Ok. So I am kind of adding the bar experience with the dine in experience with the AMAZING live music from Grace experience! Folks this is a solid place to grab a good bite to eat hang with friends. Share some good drinks and listen to amazing live music! Service was very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff could use another bar tender on Fridays and Saturdays when there is a big event at the convention center going on. But drinks were great and plenty of amazing beer on tap!! Food was not bad. Fish and chips were good. Not a fan of the fact that the only burgers they had were smash burgers. I like a good solid burger to be honest. Shrimp basket was good. Wings not bad. Clam chowder was also a good pick. Now. Onto GRACE!!!! Love her voice. She plays the guitar and piano! And has a great selection of Soung's to sing!!! Hope you all get a chance to hear her! We just went for Restaurant Week, summer, 2026. OK, so, first, they no longer validate parking, and if you park in the hotel garage, you are gonna pay big time. The burger was mediocre, at best - never asked how I wanted it cooked. Caesar small salad was good, fries were OK, milkshake was meh. Our server was wonderful (Jim.) Located downtown on Liberty Ave in the Westin Hotel complex. Nice menu with a variety of menu items, not just burgers. A restaurant part of the Landry's Select rewards program. A large dining area perfect for large parties. Nice big bar area with a nice selection of draft beers and a variety of different liquors. Clean and well organized bar. A nice Happy Hour that includes $2 off draft beers, $6 house wines, and 1/2 off select appetizers. The Westin Hotel is the host to all of the visiting sports teams. Depending on the reservations at the hotel often dictates the busyness of the restaurant. Nice, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always get thank you's from the staff for being a Landry's Select member. A nice rewards program that includes a free birthday meal. All in all a nice burger spot with a warm hometown atmosphere. Meh.... Not the best burger in Pittsburgh by any means. Moonlit is 100x better. Service was lackluster & prices were high. You're looking at $25 for a burger & a coke. I was surprised how busy it was for being in a hotel lobby, but I guess it's because they weren't turning tables too fast. Stopped in during the NFL draft for dinner. Server was able to seat us quick. Playoff hockey was going on for the Pens so vibes were high here. Quickly glanced the menu and went with bills burger and a vanilla shake. We got the large pretzel for the table. Pretzel was huge and had a beer cheese and a honey mustard dipping sauce. Both were delicious. The burger itself was so buttery and flavorful. Vanilla milkshake tasted like it came from an old ice cream parlor. So good! read more

Solid spot in downtown Pittsburgh with quite an expansive space to spread out in and enjoy. When I came by Bill's Bar & Burger, it was later in the evening when they had apparently ended the food service already....so for this visit at least, I'll only be able to review the 'bar' part of Bill's Bar & Burger. The service itself was very friendly from both the hostess and the bartenders - the main issue I had with it was how difficult it was to actually get their attention. I waited several minutes at one end of the bar and eventually went over to another part of it and waited a few more minutes before finally getting the attention of a bartender so that I could order myself a pint of an ale. It's not like there weren't several bartenders going back and forth behind the bar the whole time either - which is why that was a little frustrating to deal with. Nevertheless, the vibes inside were great. It had a warm, cozy feel with the lighting and decor, lively with some people enjoying drinks on the Friday night I was there, and my winter ale was very enjoyable & tasty! Bill's Bar & Burger looks like a great dining spot for hanging out in Pittsburgh - I'd love to return on a future visit to the area and give one of their burgers a try. Stopped back here for the first time in years. I had some bad experiences in the past, but was happy to see things have changed for the better. I went with the blackened and bleu burger. It came with two smashed patties, bleu cheese, bacon, onion, and garlic mayo. I ordered it with the regular bun, instead of the pretzel. The burger was delicious. Everything was super fresh and hot, which was impressive since we had a group of 7. The flavors all came together perfectly for a great burger. I probably ate or drank at this spot every other day when I was staying in the hotel. Was it amazing, no but was it good, sure. And the staff was great so that gives them the 4th star. It was convenient and just downstairs so that made all the difference. The HH 1/2 off appetizers is a particularly good deal. read more

My lowkey late night spot tucked away at the Marriott hotel in downtown Pittsburgh the service is always pleasant and the food as well I love the fresh cut Fries and burgers of course. They also have a massive chicken sandwich I recommend trying it. read more

Because of the location (in the lobby of the Westin in Pittsburgh), my husband and I, who were visiting from Philadelphia, expected this place to be somewhat more elevated and evolved than it was. However, it felt more akin to a sit-down self-serve affair at a highway rest stop. Gloomy. Chilly. Cheap. Mostly empty at noon on a Thursday. Large-screen TVs glowing in every corner. A surly bus-person gave us an accusatory look as we were seated by a bartender who might very well have had a smoky laugh. Our drinks were a gin concoction with mint and strawberry, which was okay, and a very bottom-shelf Sauvignon Blanc, which had none of the characteristic citrusy-mineral charm but rather tasted like a miniature served aboard Frontier Airlines. Main dishes included a salad topped with tough, bland grilled chicken breast and, curiously, French fries, and a "smash burger" with a pretzel bun. Each earned a C- and we came away wondering at the Westin's convictions with regard to culinary quality. read more

I was in PIT on business and after looking at DoorDash to see what's available, but ultimately, I decided to eat here, bc their menu looked appealing and to my liking and convenient. I decided on Guacamole with tortilla tips, Beyond burger(came with fries)and Chocolate cake. I'm going to be very honest and fair. To me, I didn't think that the guacamole was all that. I wasn't blown away, but it wasn't the worst. It came with salsa and pico de gallo. Salsa tasted like it was a store bought and pico, I put it on my beyond burger. It tasted good. Beyond burger was good, but I could probably had done without the pickles as I'm not a big fan of pickles and they kind of tasted sweet. The fries were delicious with side of mayonnaise(I love mayonnaise with my fries). I really didn't need Chocolate cake, but I was jonesing for something sweet, so I ordered it with coffee with cream. It was very delicious. My server was very friendly and attentive and the runner guy brought my food and cake very fast. This establishment located inside Westin Hotel. It has a nice cozy ambiance and the place was filled with customers. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by. read more

I was recently here for a convention. Since this place was right next to the Westin where I was staying at I decided to pay it a visit. Like any other burger place, there's a bar you can sit down at but there is many places to sit down at. I went with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and I thought it was going to be small.. I was very mistaken when I saw that monstrosity come out. Consisting of Two patties of Chicken, Applewood Bacon, Vermont White Cheddar, Ranch, Lettuce, Tomatos and Onions this sandwich was a feat to finish. I am not complaining but perhaps after the long 5-6 hour drive I was overwhelmed about how big this sandwich is. It was enough for me to say, yes I will come back here again for sure. Oh yeah. Food was good. My buddy got a burger and fries that he said was very good. I had a Greek salad that would have been better if it wasn't way over dressed. A customer can always ask for more dressing, but less dressing means a wasted salad and wasted food, so I didn't complain. Server took a long time to come back to us, and held my drink from the top when he dropped it at the table, which is gross. Not likely to go back. read more

This spot in Pittsburgh is an absolute gem! I had one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time at Bills Bar and Burgers. I ordered the Fat Cat Burger, and let me tell you, it was both delicious and truly unique! What makes it so special is that it's served on an English muffin, which completely elevates the burger experience. The burger itself was perfectly cooked and topped with a beautifully runny egg and all the classic burger accompaniments. Every bite was phenomenal! The restaurant itself has a nice, lively feel--it's the perfect atmosphere for a fun night out. They have a full bar and plenty of televisions playing games like football, making it a great spot to catch a match while enjoying your meal. Beyond the food and atmosphere, the service was outstanding. My server, Courtney, was an absolute delight! She was incredibly efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her excellent service truly capped off a fantastic meal. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Their style of burger is to put two patties on each burger, as well as lettuce, tomato, pickles, and their "special sauce," which is light and a little tangy. Lightly salted medium-cut fries accompany the burger. And, yes, they have other items on the menu too from appetizers to salads to chicken. Their milkshakes are huge and awesome as well. Service is polite and efficient from the hostess stand to the bar team to the waitstaff. While the restaurant is located on the Westin hotel, you don't feel like you're in a hotel. As a burger aficionado, I thought this would be a good place to try -- an alternative to a few of the other restaurants down the street and in the cultural district. This restaurant is just off the lobby of the very nice Westin Hotel. It has a nice sporty bar decor inside that sets it apart from the hotel interior. I would say that the food was decent -- nothing to write home about, but not bad. The burger was good and very filling -- while also not a standout burger among the many that I love. I visited on Mother's Day and they had a special combo deal that included a milkshake. It made for a good dessert, and I will say that I am not a regular milkshake partaker, but it was a tasty treat. All in all, I will say that this is a decent option if you are downtown and in this area. I presume that their regular clientele are those staying at the hotel or going to a convention next door, but it is just as convenient for anyone going somewhere in the cultural district. read more
