There were 5 or 6 workers and everyone was working on people sitting at the bar. Our server had tables on both sides of the restaurant and was working on bar patrons while some of the others stood around and talked. I felt bad for her. At the time, the restaurant was not even full so there was no reason why service couldn't be better if the other girls actually worked a little. Our friends went to the bar because our server was so busy and the other girls working paid no attention while they continued holding a conversation with one another. Hopefully service improves because the food and drinks are not bad and it's a fun place to watch sports events.

We then finally got a different bartender who took our food orders. We ordered a steak salad, a chicken salad, a taco salad and a Pittsburgh salad. It took a very long time to finally receive our food. The taco salad meat was way overcooked and hard. The steak, chicken and Pittsburgh salads were good. A totally different server brought our checks, and three of them were wrong. Not the best experience.

Upon entering the dining area I pretty big they have a pretty cool light fixture and the ambiance is nice. Once we were sat we asked if there was a drink menu. The waitress though nice, said no. When we asked about a wine list she again said no. I have never been to a restaurant where they did not have a drink menu..... we ended up getting our usual seltzer. The menu had a decent assortment and my boyfriend loves linguine and clam sauce. We are gluten free so it was going to have to be penne but it was nice it was an option. He said he liked that they gave him a lot of clams and it wasn't a puree but there was hardly any flavor at all. I ordered the Caperese Chicken with gluten free penne..... from the picture it looked good however, the chicken was so charred all you could taste was the grill. The only thing that has some flavor was the pasta. It had a faint garlic taste. The server though friendly didn't check on us that often and our food took over 45 minutes to come out and it wasn't busy. Im not sure if we just came on a one off night but the food just wasn't good. The drinks though had a pretty good price point. I'll come back for the drinks and id skip the food.

We had fried pickles, a sunshine salad (as a side salad), and a couple of hot dogs--the bacon dog and the Picklesburgh dog. Pickles were a tiny bit greasy but crunchy and substantial. The side salad was absolutely delicious with lots of textures and crunch, both acidic and a little sweet all at the same time. I would order it as a dinner salad for sure. I didn't try the bacon dog, but my husband liked it. The Picklesburgh dog was a delicious mess--truly, it was so messy--but it was crunchy and salty and briny, and totally worth ordering next time I'm in the mood for a dog.
