giving us all the basic rundown of how things work there was on the side of rude, like we were all a bunch of children. All good at first since we were first timers at their facility, but didn't appreciate the approach. Also, before we arrived we searched the website to see what our limitations were as far as ammo and firearms. Well, turns out some bad apples in the past ruined it for everyone and now shotguns are banned. Would've been nice to see that on the website, but doesn't seem like they're too concerned about that. Now the attitudes. Was not feeling a warm welcome from any single person working here. Whatever, not a big deal but people come from far out to support the place, would be nice to reciprocate a respectful experience. Didn't get it here. I want to support a business who appreciates the business, absolutely didn't get that. Seeing some similar reviews here, I'm not surprised. Just want to reinforce that your business may not be appreciated depending how they feel that day. Pretty crazy. As a small business owner myself, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I treated people the way we were treated that day. Lastly, on the way out I expressed my thanks for allowing the time and opportunity to shoot, but the dude didn't even open his mouth and just kind of looked at us weird. We came in peace, and left confused. Update your website with more clear up to date info, and treat people with more respect, Upped it to 2 stars because there is no time limit, was pretty much the only stoke I got out of that whole day besides being with good friends. Later. I say this with all sincerity, I hope you guys change your attitudes. The signs that say you'll pay $5/bullet hole on the target holder doesn't help the cause either. I'm lucky and grateful to live right by FT3 in Stanton, where there's a superb professional experience in a very welcoming environment! read more

I give 4 stars because this is a good range. I was a regular here. But the only reason why I would come here is to shoot my rifles. Up to 308 cal. Just went in and found out they don't allow anything over 5.56 now. I might as well go to Magnum range down the street (which i used to but..) because 5.56 is the highest rifle caliber u can shoot there too and its closer for me. Honestly sucks but Riverside Indoor lost a customer. FT3 tactical in OC is my go to now. Indoor, allows 12 gauge shotguns and rifles up to 338 Lapua! So I'm willing to make that drive anytime. At 6 PM today, my boyfriend called and spoke directly with a staff member at this location. We were clearly told we could come in and shoot as long as we arrived before 7 PM. Based on that information, we drove 45 minutes through traffic to get here--only to be told the last two slots were already given away to another couple. This is absolutely unacceptable. If there were only two slots left, that should've been clearly communicated during the call. We wouldn't have wasted our time and gas just to be turned away at the door. We called ahead, followed the instructions we were given, and still got denied. Whether or not the couple that was let in made a mistake or not, WE were the ones who called. WE were the ones who were told we had time. This feels careless and disrespectful. I'm beyond frustrated and honestly expect this to be addressed--because your team's lack of communication directly wasted our time and cost us the opportunity to shoot elsewhere. read more

This place is trash, I paid to do my CCW course here and added AZ and Utah, just got my packet back from AZ saying the instructor from Riverside Indoor is not NRA certified. This place is the real deal, super easy to show up and practicing shooting. Took my CCW course here, very informative and engaging as well. My go to spot for an indoor range. The service is fast. The facilities are clean and in good condition. They offer a groupon deal to save you a couple bucks for entry. They have 2 bays for indoor shooting and an area for axe throwing now. Its the perfect place for any novice or expert. read more

(Read Before Coming To This Range) The 2 guys at the front of the desk were very unwelcoming and had a smart attitude. This was my first and last time coming here. One they're very expensive and also charge $5 for shooting the plastic clips that hang the target which is the first of my time seeing such a dumb implement (Scam) Second they have a 1 sec wait time before shooting another round which is completely utterly annoying. Lastly, we brought around three guns and the stations couldn't hold all of them so we set the ar on the chairs they provide and the owners got mad at us moving the guns around which I've never seen. Overall range is nice but the atmosphere and the employees don't know a thing about customer service. Would recommend the spot a few min down. read more

I was pleasantly surprised in coming here. Stopped by for a morning of fun. Usually I get funny vibes working at shooting ranges but this one was really relaxed. Finding the door to enter was interesting as it wasn't marked very well. Located in some industrial building close to the freeway, they offer shooting but I also noticed several axe/ knife throwing bays. Those did not appear open so I don't know the deal with them. The guy at the counter was chill. Way more chill than other places. He went through the required items. A different thing here was you pay for everything at the end. Need a target, just take one and pay at the end, There was no official rangemaster in the range area. The front desk guy was servicing the role with a window into the area. The range was a typical indoor range. The target trolley on bay 2 struggled to come back. You have to fiddle with the button to get it moving. Down side was no tables to stage your kit. Also the doors to the range didn't auto close well. Price for range for ~1.5 hours, 1 rental gun, 50 rounds ammo ($34), 2 targets, 1 ear pro was ~$80. Honestly almost 50% of that was the required ammo for the rental gun. Overall, I was pleasantly surprise. I would definitely come back here. I hope to have the same experience. read more

I brought my father in-law and best friend to come shoot here for the first time and had a very horrible experience with the older guys at the front. A few very bad things happened during my experience. First, we felt very unwelcome from the start, almost like a racist vibe. 2nd we had a worker lady come to our lane yelling at us about supposedly hitting the top board which we clearly showed her we did not as I thankfully took a picture of the hanging board before we started shooting. And lastly the guy quoted me wrong ammo pricing and didn't want to own up to his mistake and he even had it written down. All he said was im sorry it was a mistake and to take it to his manager which is the owner. They tried to even charge me for damage to the hanging board that was already there, only reason they removed the charge was because I had taken a picture before starting. I am so upset at this place as I come from a military family and will make sure everyone knows what kind of staff they got here so they don't waste their money. Ive never felt so robbed and unwelcome. Hopefully the owner sees this comment and makes it right. read more
