Drove it to Norco, back passenger door was making ungodly noises that had this mama concerned for the safety of her kids in the back, so I called over and the female rep (only person I did not catch the name of the-sorry!) was super nice and efficient, told me to bring it back no problem. I get back and she has me on the list for an exchange, no questions asked by any of the staff, just a simple "we want you to feel comfortable and safe in our cars". Love this. While I was waiting for the exchanged van I was able to witness an exchange between Lawerence and an older lady over a pair of missing shoes she had left in a rental some time ago. Lawerence was so nice and patient with the lady (mind you I'm just listening to the whole exchange and wanting to bang my head against a wall). The lady wasn't mean or anything, but she just repetitive, not comprehending what was being said, etc etc during what was approximately a 15 minute exchange.... So my Ford was exchanged for a Mercedes-Benz van... It looked so nice and I felt it was for sure an upgrade *but* I actually turned it down due to it being a diesel and with fuel prices being what they are/the duration and distance I would be driving it. Again staff member Chris, being so patient and so nice, did not make any problem finding me another Ford passenger transit van even though they had to clean/process one that was not quite ready. Seriously I was feeling like such a problem customer myself at this point but they were all smiles. New van feels safe, clean, and I'm confident in driving it around.

We drive up the coast and as the sun hits the window it's so dirty that I could write on the inside of the windshield- We had to get off the freeway and clean the windows, first day- 5 hours after leaving. Then in San Jose on the freeway we get a flat tire and NO SPARE! FML I called my AAA and Avis (who wanted to charge me an arm and leg for help) After several phone calls in an hour later We were told to go to the Avis by the airport The tow truck driver couldn't get his truck that had a flat flatbed to the Return center, and the people at the counter made him take it to another location We're now sitting stranded in the lobby We lost $40 on a lunch reservation And I'm worried that we're not gonna make it to the show I would never rent from Avis again The lady at the counter was nice enough but I am still super frustrated. He is kind, patient, understanding and very helpful. The car insurance initially approved a sedan sized vehicle, but he informed me that they should provide a vehicle of a similar size. I reached out to the adjuster and got approved for an upgrade! My son was with me both times and Jeff was friendly to him as well. I would not hesitate to come here again. Car accidents and car rentals can be such a headache. Thankfully Jeff made an unfortunate situation better with his excellent customer service.

Terrible customer service and confusing billing at the Enterprise on Van Buren. I'm confused as to…read morewhy Alexis is mad at me? What did I do? When I first booked, Alexis told me the vehicle I wanted was available. When I arrived, it wasn't. Instead, I was offered a gas guzzler after I had already explained that I didn't want one. I ended up driving all the way to Beverly Hills to get the vehicle I had originally requested. About three weeks after returning the rental, another charge appeared on my credit card. Alexis told me it was for a toll violation or a ticket. I explained that I hadn't used any toll roads and called the number provided. The representative confirmed that the charge was not for a toll and directed me back to the rental location because that location had charged me. Even after I explained this, Alexis continued insisting the charge wasn't from their branch despite my credit card statement and invoice identifying Enterprise at that location's address. I still haven't received a clear explanation for the charge. The invoice Alexis gave me when I returned the car also did not include all the charges appearing on my credit card statement. After contacting Enterprise again, I finally received a complete invoice. Because the original invoice was incomplete, my insurance reimbursement is currently about $1,000 short. Alexis promised to investigate and call me back. As of 5 p.m., I still had not received that call. I've gotten conflicting information and the runaround from two Enterprise locations. This experience has cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. I strongly recommend avoiding the Van Buren location. After this experience, I will never use Enterprise again.
