Hands down the best indoor range in Riverside! I did my CCW qualification here about a month ago. Came back today to get some practice in and it was great. Range is clean and felt safe with Steve as the RSO. Big Lou was very knowledgeable and had great insight on which guns to rent. They had a wide selection to both purchase and rent at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a place to shoot in the IE this should be your first stop. Will be picking up a membership on my next visit. read more

Magnum Range sets the standard -- no need to look anywhere else for an indoor range! From the moment you walk in, you feel the energy of a place built for serious shooters yet welcoming to newcomers. The owner, Steave, is knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to guide customers with patience and respect. While I was there, I noticed how the staff interacted -- professional, confident, and focused -- making sure everyone got the help they needed without rushing. This isn't just a range, it's a community. You get the discipline and precision you'd expect, paired with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're sharpening your skills or stepping onto the line for the first time, Magnum Range delivers the perfect balance of safety, professionalism, and hospitality. If you're in the area, don't waste time searching around. Magnum Range is the one you'll keep coming back to. Moe. read more

*Repost* LADIES!!! PLEASE be careful when you're visiting this range! For context, they have 2 restrooms (pictured) and the one I entered in has a toilet stall and a urinal right outside of it. Lou was still behind the counter as I went inside the restroom & I DOUBLE CHECKED the knob to make sure it was LOCKED. As soon as I entered in the stall, I didn't even have time to pull down my pants when Lou (pictured in this review, who's an employee), USED his keys to open the restroom and took his time to use the damn urinal. Since I'm in complete SHOCK, I texted my boyfriend to come and check what the hell is going on. Because Lou locked himself in there with me, my boyfriend wasn't able to open the door!! and when my boyfriend knocked, Lou quickly walked out. When I confronted Lou about this, he said he wasn't aware that I was in there which is COMPLETE BS. To make matters worse, Steve who's the owner, came out to apologize and excused Lou's actions by saying he's married and wouldn't do anything like that. Additionally, Steve asked if there's a chance that I didn't close the door right since they're AWARE the doors are faulty, if that's the case, WHY are you not ensuring the safety of customers when using the restrooms?? Steve was so desperate to prevent this review that they offered a full refund which wasn't the point. As a woman, I'm completely disappointed in the handling of this situation and hope this never happens again to another person. I wonder how Steve can insinuate/explain how I didn't close the door right but can't explain how my boyfriend wasn't able to open the door once Lou was inside. read more

Steve is AMAZING!! The staff here are friendly, and helpful. They are very informative, if you have any questions or need any help.

Had a great time at the range, professional gun store with friendly staff, and all FFL services.

Professional staff and welcoming environment. Felt confident and comfortable to shoot

My family and I have been going to this range for a few years now, the staff here are very friendly, courteous, and helpful, my wife and daughter had taken their basic firearms classes here with Alex Chavez (R2bear.com) and his crew and I have taken my CCW class as well (and now my renewal), they're very knowledgeable This place is family-friendly, they have pistols for rent for new shooters and they will give you basic safety instructions if you've never shot before, I have also done PPT Firearms transfer here a few times as well, and they're very easy to work with. The range itself is a bit dated but still very functional, I have yet to see any non-functional lane whenever I'm there, and I like that they have a backbench/table so other shooters can load ammo while waiting for their turn, they do allow double-tapping, the place is relatively clean You have to get to know when it's slow time or call ahead as sometimes there's a wait time to get a lane, especially on weekends, the range fee is good Overall, I'd say this place can use a little sprucing up (maybe change bathroom lighting as well :) ) but is still our favorite one read more

Great indoor range. I believe it was the owner that went out of his way to provide a small free private lesson when he did a walkthrough checking the bays. Good sense of humor and a great instructor. read more

Great for an indoor range. It's nice they allow double-taps, unlike a competing range up the road.

Called to get an idea of pricing and process before I arrived. Took my BF for his birthday as it was our first indoor shooting range experience. As soon as we entered we were both nerves but they guided us, gave us basic knowledge and kept us at ease in reassurance of a smooth experience. The entire staff was so welcoming! Going into a nervous experience ... and in a blink of an eye we were at our own booth shooting targets. This was definitely a fun stress reliever and I couldn't have had a better experience if the staff wasn't so professionally amazing. Thank u all! Will definitely go here again! read more

People were super nice they all greeted my friend group and helped us out................................

Great place and super friendly. Your first target is free then each additional target is $1. I only have a 22lr revolver so I wanted to rent something as well and they allow rentals only to parties of two or if you're already bringing your own functional handgun. I rented a Springfield XD9. I love testing out stuff and this place was great. Will certainly be back. Rental was $10 with 50 rounds for an additional $20. read more

Love the energy and atmosphere in there. The staff is funny and very attentive. They break it down easily for you and the whole process was very quick! Plus a double win for having the galactic warrior paper target!! I would definitely recommend this spot. You have your own space to move around, place extra items/setup read more

First visit to a civilian range, went with a friend and my son (whom was a first timer)!. Great experience!

My family and I visited this location for the 1st time. The staff really made our experience a great one!!! They're very welcoming, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. My daughter had a hard time with the noise and crowd inside the shooting lanes. The staff stepped in to make sure she was comfortable, felt safe, and taught her a few things with patience and grace. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend others to check them out! Thank you Riverside Magnum for the great experience, you guys are truly the best! read more

Normally this place is great, good polite group that makes you feel welcome.came in a couple of weeks to get practice on two guns I planned to add to my ccw. A 22lr and 22magnum.that day I asked and I was told it would be 26$ to do that. I commented on what a good deal it was, it wasn't I was charged 50$ today. One of you was wrong.!! Anyway checking in and the guy who worked there that there are better calibers to use.REALLY?!? I guess he didn't read my current ccw which has two 9mm,40 cal and a 357.i shouldn't have to justify my choice for backup guns or whatever I carry for. Then he told me it's allowed now for weak old people who can't handle it.dont infer that I am in that group. I'm 68 , good health and still working in mechanical dept in an oil refinery working with my hands, back and brain always pulling my weight. After I qualified and the worker is filling out my score sheet again he starts by telling he told his wife not to use anything smaller than a nine. WOW! Tell your wife I can decide on my own. I've been shooting guns since I was thirteen. First time was a 1911 45 and a bolt 30.06. I am well versed on many handgun and rifle calibers thru the years. Up thru 50 cal auto and full auto on selector m16a1 in the army. Talk to kids and teach them.they need it. The 22's were not my primary's. And what's the correct price ?? read more

Took a basic pistol class here. Highly recommend. Very kind people who are patient and informative. I had lots of fun!

I buy my reload ammo here. They are patriots! They have women behind the counter. Such a great thing to see. They are reasonable and have a lot of stock. I support this business read more

Super friendly and clean. Nice to spend an hour here. It gets busy but not too bad. Ammo prices are fair. Facility is clean.

best range in riverside, respectable people that always look to help. they also have a wide array of guns to choose from if it is your first time read more

Mike was a great gun safety instructor and Luis was friendly. Took my family here for their first time indoor shooting range experience and all of them had a blast. Will be back for more fun! Highly recommend for 1st timers! read more

I am using my wife's Yelp for this review, You walk into a range for some practice and walk out with a new P365(after 10day wait, of course). I frequent the range a few times a month just to get some rounds out, its local, convenient and the staff is always friendly. I can say I enjoy my time there.I look at the pistols on display at their new pistol sales section, Slide and Cylinder, great choices by the way. Finally decided to pull the trigger, pun intended, and got the P365. They had the XMacro as well and believe I've even seen the legion there. Pain free process, had all mynecessary paperwork, filled everything out, 10 days later picked up my pistol. Decided to get a Holosun 507k for it the same day, they had both red and green dots, variety is always welcomed. They put it on the pistol for me, no extra charge. I gotta say prices are competitive, yea you can go to a big chain store and maybe save a few bucks, but you gotta support your local small business. Glad I went with them, and will be going with them for future purchases. read more

My wife and I wanted to shoot guns for the first time. We searched a lot of gun ranges near us and decided to try the Magnum Shooting Range. It did not disappoint! The staff are very nice, knowledgeable and helpful with giving you guidance from first time shooters to experienced pros. We did our safety class with Michael, super funny and very knowledgeable in teaching both my wife and I on the proper & safe way to handle a hand gun. Prices seem reasonable in relation to other ranges we searched as far as costs for the lanes, gun rental, safety gear, etc. I would highly recommend this place for any first timers who want to learn the correct way to handle and fire a gun. Can't wait to go back and try other guns! read more

This was my first time at this gun range and my experience had me questioning why I tried somewhere new. First off the place is a bit run down and small. Now for my experience, when I came here with my relative I was waiting for a lane at the range, in the meantime I was looking at the handguns and had a question about a particular handgun with a compensator on it, I asked the man behind the desk questions on the legality of it so that I could go about putting one one mine. He responded very rudely and after not getting clear confirmation I asked for clarification and he continued to be rude and give me the same answer, so then I asked the same question again and he continued with the answer of "it's legal" which I understood but I wanted a more in depth explanation so that I could get one myself. Anyways he continued to be rude and rolled his eyes at me so I decided to just walk off (it was a smelly looking man with long dirty black hair). I then waited near the front for my lane and another employee walks inside the building and passes me by and the makes his way back to me and then approaches me and tells me that I smoked marijuana before I got here and that he can smell it and that if this was the case I need to leave and I'm not allowed on the range. I was very confused, I've never smoked marijuana in my life and never been accused in such a way, I drive semi trucks for a living so I can't smoke thc. I reassured him that I don't smoke and he continued on. I was in disbelief as I was with my father and couldn't believe that in the span of 4 minutes this way my experience. I don't know if it's because I was new or because the brown color of my skin but I felt targeted and unwelcomed. I can't say for sure but all I know is I won't be returning here again and if you're looking for a new place to shoot or buy a gun don't come here!!!!! read more

This place is awesome! Just went today. It's literally 2 minutes from my house. The staff is super friendly. The price is $17 ea or 2 for $30. (Same lane) you can buy paper targets (a lot to choose from) for $1.50. VERY affordable compared to other places. Kinda warm inside but they do have like a window AC and fans. 10/10 recommend. I'll be coming here from now on.** forgot to mention, no wait at all. Couple lanes open, (Thursday around 4:30/5pm) read more

If I'm not shooting outdoors then I go to RMR. I have been to many indoor shooting ranges and this one is my favorite. Their Rancho Cucamonga Range is also a great place to shoot. I now regularly visit the Riverside facility because I'm now closer. The employees are friendly, helpful and create a safe environment. The range is clean and has decent ventilation. Prices are reasonable and they have everything you need to make Range day enjoyable; targets, ammo, gun rentals, etc. They also have some firearms available for sale at very reasonable prices. If you require some firearm cleaning or minor adjustments they have a small shop onsite. Lottery tickets are also sold here. Remember always keep the firearm pointed down range at all times and keep your booger finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. read more

I've been going to Magnum for a little over 3 years now. I never had a complaint. I know most of the people working there. I did my class for my CCW and going again for my renewal. Love out door ranges when it's cooler and for my rifles for long range shooting but for travel time and A/C Magnum is my first choice. I go only during the week so I can shoot longer, that's any range, and take my time. Due to the amount of people weekends you are limiter to an hour of range time. What ever your schedule make time hit the range and andnever stop fighting for yourt 2A right read more

My 2nd time here, first time experience was OK. My second visit not so great. The front counter clerk called my AR-15 an assault rifle lol and that it's illegal since I had no Mag lock or Fin grip. (Keep in mind I've brought this AR here before) he forced me to take the upper apart before leaving. They proceeded with watching us during our time in the shooting bay. read more
