Ambiance is similar to a 50s diner. Music playing in the background. Decor with 50s cars and motorcycles. Booths that are plushy and vinyl. Service was the most interesting part. You seat yourself. Phone order your entire order. Grab you own drinks, utensils, and condiments. Once you order is ready they ping you and you pick up your food at the counter. Essentially this restaurant is manned with 2-3 bussers and cashiers. Kitchen is staffed with 3-4 cooks. Food is American style brunch, breakfast, lunch and dinner theme. Prices are very good and has a lot to offer for everyone. For example Chicken Fried Steak with fixins for under $12, wow. In this day and age of inflationary prices and ridiculous egg prices, the one man band serves up classic American dishes at classic American prices. Worth a try if your near North Utah County / Lehi - American Fork area.

Hungry meal, holly cow you better be hungry this plate could easily feed three people! Fantastic coming back to this place!

You better be hungry if you're coming to this place with the food is fantastic. Prices are great and the portions are huge awesome

What a fun concept! You order your food from a phone, they call you when it's ready, and you grab your own coffee/beverages and condiments while you wait. It's so simple and yet the execution is flawless. Even for a couple of first timers like my friend and I, we had no problem figure out how everything worked. And we loved it! The food is better than I expected! It's top notch cafe/diner grub, in my opinion. The Crazy Eights are what fried food dreams are made of. You have to get an order (or two) for the table. The burrito was simple, but delicious. And the French toast had the perfect balance of chewy & softness. We loved everything! It's seat-yourself, so you may have to wait for a table to be cleared but the staff is quick to clear used tables so you won't be waiting long. Everyone should try One Man Band at least once. If nothing else, go for an order of the Crazy Eights.

The service was amazing! The food was delicious, besides the hash browns, they were kinda cold and wet. I love ordering through the phone and their scones and crazy eights are to die for!!! It's very old fashioned, and that's what makes it great.

No nonsense diner with one or at most two people manning the kitchen. You pick up the phone at your table and put in your order for the entire table. There's a light/sound next to the phone when the food is ready. Go up to the counter and pay when you pick up your food. No fuss no muss. The service was super fast. The food was fine for a diner. Nothing too special but for the quick service and low cost I would totally recommend.

They need more help / staff and quality controls at One Man Band. Went in on a Saturday evening. 3 staff trying to do it all is just not enough. We waited over 45 mins to get our food. When it did come, one of my kids corn dogs was cold..The other kids grilled cheese had cold un-melted cheese in the middle too. While the server was apologetic, the two cooks just could not keep up with the volume and so clearly were rushing things and putting out food that wasn't quite complete.

Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.

They all were so good that we couldn't agree on a favorite. Breakfast burrito and ube pancakes for mains. The burrito was STUFFED with delicious chorizo, cheese, egg, and veggies. Wrapped in a super large tortilla then grilled for crispy exterior. Served with a fantastic salsa with hints chipotle heat. Great flavor but not so much that it buries the flavor. The ube pancakes were also incredible. Four large, lightly crisped cakes topped with ube whipped cream, blueberries, blueberry syrup drizzle, and a mint sprig. First bite was so good that I didn't talk for at least five minutes, so I could shovel in more and more. They came with a side of syrup, but it was definitely not needed. I'll certainly be back to try more menu items, but it'll be hard to resist temptation of the burrito. I tried the meat on both the birria hash and carnitas hash and I'd have to say I prefer the carnitas over the birria! Because it was Father's Day they also sent the dads away with a bottle of root beer, which I thought was fun. I would definitely recommend and will also go again and try something new. We did end up getting there around 9:30, which was great timing. When we were leaving there were a lot of people waiting around for their table.

Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. They practically melted in our mouths and were worth the visit all on their own. If you're looking for an outstanding brunch spot in Utah with creative dishes, generous portions, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Sunday's Best is an easy recommendation. I recommend joining the waitlist in advance. It's tough to choose from such a wide range of delicious options, but my go-to pick is always the Mixed Berry Dutch Baby, Baby! The berry syrup and cream cheese topping set it apart from other breakfast places. We also had the Classic Breakfast Special, with crispy bacon cut thick to perfection. The interior is one of the most distinctive things about the place. Nearly all the Art Deco furnishings, the booths, mahogany paneling, black glass counter, and light fixtures, were salvaged from Lamb's Grill, a Salt Lake City restaurant that had operated since 1919 before closing in 2017. Eating here feels a bit like dining inside a piece of Utah history. The service is usually excellent, and you can tell they take the motto behind their name seriously: "True service is true religion." This visit, our waitress did seem in a rush to turn the table, but the quality of the food made it easy to overlook. Worth noting: they run a Second Chances charity that supports people in recovery from addiction, those reintegrating into society after incarceration, and folks rebuilding after financial hardship or other life challenges. It's a meaningful mission, and it's part of what makes this place feel different from your average breakfast spot.
