My first job out of high school was at a Rite Aid (Rossmoor location wha wha), and the facing job in this pharmacy section was a serious hot mess, everything looked out of place and askew. I asked the Pharmacist where the finger splints were and she didn't know and told me to ask an associate. In my day our Pharmacist would come out and walk you to the section you needed help with, hand you the item, and ask if you had any questions. I don't know if RA has really changed that much, but there will be no smile awards for you my unhelpful Pharmacist friend. We ended up finally finding a finger split at a Bartells, which also had tape and finger sleeves. So yeah, from now on that's where the honey and I are going to go for last minute medical items, sorry Rite Aid. read more

The pharmacists and staff are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to try and get your rx filled when you need it. The employees up front where you come in don't seem to be trained enough a lot of times. Stock is low, evidently due to the bankruptcy filing. The pharmacy staff makes up for it quite a lot, and keeps you coming back. read more

So get this one... went in and bought nearly $200 worth of stuff between my 2 visits to the store on the 4th of July. (Long story short my ex threw all of my belongings away and I am replacing them. That's why so much $ spent) The main reason why I went was to get a curling iron. The first time I got the wrong size barrel. Ringlet curls just don't look good on me. I wanted the 3/4 not the tiny pencil size. So I returned a couple of hours later at the receipt tucked in the box of the curling iron. I barely took the curling iron out of the box and realized that it was the wrong size. I went back in with my receipt and found the box with the correct size. Woman behind the counter was just acting very strange a little too friendly and talkative. She kept ringing things in and avoiding him and this happened like six or seven times. It was really weird.. so after my purchase out, I noticed that she had charged me twice for the curling iron that I was replacing the small size for. The return purchase I'm like no because those should cancel each each other out essentially. And then she tried to return the one curling iron with the receipt that I had saying that I didn't have a receipt and tried to refund me the money. She does a weird return. She kept giving me cash and then telling me to give it back to her. It was really confusing. By the end I had like 5 receipts in my hand. so that's not even the worst part. I get home put the curling iron on my counter still in the box I go and open it today and it is a used curling iron. Not just for a minute decided they didn't like it and this is like curling iron that they had for a long time! And now I can't find the plethora of receipts that this woman gave me and I know I'm gonna be out probably the full amount of this curling iron. I am beyond upset! I don't know if the cashier was trying to get away with something or maybe she was the one that did the return with the used curling iron or what but the whole thing just is very SUS. I'm planning on going back in tomorrow to speak with the manager and have them review the camera footage and look back on their POS system at all of the suspicious returns voids! This is only like a $20 something dollar curling iron. It's not a break the bank kind of thing I don't have any type of disposable income right now! At all! I am starting from scratch again! I really hope they can make this right. Otherwise I will absolutely not be going back to this store ever again! read more

The Eastgate Rite Aid store is the best looking of the stores in Bellevue and Redmond. Clearly they did a renovation of this store because it doesn't have the look of the other locations in the area which are seriously outdated. I came here for a flu shot. The process to get a flu shot was easy. It helped that I was already in their system from getting a flu shot at another Rite Aid years ago. Once they found my info, they also went and located my insurance info without having to show my insurance card. The flu shot process was also quick and simple. After a simple needle poke which I could hardly feel, the process was done. Only thing about the visit was that my body didn't react well to the flu shot and I got sick shortly thereafter. In hindsight, my timing for the flu shot was probably all wrong as I was probably on the verge of getting sick anyway. In any case, I do like this Rite Aid location. Though I really don't shop at Rite Aid because of the ridiculous card reward program that Rite Aid and other national drugstore chains like CVS and Walgreens make you join to get their sale prices. But if I had a prescription that I needed to fill, I would consider utilizing the pharmacy here again due to its good service. read more

I'm convinced this pharmacy is the 7th ring of hell. I legitimately CRY on my way there if I have to go, I would rather muck out a horse stall in the cold than deal with these people. Unfortunately they are the ONLY place that takes my insurance within 15 miles. The worst. Today I was there THRICE (because possibly I angered the baby Jesus?!?) Long story short - "new" pharmacy technician charged me for some meds at full price. After I asked- I am not kidding you- five times if she was using insurance. She assured me yes yes yes (with such a terrible attitude and like I just want you out of my face so I can go on break kind of thing.) I said hey, this charged me, I usually have no copay through insurance. She. Didn't. Run. It. Through. Insurance. Y'all. (Five times I asked. Nicely. She just wanted to be done. I can't. So then the pharmacist comes over to refund me. I said hey, look, I asked her several times, please make sure she knows about insurance (kind of her job). She told me *I quote* It's her 2nd day. Ummm, first of all she was rude to me two different times over the last two weeks so I know that was a lie. Which is what I said. The pharmacist was not a fan of that. Then all my medication was put back (I let them know I would be back in an hour because I had to verify my insurance. Again.) and I could wait an hour for them to refill it. Like, I have kids in the car hungry, I have more work, I just waited in line for 23 minutes, I need my meds. That you had. Two hours ago. Suddenly it's put back and I have to sit and wait. No. I can't. Avoid this place if you have literally any possible way to. Ugh. read more

Best kept secret beer wise. Great selection that is always stocked and they have great deals compared to nearby stores in town. Pharmacy. Never gotten medication from here but all the reviews lately speak about incompetence. Not sure if it's turnover in the Pharmacy or maybe some corporate Rote Aide policies but worth mentioning. Nice large store with no parking issues. Always able to park directly in front and shop away. Park nearby at Safeway and knock out both stores if you like. Halloween and seasonal decorations. A few computer supplies like ink and printer paper. Not a one stop shop but you really will have a majority of shopping needs met here that you can supplement with the Safeway next door. Checkout lines always nice quickly town one or two lanes open. Occasionally you get stuck behind someone elderly with thirty coupons but that's part and parcel of Rite Aid or Walgreen it seems. read more

I can't delve into a review about the different aspect of this rite aid but I came to write a review for Kyle - sales associate. What a wonderful young man Kyle is. If he is working at the tills, he will greet every customer that comes in. He's very kind and engaging with my 2 year old. I have been served by him twice and he is very memorable. Love the cheerful and genuine atmosphere that Kyle creates in such a dull, clinical environment. Kudos to Kyle. Keep up the great work. read more

*Updated again, on 9/25/2014* Welcome to the 21st Century, Rite Aid! Wow, I came into this store yesterday and thought I was in the wrong place. They recently had a total, extreme make-over. No longer does the store seem like a relic from the 1960's, with parallel long, dim and narrow corridors. The place is now open, bright, easy to navigate. You can see from the front door where every section is, thanks to large, colorful ceiling-mounted signage. Aisles are shorter and vary in directional orientation, depending on section. The store feels new, modern. and very well stocked, from its hardware section, to its office supply area, to the pharmaceutical area, to the home goods section, and more. A special shout-out to the newly revamped cosmetic section. Wow. They had some newer, hipper, high-end brand names out of California that I'd never seen before (beautiful packaging, look like quality products, pricey), along with a good selection of Philosophy bath gels (love them!), and other brands I usually only have seen at Ulta or Sephora. The check-out area has been improved by having an elongated counter at the front of the store with multiple cashiers there, and now customers have one line to wait in, and then branch off to the various open cashiers once they get to the front of the line. It's a better system than the old "multiple lines, multiple cashiers, pray you're in the line that moves the fastest" system. I even like the new shopping baskets, too: light-weight, sleek, with roller wheels and a retractable handle, to roll the basket on the ground if so desired. They updated the bathrooms to some degree, installing contemporary hand dryers and soap dispensers. They could've/should've gone further, updating the toilets, and keeping the rooms a little cleaner, IMO. Still, it's an improvement. I've always loved the greeting cards here. I find they have fewer cards, but an expanded Papyrus selection (gorgeous but pricey). And they definately have a LARGE wine selection mid-store. I'm not sure if their pricing issues have improved or not, but the store itself is 1000% nicer, and it's WAY more pleasurable shopping here. Good job, Rite Aid! read more

Updated inside now with a RediClinic, aka a nurse practitioner onsite to diagnose things quickly and painlessly. I came in for a prescription refill and they were super nice at the pharmacy. There were lots of cool displays inside to occupy my time while I waited for that. Price-wise, you typically pay extra for the convenience of getting random odds and ends all in one location. I will be in here in 10 months to buy white elephant gifts for sure. They carry chia pets in the shape of cats! Brilliant! Also loved that they put caffeine pills by the diapers. No need to explain that! read more

I've been to plenty of Rite Aids in the Seattle area over the years and for the most part if you've seen one - you've seen them all. They carry relatively the same merchandise at all the stores though the layouts may be a little different. So I really wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary when I stopped into the Eastgate neighborhood Rite Aid in Bellevue. But as soon as I walked in the store my shopping trip was unusually pleasant. The cashier closest to the door shouted out a friendly "Good evening! Welcome!" And set the tone for the next 30 minutes. Every time I got near the front - even though he was working on projects - that same night cashier would come running up to see if I was ready to check out. He asked good questions about what I was looking for and was great at multitasking. There were only a handful of shoppers in the small store late that night and he seemed to really be in tune and helpful with everyone. My experience with the pharmacy was the same: fast, helpful and very efficient. They asked good questions and gave good advice. This store is a little out of my normal path- but should the opportunity arise, I wouldn't hesitate to shop there again. Great customer service means so much! read more

The pharmacy here is a joke. So unprofessional, at times flat out rude, and incompetent. So many times they didn't have basic medication like antibiotics in stock; if either have to wait a couple of days for them to restock or go to another part of town. They don't pay attention to your preferences like brand name v generic. Really sub par. Too many frustrating experiences.... I'd rather drive farther away but have it be reliable. read more

I had an appointment near here and figured I would grab some things I needed while in the area. The store looks old and a little dirty (I wouldn't even look in the bathroom if I were you, just hold it), but I found what I needed and the items were on sale. Bonus. If you haven't been here in the past month, you wouldn't even recognize the place! They have completely renovated the store. It is brighter, cleaner, organized, and they have expanded their options. Horrible! The store is pretty cool and has good things but the problem is at the register! The cashiers are way too chatty, wanting to know absolutely everything about you. It gets tiring when they ask things like "what are you doing", "what you up to", "did you just come from work", "what do you do", etc... I know they are supposed to be friendly but this chit chat crap gets to be enough. Then after they asked me 20 questions, they asked for ID for the purchase and to top that off wanted a manager to approve the sale. All I was buying was paper dishes and a necklace!!!!!!!! WTH!!! I like the selection here, but I hesitate to shop here since every time they behave this way. Avoid if possible. read more

They are always so professional, happy and are always going the extra mile to make sure they have everything that I need in stock and ready for me every month without fail!! They can't seem to find anyone (male) to work up front who isn't either creepy, always on their phone, or rude. (To be fair, there are 2 women who work there sometimes who are nice enough, but the guys are so creepy). Half of the time you can't even find someone to check you out and have to wait a few minutes for someone to notice you're waiting at the counter. I go here for the convenience, but I'd rather not have to because of the people who work up front. read more

I am compelled to give the manager (a lady wrapped her hair with a scarf) a shout out. I came in to return some items I bought about 45 days ago, and I lost my receipt. The manager could have declined my return, but she didn't. She went to her back office and went through all the transactions of the day of my purchase so I can get a full refund. Although it wasn't a large sum of money, she went above and beyond to help me showed her commitment. I thought I should share my story and let her know how awesome she was. read more

Um, I am so grateful for these people I cannot even begin to express the sincerity of my appreciation. So first of all Ash and Christy are amazing! My battery wouldn't start on it's own (actually the car I was driving belongs to MY HUSBAND) and he was using my car so I called AAA and they started the car for me but told me I couldn't turn the car off or it wouldn't start. SO, I called Rite Aid who had my prescription ready to tell them that I needed to be fast because I was going to have to leave my car running...Christy said "you know what, I've totally been there, I'm gonna run the prescription out to the parking lot for you". That was not only a huge help but a total shock. She reminded me that people are good and really do want to help. Since that interaction, I have been expecting the best from both myself and others. It's so easy to expect problems in the world but what a beautiful reminder Christy exemplified. Also the following interaction I had an early flight and I was at the pharmacy first thing when they opened and Ash had such a great attitude. I felt like I was micromanaging and hovering trying to hurry her but she totally understood and put me at ease explaining she totally gets when we are in a rush and truly made me feel like IT'S OK. I don't know if it's Rite Aid or just this pharmacy but I highly recommend this pharmacy! The people are truly impeccable and I guarantee you won't find anyone better. Respectfully. read more
