Great experience the staff were welcoming and helpful. I had an unexpected issue and ended up speaking with a gentleman named Mike. After finishing the rounds I brought, I noticed my groupings were down and to the left. Since I had just installed a new optic, I thought it might not be zeroed correctly. On my way out, I decided to ask for some advice. Mike was extremely kind and took the time to ask a few questions to understand the issue. He then gave me about 36 rounds, told me to grab a new target, and said he'd meet me in a lane. Long story short, he spent 10-15 minutes helping to figure out the problem and got me shooting in the right direction ;) at no cost. I didn't expect that at all and couldn't be more grateful for his time. I also met Steven, the owner, who was just as friendly and took time to answer my questions about purchasing specific firearms. At no point did I feel like a burden. Thanks again for your time, I'll definitely be back, even with a 30-40 minute commute. It's worth it. read more

I'm a trans woman and I have a standing fear of all gun stores and ranges. They are traditionally places I fear I'll find more people that don't like me because of who I am. But I had a good experience at this range. The staff seemed welcoming and no one was unusually awkward nor starred at me. They were polite and professional all the way. First time at this range and it was very well maintained, well lit, clean, and user friendly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I didn't count the bays but there were plenty and it wasn't crowded on a Tuesday at 11am. I brought my own ammo so I am unsure on their pricing for ammo use there but I was offered a free target with the $19 fee and we went a bit over the hour allotted. The only knock on the place I have is that the motor assembly for the target movement is low for someone of my height and I kept hitting my head. A minor inconvenience. The staff are super friendly & great advisors , the prices aren't sky high either like most places I've been to, just be sure not to come too late because it can get packed before closing. Came here for the 1st time with the hubby for a day date and to practice. The range was well kept & staff was friendly. It's located in a business area and easy to find. We received two free targets of our choosing after checking in, which was a bonus. They even gave us tape to tape on our targets once we were done using the ones we received from them. This place is great I usually go to the Rancho Magnum Range but this one is the best. But the main thing I want to point out is Steve ! He's the best man, I came in with my mom so she could shoot for the first time and he gave me tips and helped me get her acclimated he was super helpful super supportive! It's a smaller range and can get packed on a busy Saturday. Besides taking my R2B class here, I ended up buying several firearms here. A slightly smaller selection, but they are good picks! Hands down the best indoor range in Riverside! I did my CCW qualification here about a month ago. Came back today to get some practice in and it was great. Range is clean and felt safe with Steve as the RSO. Big Lou was very knowledgeable and had great insight on which guns to rent. They had a wide selection to both purchase and rent at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a place to shoot in the IE this should be your first stop. *Repost* LADIES!!! PLEASE be careful when you're visiting this range! For context, they have 2 restrooms (pictured) and the one I entered in has a toilet stall and a urinal right outside of it. Lou was still behind the counter as I went inside the restroom & I DOUBLE CHECKED the knob to make sure it was LOCKED. As soon as I entered in the stall, I didn't even have time to pull down my pants when Lou (pictured in this review, who's an employee), USED his keys to open the restroom and took his time to use the damn urinal. Since I'm in complete SHOCK, I texted my boyfriend to come and check what the hell is going on. Because Lou locked himself in there with me, my boyfriend wasn't able to open the door!! and when my boyfriend knocked, Lou quickly walked out. When I confronted Lou about this, he said he wasn't aware that I was in there which is COMPLETE BS. To make matters worse, Steve who's the owner, came out to apologize and excused Lou's actions by saying he's married and wouldn't do anything like that. Additionally, Steve asked if there's a chance that I didn't close the door right since they're AWARE the doors are faulty, if that's the case, WHY are you not ensuring the safety of customers when using the restrooms?? Steve was so desperate to prevent this review that they offered a full refund which wasn't the point. As a woman, I'm completely disappointed in the handling of this situation and hope this never happens again to another person. I love a good shooting range and this is what I thought I was coming to. While it was a little suspect to me because the scruffy looking guy who looked like Nick Nolte's mug shot didn't even ask for my I.D. He just had me sign my name and he took a look at my ammo and that was it. I read the reviews on Yelp beforehand and this place seemed cool. Well I know this isn't the best range around because I like Magnum up in Rancho Cucamonga. The service is a lot better and it's definitely a lot safer!!! While I was in my shooting bay I saw another guy at the back table with his gun. There's a sign with the rules and one of the rules is to not load your firearm at the back table. Where was the range master at to say hey what the hell are you doing??? When you come here keep your head on a swivel because there is nobody keeping an eye on the range. How can one employee run the front desk and keep an eye on the range??? OK so I got to my shooting bay and put up my targets and started dumping. Oh and you can't mag dump so I'm taking a star away for that. I had fun for sure and there was only two other people there shooting. You pick your own lane which was cool but overall I would come here again but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I came here with my friend to get some live fire practice in order to be ready for CCW training/ test. This was my second time at this range and both times were positive experiences. The counter guy was friendly and talked and joked with us as we waited for some lanes to open up. We didn't have to wait long. The crew inside kept the casings swept up off the floor so it was reasonably clean. I liked the automatic target retrieval switch that lets you adjust distance of paper target at any time. Prices for range time are reasonable as well. You can shoot handguns and also rifles up to .223 cal. This is a great place to get in some range time! read more
