She did a great job w/her recommendations although I was so indecisive she was kind dealing w/me changing my order too many times. I wanted to try everything and couldn't make up my mind. I ended up ordering a pot of gold and I mopped up my plate. Nothing was left lol I didn't think I was hungry but once I had a bite I just kept going hahaha I had a side order of corned beef hash and pancakes on the side. I was so full from my main course I didn't even eat my sides. For the price and amount of food, you can't beat this place. My son got a big breakfast and he couldn't even get to his side either. My husband mopped his omelette up. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese w/sweet fries and she finished that too. Another daughter got a chicken caesar salad? She seemed to like it. Another daughter got a small breakfast and raved about it all day and is asking to go back for her birthday. Service was great! Our food came out warm, delicious and served with care. It got so bad that our waitress brought us beignets and apologized profusely for the delay. When the food finally arrived, one person ordered pancakes, another had a hamburger with French fries, and I ordered the avocado toast. Everyone else's food was satisfactory, but unfortunately, my avocado toast missed the mark. The waitress could see my disappointment and apologized. She explained that there was a new person in the kitchen running things and offered to have another avocado toast made to see if it would be any better. The second one was definitely better, and I appreciated her making the effort to fix the situation. She was very kind and did her best under the circumstances. That said, the extremely long wait was disappointing, especially when we watched other tables who arrived after us get their food in a much more timely manner. I understand that restaurants can have an off day, but waiting nearly two hours for a meal really put a damper on the experience. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be revisiting on our next trip.
