Was in town visiting the city and was staying within walking distance of Tom's. Came here for a late dinner. Nice sports bar atmosphere, although I wasn't there to watch anything. Big open space with tons of TVs. Food was very good. We had the fried pickles. They were slightly undercooked but not too bad. The ranch is fantastic! Our crew was visiting from out of town for a hockey tournament. We were able to find street parking very easy on a Saturday. It appeared there was a pregame event for the Steelers game (which was the next day), so I was surprised parking was so easy. We were seated at a high top and our server was excellent! Attentive, checked in frequently and friendly. We had the typical "bar food." Burgers, fries, wings, wrap. Everything was good and hot the spot for a late lunch. TVs are everywhere, every angle. I had the Poké bowl for dinner at Tom's Watch Bar and honestly, I wouldn't order it again or recommend it. I understand the concept of serving cold rice with Poké, but this rice was refrigerator hard cold, which really threw off the entire dish. The fish, avocado, and other toppings were fresh, but the temperature of the rice made the whole meal less enjoyable. I should've gone with the burger and fries instead of trying to be healthy late at night. On the positive side, the ambience was great -- lively and fun with plenty of beer options. It's in a convenient location too; I was staying at the hotel across the street, so it was an easy walk over. Great spot for drinks and atmosphere, but I'd skip the Poké bowl. read more

Are you ready for the most mediocre experience youve had in a long time while being assaulted by endless TV screens and chowing down uninspired food? Then this is the place for you! Its almost like they built a giant vacuum to suck out any personality that could have thrived here. After dining here one night with my family, i left a personal item behind by accident - when i arrived 2 weeks later, they had "given it away", as per the hostess Malika, who, if she rolled her eyes any harder, would have fallen out of her head and rolled out the door. According to the manager "Billy Smalls", it was actually stolen from his personal office. I was told that he would reach out to his staff, and left my contact info. No calls. Conflicting stories, attitude, and complete lack of service. Another visit to the "restaurant" to inquire about my lost item was met with a different and extremely hostile manager who refused to give her name, refused to get Mr. Smalls, and railroaded any attempt to talk to anyone. And don't worry, when you reach out to corporate, they'll ignore you too! So this is how we treat customers? Paying clientele? I just wanted my personal property back, and first it was given away, then it was stolen, then I was railroaded for trying to find the truth. Customer service is little more than a game to these clowns. What an absolute joke. We got to watch SummerSlam on a giant TV with you. I really truly appreciated and loved. The food was fantastic. I got a giant beer the largest beer I've ever seen and it was awesome. This is our first time eating at Tom's Watch Bar and my family and I were blown away by the whole experience. We decided to eat here for the outside seating atmosphere but we were surprised that everything else was also amazing along with the atmosphere. Our server Neiko was awesome, he was super cool and laid back and really friendly. He was always on time on checking in on us and giving us good recommendations for the menu. Honestly I feel like anything we could have gotten on the menu here is amazing. Everything we chose on the menu, the quality of the food blew us away. Went here during Picklesburgh, and it was super good. I ordered the Birria Nachos which was really good and well portioned out. I do wish however, they gave more meat as that was a little sparse but the flavor was good. After the nachos were finished since my boyfriend and j shared we ordered the Adobo Chicken tacos and they were supposed to be corn but came out flour. That was the only issue we experienced being there. They give the big cans of High Noons too for a decent price. If I am ever back to the north shore, I would definitely go back! The crispy coating is excellent and the chicken was cooked properly. - The burger is pure food service. Edible, but barely. This store could easily do better. - The tots that came with the burger are good; classic. Nothing special, nothing inspired, but solid tots. - We loved the prime rib/dip sandwitch. The jus is good. The ultimate destination for watching all your favorite sports!! I checked out Tom's recently after 1 other not so great visit- I had been to Tom's one other time previously, right after they opened, and didn't have the best experience (it was mobbed and we didn't order any food- so couldn't judge on that) but it took forever to get a drink wnd the prices were outrageous- this time it was awesome- still an expensive spot but very cool and service improved. The food is elevated bar food. Everything was great! My favorite was the lobster & shrimp mac & cheese- unreal. Tasted better than what half of the fancy steak places around PGH serve. I also loved their prime rib dip sandwich and the nachos! Everything was delicious and I was very impressed For drinks I stuck with a glass of wine and also tried a fun shot. Writing this review mainly to highlight the Prime Rib sandwich. It is so consistently delicious every time, and I'll never stop recommending it. The meat is perfectly cooked, the bread is soft but sturdy, the cheese is mild, and the demi glace just takes it to the next level in terms of flavor. I get mine with fries, which I find to be really well seasoned, thin, and crispy! I tried the fried pickles on my most recent trip, they were alright, dipping in ranch helped enhance the flavor for sure! They were a bit oily for my liking. read more

This is a perfect place to go before or after a game or even an event at AE. They have an open concept with a lot of TVs showing almost every game being televised. I will say it is rather loud. But, it is a sports bar. This was my second time here. And the food and service are great. With a nice selection of drinks, you can't go wrong. I may have been a party of two, but, I observed many larger parties around us. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
