Stopped in for takeout. Service was friendly and order came out in good time. Rather large dining area and large outdoor seating on edge of parking area. The tacos were really filled. Ordered the Carnitas and Barbacoa, both were very flavorful with some nice spiciness.

Love the overall vibes but the food and service fell flat on our visit. They have a both huge indoor and spacious outdoor seating areas. We made reservations for a Friday at 5 PM, but we were the only table there, aside from some people at the bar. We were seated immediately but didn't have a server come over for about 10 minutes. Once we were waited on, the food came out quickly. Everything was okay but nothing to rush back for. The house margarita was very good, though, and it looked like they had some great happy hour specials.

We stopped by on Thursday night. The outside has a patio with plenty of tables with umbrellas and the inside is huge with multiple booths and tables so it's great for groups! The staff we interacted with was pretty nice. The food we got was pretty solid and reasonably priced. The nachos are only $6 during trivia for a large portion. We really liked the Watermelon Dulces cocktail! The cali fries were good and so were all the tacos we got. The peach cobbler tres leches had more of a cake texture than a tres leches texture but it still tasted pretty good.

A group of four of us went to Doce for trivia night recently, and we had a blast. We started with the Cali fries, loaded nachos, and tacquitos, and they were all delicious. The sauce that came with the tacquitos was to die for. It was tangy and not overly spicy, and it paired perfectly with the ingredient blend in the tacquitos. We also tried the watermelon and horchata cocktails, and we loved them. The watermelon dulces cocktail was phenomenal; the rim was partially coated in tajin, which was the perfect balance of spice to go with the light sweetness of the watermelon. It's hard to pick just one favorite taco out of the variety we were served, but I am a chorizo girl through and through. The meat was so, so tender, and the spice blend was perfect. We also tried the potato taco, the fish taco, the chicken taco, and the Americano. All were phenomenal. We finished our visit with peach cobbler tres leches. This was something I normally wouldn't order, but it was so, so good and I'm glad we took the chance. The trivia was also a blast! Someone in your party will need to dedicate their phone to trivia and you'll all need to have fast fingers, but it's a great group activity! We ended up placing second. Doce is a great place to go to with family or friends. Give it a try!

Chicken burrito (supposedly the chicken is somewhere in there amongst all the rice)

Had lunch with my son on a Friday afternoon. We were promptly greeted and seated by the hostess. Our waiter was kind, efficient, with the perfect level of attentiveness. Purchased tortilla chips and red salsa - chips were a bit stale and desperately needed salt. I went to add some salt, but there's no salt, pepper, napkins OR hot sauces available at the booths/tables. (NOTE: When the food arrived the waiter instinctively brought more napkins and asked if we desired hot sauce which he later brought). It's our opinion that the salsa was marginal at best. Chicken burrito was overflowing with rice, but sparse on protein. The brisket chimichanga was a little more generous. Maybe this restaurant could be a 2.5.

This is the third and newest location of Doce Taqueria and is located in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center. I had been excitedly waiting for them to open for many months, and today was the ribbon cutting and Grand Opening. After the ribbon was cut, I was one of the first people to be seated. I ordered two tacos, some slaw, and a Mexican Coke to drink. The server brought my Coke, and then I sat there for about an hour, when the server stopped to see if I needed anything, and apologized for the food taking so long. Now normally, I wouldn't give a bad review to a new business on opening day, but when people who arrived well after me were getting (and some finishing) their food before I even got mine, well, I had waited long enough. I waited for over an hour and a half and still had no food. I got hangry, left a tip and walked out ... First impression = NO CHEERS ... should I give them a second chance? P.S. The music here is VERY LOUD!!!

Doce Taqueria - the spot for taco & margs! But they also have so much more amazing menu items! If you're craving authentic Mexican street fare with a touch of LA-inspired touch. Doce Taqueria in Bridgeville is a must. They have three locations but I just checked out the newest in Chartiers Shopping Mall. The vibe is perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. The ambiance is casual yet vibrant, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I loved their margaritas and they have a specialty cocktail- Watermelon Dulces that's was so good- reposado tequila, agave, and tajín. It's the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. The Cali fries are insane --crispy shoestring fries tossed in Doce's signature seasoning, topped with steak, queso blanco, pickled jalapeños, cilantro, and cojita. It's a savory explosion in every bite. The smoked lemon pepper chicken wings are a must-try, perfectly cooked and paired with a spicy ranch that adds an extra kick. And they have a wing night as a daily special! The street corn is another standout, seasoned to perfection. The Birria Melt IS SO GOOD! Oaxaca brisket, gooey cheese, and a dipping sauce served with fries--pure perfection! The tacos are super- fresh, tasty and so many options. I went with pollo and carnitas both outstanding! Don't skip on the dessert- The churros are crispy and sweet, but the Pineapple Upside-Down Tres Leches Cake is something out of this world. They offer seasonal tres leches giving you something to always want to go back and try!

I dipped it in the ranch that was for the macaroni bites. Cheesy macaroni bites 8/10 Not bad. Good with both the cheese sauce and the ranch. Pretzel bites 7/10 Not a huge soft pretzel fan so they were just fine. Nothing wrong with them, I just personally didn't like them but that's not a reason for a bad rating. The cheese sauce was super spicy, which is why the rating is a 7. Chips & salsa 10/10 Good salsa!

My most recent visit to Condado was on a Monday this past August. I met up with several of my…read morefamily members to enjoy an evening together. This Condado Tacos location is within South Hills Village mall. You still see it from the road, as it is on the outer part of the mall. It has signage on the exterior, but the main entrance has you going into the mall and entering through there. The patio is accessible from the outside. There is no shortage of parking options here, since it is within the mall. If it is a busy shopping day, the parking might be a little ways away. However, you should be able to find a spot! Since it was so nice out, we opted for seats on the patio. There are plenty of seating options both inside and out. Outside has typical tables and chairs. The inside has those as well, along with bar seating and bar-height tables. We visited on a Monday around 6:00 PM, and it was not terribly busy. We were seated immediately, and got to choose where we wanted to sit. Our waitress was kind, quick, and attentive during our whole visit. The group decided on ordering the Three Buds as an appetizer. This is essentially a dip trio with your choice between several Quesos, Salsas, Guacamoles, and Mexican Street Corn dips. We chose the Corn Salsa, Traditional Guacamole, and Queso Blanco in the Full Size option, since it was shared amongst five people. These came with chips for dipping, of course. Everyone loved the different options of this! I personally appreciated getting to pick between a lot of different dips. This would be a great appetizer to appease a crowd with several differing palates. For my entree, I chose two tacos: the Lucy's Fire and the Braised and Confused. The Lucy's Fire had corn on it, which I really liked. The unique jicama and cabbage slaw on the Braised and Confused was a nice addition. Both were really good overall! I thought they were both a great size that definitely filled me up, especially paired with the dips. I thought the value for the items I ordered was there. Though some of it may seem a little expensive on paper, the portions were fair for the price. I remember this restaurant being somewhat pricey from previous visits, but it was not as bad as I recalled. It had been a few year since my last visit, so my memory might have been a little off there. Though I did not get any, I thought the prices on the burritos and bowls were very reasonable. I suppose it will just depend on what you order if you find the value to be there! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with this visit to Condado! As stated, I have been here in the past and really was never super impressed. I enjoyed everything I ate on this visit, along with the great service received. The prices were fair for what I ordered, and I appreciated all of the different options. I would return here for a visit in the future, and would recommend giving it a try if you are looking for some Tex Mex food while in the South Hills Village area!
